– Cécilia – Your book “Crystal Heart” There are no coincidences… yesterday afternoon, before the bookstore closed, I told my children that I wanted to give us a joint gift for this Christmas. It was the book Crystal Heart , which I managed to grab just before the bookstore closed. My children told me that it was a gift especially for me! I savored this gift on this December 25, I could even say “devoured”… This book is simply magnificent because of the story in which we are drawn, because of the messages it conveys about Love, Love in all its forms, all its dimensions, about the Love that gives all its meaning to life.
It is better to suffer from loving than to suffer from never having loved…
A book full of wisdom, full of love, which gave a beautiful dimension to this Christmas day. I think I have just passed on the desire to read it to my children. Another gift. Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, thank you for raising awareness...

– Nenya – The Lost Word Dear Frédéric, I am rereading The Lost Word . I have also read The Angel's Promise several times. I am in Pompeii, for the moment with Livia and Javolenus. These two novels have become so familiar to me that they seem to have been truly experienced. I can form a very real image of Moira, Jean or Johanna. I have never been to Mont Saint-Michel or Pompeii, but it seems to me that I am there when I am immersed in these novels. My husband is more willing to immerse himself in your other books. He is reading for the umpteenth time, the Little Treatise on Interior Life . He finds these pages splendid and says of this book: it is the best book I have
ever read. This little note also to congratulate you, to thank you but also, as we have read everything Frédéric Lenoir, for my part, I would like to read a new novel. When will this pleasure come? Merry Christmas to you and good luck for 2015! Catie/Nenya

– Alain2612 (alainleclere@orange.fr) – Your appearance on RTL Hello dear Frédéric Lenoir, thank you very much for your appearance on RTL this Saturday, December 20 with Marie Drucker.
Yes, a thousand times YES, Yoga and Meditation must be introduced in schools, exclusively in Kindergarten and Primary.
How do you explain that it still hasn't become a practice, even though teachers have been wanting it for 5 years now?
Our society is locked into an ideological straitjacket fueled by past, present, and future governments. This political ideology consists of keeping people dependent on this power. It is especially important that children do not acquire a spirit of synthesis and analysis.
Because if that were the case, the governments mentioned above would be ousted from power.
This is my point of view, I wish to share it with you and your readers. For the debaters, I am happy to be presented with contradictory arguments. Thank you for reading. I wish you the success you deserve.

– Isabelle Finally, the opportunity to come and meet you, hear you, and hear your message of optimism, and therefore of hope, in Bordeaux. Whatever your works, whether they are works of faith or messengers of wisdom, they help us to transmit (and believe in) this optimism to our children, and to gain serenity. Indeed, as you point out, current events and the messages transmitted by society on a daily basis push us towards pessimism and gloom, despite the hope that our faith allows us to have. Thank you then for your action, thank you for our children. And thank you for this rare and rich interlude.

– Christine (Paris) – Thank you. I loved your book, Coeur de cristal , and all the beautiful messages it contains. After a few lines, I couldn't stop until the last page... It made me want to come see you this evening at the Atout Livres bookstore in Paris. I don't regret it. I left wanting to read Spinoza, Aristotle, and many others... Thank you for sharing.

– Camille (Reims 51) – Your visit to Reims A big thank you for your presence yesterday in Reims.
It was a beautiful gift to listen to you and reflect together on life.
Your books are precious aids, moments of reflection that allow us to position ourselves in the present moment and to question ourselves, the Life that surrounds us, our way of living and the meaning we want to give to our existence.
Thank you for your words that awaken the soul. Continue to believe in what you write. Humanity needs it.

Saturday, December 6, 2014 – Marina – Congratulations
I loved your conference in Bastia, the time went by very quickly… I hope others will follow. It is always a real pleasure to read you, and for the first time I was able to really listen to you. Thank you for this initiatory tale, a response to the opening of the Heart, to everything that can connect us to the essential to the sacred. Continue to nourish our souls. Thank you also for loving our island. Best thoughts.

– Moune – Reviving hope Mr. LENOIR, I didn't know you. I discovered you on the show with Mrs. Voulzy and Souchon. You made me want to read your books. The very next day, I bought your book, Coeur de cristal , and I LOVED it! I am a single, happy, and fulfilled mother who thinks that my heart is, modestly, locked in a little yellow box of the surprise egg that all children know, and not of the crystal, but the result is the same. Thank you for making us evolve spiritually speaking and question ourselves. Your book is magnificent, gives hope, a feeling of well-being from the first to the last page. I highly recommend it, from 7 to the age of 12…. Yours, Moune

– Marina – Acknowledgments I was in NIMES last Saturday for the interview about the book Coeur de cristal and the book signing session. Listening to you is a real pleasure. We feel that you have a beautiful soul. I appreciate your books which do us good and bring us a lot. Thank you for everything you do.

Saturday, November 29, 2014 – Marie Martine
We have just returned from Nîmes where we went to listen to you. A gift this Christmas season, your presence and your smile nourished our souls. When reading your books, I always feel like I hear your voice, and I can even hear your voice.
Thank you for your presence and your availability to all of us. With all my gratitude.

Saturday, November 29, 2014 – Nadia – Crystal Heart
I am one of your faithful readers. For some time, I have been wondering how to get my grandchildren interested in the quest for the Essential. Your book Crystal Heart gives me this opportunity, and I thank you for it. It is easy to read and gradually delivers messages of wisdom and love (agape). It will find its place under the tree for my 14-year-old granddaughter. I sincerely thank you for allowing us, through your books, to familiarize ourselves with the wisdom of the world. This helps us to evolve spiritually. I am grateful to you.

Thursday, November 27, 2014 – Annie – Thank you
I am currently rereading Petit traité de vie intérieure , for the second time… subsequently, I also enjoyed L'Âme du Monde , and recently Cœur de Cristal . Last Sunday you were the guest of the SOUCHON/VOULZY tandem, whom I appreciate (I share VOULZY's questions and passion for History)… so thank you for bringing so much talent to your writings: they rekindle forgotten lights within us.

Monday, November 24, 2014
– Mémée – Crystal Heart “Mémée, my granddaughters say to me, aren’t you a little crazy?”
“Of course, it took me a long time (70 years). Your beautiful dog has just died, and even though I am a granny, I can’t find the words. This book might help you.” Wonderful book, thank you

– Chris – Thank you I was present yesterday at the “Ideas Lead the World” festival organized in Pau. Thank you for this wonderful presentation and for the signing session… and thank you for staying beyond the initially planned time. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to have one of their books signed, but I was also one of the reserved and slightly emotional people who no longer knew what to say once in front of the person…! So I could only say “thank you for your books” when I thought “thank you for this personal journey that they allow me to make, to me who several doctors have told that I will be depressed for life in the same way that a diabetic or a hypertensive person are sick for life and need treatment, to me who is therefore medically classified as unhappy for life… and who wants to fight against this and against this discourse.” It is not easy to say this out loud, which is why I am allowing myself to do it here. THANKS.

Sunday, November 23, 2014 – Isabelle – Pure moment of happiness
I'm returning from the Pau salon "Ideas lead the world" on the theme of happiness and attended your conference in front of the video screen due to lack of space in the amphitheater.
I didn't know you, but my sister is an avid reader of your work. Around us, faces captivated by your universal message, simple and at the same time demanding. You have the talent to put the right words to intuitions or flashes of insight that sometimes cross our minds but remain uncultivated for lack of having been cultivated, meditated upon, appropriated. Thank you for your sincerity, your authenticity, and your empathy. Three hours of signing without leaving for lunch (I am not one of the lucky recipients, the little red ribbon having definitively closed just as we were preparing to greet you) underlines the attention and respect you have for your readers. The public was not mistaken and generally praised your great modesty and availability. I will therefore delve into your writings...

Thursday, November 20, 2014 – Hervé (Bordeaux) – TV5
I really appreciated your participation in the TV5 program this evening. A whole journey and reflections that I also share (raising awareness among young people about how to approach things in life, awakening, ... the change in the world that begins with the change in oneself). The opportunity that each pain represents to make us evolve towards something more soothing ... I like the "illustrated wisdom" of the elders.
For my part, I have formed the following thought: if I press moderately on a healthy part of your body, you will not feel pain ... if, on the other hand, I press on a part that is already injured, sick, you will probably feel some. It is therefore not the finger that presses that is at the origin of the pain, but it is indeed within us! I believe that this simple observation can help many people move forward for whom "hell is other people." In any case, it helped me get through it... Yours faithfully

Wednesday, November 19 – Mauro Armillès – To thank
I would like to thank Mr. Frédéric Lenoir for the treasures of wisdom that we find in his books, being a “bulimic” of paper, TV and internet information, he made me understand that we had to be interested in 90% of the beauty of the World, I read the Little Treatise on Inner Life and the Healing of the World , thank you again.

Wednesday, November 12, 2014 – Mina – Gratitude
Finally, a conference by Frédéric Lenoir in Bastia, what a joy. In my quest for spirituality, I would first like to thank you for everything you have given me over the past ten years. I discovered you thanks to “Le Monde des Religions” and since then I have been reading your books and listening assiduously to your program “Les Racines du Ciel” (The Roots of Heaven). Leili Anvar, with her delicacy and sensitivity, conveys wonderful messages to us. All these quality guests, Christian Bobin, Jacqueline Kelen and so many others warm our hearts. Your voice gives off a Christ-like quality. A thousand thanks.

Tuesday, November 11, 2014
– RP Hello, I just finished Crystal Heart . What a joy. Thank you for this wonderful story. Kind regards

Monday, November 10, 2014 – Chris – L'oracle della Luna
Browsing the shelves of my little bookstore, I chose this book, because I have already read you both as a historian and as a novelist. But... to be honest, it was a choice without conviction, nor much motivation. Going through a "somewhat" difficult period of life (understatement...), few things "grabbed" me. Against all expectations, I devoured the book in 4 days. I found it magnificent. For its story of course, but also because it teaches or "re-teaches" facts of history, philosophy, civilization that have been forgotten in my memory. And then because it makes you think about the meaning of life... and this passage at the very beginning of the hero's life "at the risk of [...] missing both his dream life and the normal existence he could have led" has strangely resonated in me ever since. Thank you for this book

Thursday, November 6, 2014 – Sylvie – BFM TV
I watched you on BFM this evening, news program and company, completely agree with you, you were perfect, simple and clear, thank you! You are wonderful, we love reading you, you do remarkable work as a philosopher anchored in his time, I wish you good luck, joy, and a long life. Best regards, Sylvie

Saturday, November 1, 2014 – Pierre (Geneva, Switzerland) – François
Dear Sir, I have read and had others read your book on Francis, which is excellent like your other writings. The interest aroused by this authentic witness to the message of Christ is immense, reaching all social and religious circles, even those most distant from the Church and the Christian faith. Thanks to him, the message gets through directly, in a way sidelining the Church and its conservative straitjacket. Even if the Pope doesn't manage to change much, he will have given new impetus to the Christian message and aroused an unexpected interest in this Christ of whom you speak so well.
The Christian message needed the Enlightenment in the 18th century to be freed from its confiscation by the Church; Francis, like his namesake saint or John 23, does so in turn.
Your book is an excellent spokesperson for it and gives an essential and coherent version of it to those who read it. Thank you

Friday, October 31, 2014
– Jalice – Acknowledgments Reading you is a real pleasure. Thank you for these moments of sharing and reflection. I can't wait to start Crystal Heart . A regular reader

Sunday, October 26, 2014 – Pierre – Hello Life!
A short treatise on inner life on the cover… We could have called this book: “A short treatise on inner life” because in this book there is everything you need to say “hello to life!” like you say hello to a friend.

Sunday, October 26, 2014 – Isabelle (Lima – Peru) – Thank you
I just finished The Soul of the World . A thought-provoking book, full of lessons that help us understand the richness of the present moment. A grain of sand to shake up the world. It’s a real pleasure to read your books. We feel good afterward… THANK YOU.

Sunday, October 26, 2014 – Mildred – The Wave of the Soul
How good it is to touch the essence of life…
To read such kind, revitalizing words…
To experience the sharing of love…
To communicate a perspective of continual progress…
To have faith in the capacity of men to live well together…
To have confidence in the growth of the spirit, of being,
To insist on the possibility of being free in spirit, happy with the heart…
The light that you give off encourages me to continue on my path.
Thank you. Yours sincerely

Monday, October 20, 2014 – Catherine – A big thank you for all these beautiful books.
I began to discover your work with The Soul of the World , a magnificent book that my brother gave me for Christmas two years ago. What a beautiful gift!
I have just finished your Little Treatise on Inner Life . Several years ago, I began a long and difficult inner journey that I have understood better in recent months. Focused on this work, I had forgotten to a certain extent the globality of its human dimension that you were able to restore so well. This book came at the right time to shed additional light on my spiritual journey and certain points have nourished my reflection.
It is not always easy to share, even with those close to you, everything that touches on the inner or spiritual life. This book offers it to us to share with simplicity and erudition, closeness and depth. A big thank you!

Monday, October 20, 2014 – Anne – Coeur de Cristal
Hello, I just closed Cœur de cristal with a beautiful emotion: touched! It's really successful; a beautiful story, a tale of initiation that lives up to expectations. I'm a storyteller and I read it all the way through, wondering how to tell it, adding music here, a song there... Maybe I'll do it, if possible?
In the meantime, I'm going to give it as a gift and have it read because this book is a balm for the heart!
Thank you. Kind regards

Sunday, October 19, 2014 – John Wildenguth – johnwildenguth@gmail.com – Too bad
Too bad that despite your great spirituality you cannot refrain from advertising your book, or even choosing the theme of your show for this purpose. Spiritual perhaps, but certainly without much class, dear Frédéric.

Sunday, October 19, 2014
– Dominique – Coeur de Cristal Dear Frédéric, I first found this book very beautiful, I mean the object, and especially the paper, very white and very smooth. Master Zhou's first teaching and his metaphor of the mirror gave my daughter and me the opportunity to return to something that I remind her of every time she comes home from school and is sad because someone made fun of her. I think that in the future, I will talk to her again about Master Zhou, to advise her again and again to move on. I discovered many other things, already read by you, that I would like to pass on to her. The magic of the world, and of encounters, the path of learning, the importance of knowing where you want to go, how to distinguish true love... Now it will be simpler! So thank you for this book that reflects you, with its light and apparent simplicity, and which would make a lovely children's film. Take care.

Saturday, October 18, 2014
– Alaintchik (Trilpot 77) – Bravo Frédéric A true story of an American who asked this question to a wise man “why today our politicians do not find a solution to our social problems”. The wise man’s response: “Society is like a plant that develops according to certain principles of its own. Likewise, society appears with principles that it will develop over time. Its duration depends on its purity of intention. Birth of the stem, leaves, flowers with their perfumes and colors and… will eventually fade. Likewise for society, it develops according to its basic principles and, like all relative things, the old principles (of growth) have disappeared and have been replaced by destruction (purification). Politicians continue with the old principles. Imagine a gardener who would take out his paint pots to give color to his plant. At the foot of this plant new shoots appeared… new principles. To raise the level of consciousness of the world.

Wednesday, October 15, 2014 – Emmanuelle
A few books, two hours of conference and a signing…
And I keep a very beautiful image: the radiant smile of a humble man.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014 – Geneviève St André – Rawdon (Quebec – Canada) – A thank you from Quebec
Your books are full of inspiring words and thoughtful reflections that touch me deeply. They are a satisfying and invigorating spiritual nourishment, which I am very pleased to share with the man who is part of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014 – Myriame – Sharing
Dear Frédéric, to say nothing after reading your book Coeur de cristal would be to keep to oneself all the magic of the words, the beauty of the text but even more so the rare and precious expression that makes people happy! I will only say this word: Thank you Frédéric!

Saturday, October 11, 2014
– Lisouu – The Soul of the World Thank you, very moving. Lise, 17 years old

Saturday, October 11, 2014 – Christian – Share
Reading “The Soul of the World” takes me one step closer to knowledge and its light. My words seem too small to express all the beauty that emanates from yours. Thank you, Frederic.

Saturday, October 11, 2014
– Frédérique – Like everyone else, thank you! What else can we say when we've read or heard you? Oh, yes, I have another idea! MORE!
Well, then, in order: Again, thank you, and thank you again!
The rest of the praise can be found on my blog, where I talk about your Little Treatise , which is only small in name and price... Yours faithfully.

Tuesday, October 7, 2014 – Sainte Foy-lès-Lyon – The Soul of the World
Hello Frédéric, I have just finished your latest work. I thank you deeply for fighting against obscurantism. Your words help us to hold on and stay the course. The Soul of the World , indeed, needs all souls of good will to fight and transform lead into gold… This time of ours requires great courage and great clarity of action. Personally, I am very inspired by the Yi King: wise and strategic… Altruistic and firm. It seems to me that all beings who serve what you call The Soul of the World must today position themselves with strength and determination when the political regime in which they live allows them to do so. We must DARE TO FIGHT FOR PEACE AND LOVE, deep in our hearts YES and AT THE HEART OF OUR ACTIONS. Goodbye. Thank you again. A.SC

Tuesday, October 7, 2014
– Anne – Thank you. More than a year ago, a complete letting go turned my life upside down, giving it back all its meaning, all its essence… Strangely, in moments of doubt, chance made me come across your books and each time, they awakened me, raising me more and more in this state of inner freedom… Thank you for this gift of yours to speak to our souls, to awaken them, to bring them to this state of freedom of being, to the discovery of our own truth, far from the conformist clichés of our society. Thank you for The Soul of the World, a true message of ecumenical peace, may it be heard beyond borders, where the source of life is unfortunately still a source of conflict. Finally, thank you for all these reflections which have made me move forward, thus discovering a peaceful path, that of inner happiness…

Monday, October 6, 2014
– Joyce Blazo – “The Essence of Heaven” Good evening, Frédéric. Your writings are like a vast ocean of transparency in which it is sweet to dive, to float, for a mineral and crystalline meditation. I mentioned your book “The Soul of the World” among other things, during my last opening at the Abbey of Boscodon this Sunday where I presented my paintings, inviting the audience to meditate on the chapter of “sweetness,” essential to so much beauty and depth. As Plato said, “beauty is the splendor of truth.” Yours sincerely.

Saturday, October 4, 2014 – Nem – Questions about the Little Treatise on Inner Life
Thank you for this lovely summary book. Two questions:
– End of the book: if someone, whoever they are, wants to wear outward signs of wealth because it gives them the feeling (true or false) of being more esteemed (or more self-confidence or whatever) and that, moreover, it is not to the detriment of anyone… What does it matter? Isn’t it ridiculous for others to pay attention? Isn’t there more wisdom in looking at the person and what they are worth?
– On the theme of sharing: it’s good to pay your taxes and it can give you a clear conscience, the feeling of contributing, but… Isn’t it necessary to inquire about what is done with it, or even to want to get involved and prefer to use this sum not for personal consumption but to create real jobs for people by giving them back their dignity and freedom?
In short, a book on the French notion of equality would be welcome.

Friday, October 3, 2014
– Claire – Ch. Bobin or the secretary of flowers A thousand thanks for this new show with Ch. Bobin.
“When the word comes, everything is illuminated… forever…”
“… a wisdom that is impossible to shut away, to contain…”
It’s always a festive meal to hear or read him.

Friday, September 26, 2014
– Christine Frédéric, it was by pure “chance” that I met you a few weeks ago, guided by destiny. I was in great psychological disarray and your book The Soul of the World was a great help to me and without having leafed through it entirely, from the first lines I thanked Life a thousand times for having put it in my hands. IT IS A GIFT FROM HEAVEN that I will share with those I love and who still want to believe like me that Life can still love us despite all this suffering around us, because I am a Libra, and very sensitive to the pain of others, whoever they may be. Thank you with all my heart Frédéric for writing it.

Friday, September 26, 2014
– Jonayd – Reading review I just read The Soul of the World … thank you so much because it was very refreshing and inspiring… superb writing… I love you…

Tuesday, September 23, 2014 – Pauline – Thank you
I would simply like to thank you for Petit traité de vie intérieure , which I discovered a while ago and which has brought me a lot and which I am rereading and rediscovering with a different eye after my first philosophy classes. You introduce concepts that we subsequently cover in class and I am very happy to have already heard about them, unlike my friends. Thank you for making philosophy even more enjoyable and exciting than it already is.

Tuesday, September 23, 2014
– Soizic – Thank you Thank you to the Humanist that you are for this great moment of wisdom that is your book: The Soul of the World ! Bought yesterday, I absorbed it as if it had been a source and I intend to share it with my daughters, so much did your writing touch me.

Monday, September 15, 2014 – Eléonore – The Subject of Attachment
Hello, your book,
Petit Traité de vie intérieure (Short Treatise on ), is very interesting and, above all, very pragmatic. However, I would like to make a comment regarding the chapter on attachment. Attachment is a problem that affects both material and human relationships. To do this, we must revisit the difference between Love and attachment. To love is to appreciate someone, more or less strongly, solely for who they are. To become attached to someone is to expect something from them to fill a gap in oneself (suffering, fear, desire, etc.). In the first case, the relationship is healthy, and of course, in the event of loss, we are deeply sad, but life goes on. In the second case, it is almost certain that the relationship is conflictual since a person cannot constantly give us what we want. In the event of loss, the effect is disastrous... We can understand this difference more easily after having experienced it. Congratulations again on your book.

Tuesday, September 9, 2014 – Eléonore – Discovery…
One August evening, on earth. My bookshelf, in which lies a book, bought some time ago. Left there. Then that evening, I pick it up. Why that evening? Because it's the moment, I suppose, I'm "ready." The little treatise on inner life… Wow, what a discovery! Like a guide on the path to awareness, a path I began a few years ago. But on which one can sometimes go around in circles or take the wrong turns or make long stops. No matter, here I am again, on the road to and toward my truth. Armed with readings, reflections, decisions, and more motivated than ever to continue on this path. So Frédéric, in a word: thank you. You are one of those elements that trigger or RE-trigger the desire for understanding.

Tuesday, September 9, 2014
– Andy – Thank you! I'm starting to reread The Little Treatise … for the third time, and I want to thank you for writing such a good travel companion. On my second reading (which ended this afternoon), I particularly enjoyed the chapter on humor. I agree that there is no humor in the Bible, but it seems that God has a sense of it. In fact, Woody Allen tells us how to stimulate it: “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.”
Here is my attempt at sharing. Thanking you again…

Monday, September 8, 2014
– Anoushka – “The Back to School of the Roots of Heaven” Hello, a magnificent program with Christian Bobin. A marvelous poet's voice. I listened to each word and his great bursts of laughter like good little red sips of life. And with the creaking of the door, the crackling of the fire and even the silence of the candles, the darkness of the room. The rustling of the sheet of paper, the little birds in the garden, the footsteps, and even the fragile rosehip flower.
The library looked like a small bakery-pastry shop with three greedy children inside…
All of this, in his home… inseparable from this poet writer whom I love enormously.
Thank you so much to you and Leili Anvar, for this wonderful program. This program, for me, and soon your new books, swept away a cloud of back-to-school sadness! It is balm for the heart, hope, in this world. Joy! Bravo!

Friday, September 5, 2014
– Viator – A quick comment on “The Angel’s Promise” and “The Lost Word” Hello Mr. Lenoir, very late in reading your works (relative to the date of their publication), I just finished The Lost Word after reading The Angel’s Promise , this on the advice of a person I met at a wedding.
Allow me to sincerely thank you, as well as Mrs. Violette Cabesos, for these few hours spent in the company of the characters you created, in places I had the opportunity to visit several times during my free time.
In all simplicity, because I am only a small lover of literature and history, I share my comments with you.
I started reading well, but my interest waned a little in the chapters concerning the history of Christianity told by the Benedictine monk Roman to Moïra. This may be due to the fact that I knew most of these elements, which, although a little long, are nevertheless useful for understanding the story.
On the other hand, afterwards, I found the pace perfectly suited to my tastes, neither too slow nor too fast. Every evening it was a real pleasure to resume reading. The description of life at Mont Saint Michel is remarkable and even more so that of Vézelay (in both cases, I had fun comparing the details of the story with my memories and other history and geography texts).
As for the characters, apart from Johanna, who is outstanding, I really liked Livia (for her courage) and Brother Pacifique (for his calm and clear judgment).
To end on a less serious note (which is not entirely certain), thank you very much for all your references to oenological heritage.
I have tasted all the wines and spirits you mention, with the exception of the "Lacryma Christi," a gap that, thanks to you, I will try to fill soon.
With all my thanks, I send you my most cordial greetings.

Friday, September 5, 2014 – Mateo – Link between discovery and “The Healing of the World”
I am currently devouring the book The Healing of the World and I came across an article on a political vision in connection with civil society that I have rarely seen and which makes me think of the direction of the book. So I allow myself to share the article in question: http://r-eveillez-vous.fr/democratie-evolutive/
I look forward to continuing reading and seeing you on France Culture.

– Véronique Lardeau Hello Mr. Lenoir, A short treatise on the inner life , God with Marie Drucker, The Soul of the World with illustrations by Alexis Chabert (magnificent), what upheavals! Coming soon Our paths of hope … Great! I can’t wait! Thank you Mr. Lenoir for this path.
(Very beautiful photos which appear on the top banner of your site).

– Clau I just gave my daughter your book, Du bonheur, un voyage philosophique . I just received a text message from her saying, “Your book is doing me good.” I wanted to thank you.

Sunday, August 24, 2014 – Flo
Simply, thank you!

Wednesday, August 20, 2014 – Denis Benoit – Mouans-Sartoux (06) – Consciousness, hypnosis, meditation (Roustang, André, Midal…)
Hello Frédéric, I have carefully listened and re-listened (…and re-listened) to the broadcasts with François Roustang “Le renonement à soi”, from October 21, 2012, and “Socrates, shaman or philosopher?”, from March 23, 2010 (rebroadcast this July). The thesis of this (particularly remarkable) therapist and philosopher is (in two words) the following: when we are feeling bad, it is in no way “Know thyself”, the famous gnôthi seauton (attributed to Socrates, but which Roustang interprets in a very particular way, in complete rupture with common sense), which allows us to feel better. On the contrary, it is about leaving words, intellect, "reflection", thought, "understanding", "consciousness", etc., in short, everything that concerns the "self", aside to (re)immerse oneself in "life". And, for Roustang, it is hypnosis - as he defines and practices it, in a very personal way - which allows this leap: it is about letting go of "consciousness" to be fully present to the complex experience of life. According to Roustang, hypnosis is not an "altered state of consciousness" but "a state of generalized confusion".
Now, you ask F. Roustang the question of whether his practice (and his theory) has links with Eastern thought and meditation. He replies that this is indeed the case. Indeed, the current of "mindfulness meditation" - but also, more generally, that of meditation - also advocates leaving aside words and thoughts to dive "directly" into the experience of life. What interests me (to the highest degree) are the (probably) close links between F. Roustang's hypnotic therapy and this current of "mindfulness" (and what is generally called "meditation"). But see the apparent contradiction in terms: for one, it is about leaving "consciousness" and for the other, establishing it (reestablishing it)... My question: when will there be a (or several...) broadcast(s) on this theme? (denis.benoit.univ@gmail.com)

Tuesday, August 19, 2014 – Virginie – Thank you
Frédéric, a huge thank you for your books overflowing with culture and the good times I spend in their company! I discovered you with the book God that was recommended to me, being a practicing Catholic. I am 32 years old, mother and fulfilled wife. Music teacher and modest concert pianist, trained harpsichordist. Passionate about 18th century and human relations, I teach with joy. Until now, my reading was limited to works on art, musicology, or documentaries, but certainly not philosophical. I was impressed by the ease with which I devoured this first book, as simple as it was rich. So I took an interest in your bibliography and devoured Jesus, Socrates …, On Happiness, Healing … just as easily, and I want to continue. It's a shock, the kind we like to have in our lives. You have clarified a sum of intuitions and feelings, in many different areas, that I had within me, but that my lack of philosophical culture prevented me from expressing clearly (for once I am not sure I am clear). And what a joy to chat among friends while being able to raise the debate (it seems pretentious, but that is not the sense in which I say it) to have relevant remarks. Your call for humility in happiness started a great conversation with my main concert partner which allowed us to move forward in the reflection on our work as a group and especially our pedagogical work (it is much more effective than hours of rehearsals...). Likewise, your call for responsibility in the healing of the world has consolidated and motivated me further in my (modest) way of wanting to change certain things. Your readings boost the optimism and happiness that I hope to carry within me and especially to transmit to those around me. I write this without trying to flatter you, but with great sincerity, because I think (in all my simplicity) that one of the greatest faults is not daring to say things.

Monday, August 18, 2014 – Gabb – THANK YOU! 🙂 )))
I discovered you through L'Ame du monde , and can only thank you, sincerely and deeply.
You simply express the essence of my most recent "discoveries" in matters of spirituality, those which open up to the world and to others, those above all which have contributed to revealing the true inner Joy that each one carries within themselves. An essential step in the realization of Each One. Like a precious gift, I will offer your book to my dearest friends, wishing them the same Happiness that lives within me now. For the revelation of all these suns, and for what you will continue to do, I can only say THANK YOU! 🙂 )))

Friday, August 15, 2014 – Anabelle – Thank you
I discovered The Soul of the World last year and it is now my bedside book; this reading was enriched by Happiness… and the Little Treatise on Inner Life ; your books translate what I felt or “knew” at 20 years old but that the race of life made me forget. I join your other readers in thanking you for sharing your knowledge and your philosophy with us.

Tuesday, August 12, 2014 – Higgs68 – About your two works
Good evening Sir, after reading How Jesus Became God , which I was enthusiastic about and which I devoured in two days, as I seemed to make so many discoveries about the history of Christianity, I have just finished reading Christ the Philosopher , which I enjoyed just as much.
Special mention for the epilogue of this last work, in which I found somewhere a beautiful summary of my own Christian faith. Yes, the message of Christ, distorted or diverted for centuries by official bodies, is revolutionary and current. I completely share your analysis of chapter 4 of the Gospel of John, where Jesus delivers to a simple Samaritan woman, one of the most extraordinary messages of the entire NT. Thank you for your remarkable work…

Tuesday, August 5, 2014 – Anne Montillot (Carry-le-Rouet, 13) – A Short Treatise on Inner Life
My gaze fell on your book, the last copy lost on a shelf. It was intended for me, and I saw it as a sign inviting me to take it back with me. I immersed myself in reading it, during this tormented period of my life, and each page was a step toward the knowledge and healing of my soul. Peace, serenity, and confidence inhabit me more and more. It is a door that has opened onto inner truth and understanding. I am passing this book on to all those around me so that they, in turn, may approach a path that is taking shape thanks to reading this book. The school education we receive should begin from a very young age with these teachings, and the world would suffer less. Mr. Lenoir, you are a wonderful messenger, and through your experience and your path, you allow us to open certain doors on our own path. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us.

Friday, August 1, 2014 – Philippe – New Age
Frédéric Lenoir, in “Nouvelles Clés”
“The essential problem with syncretism in the current and/or theosophical sense is that the ontological foundations of traditions have been deliberately omitted because the spiritual soil is demanding… The Spirit is not content to surf the wave, it wants to go deeper, to re-cogni-ze the roots of the beautiful tree and its fruits…”
The other major problem is the confusion between spiritual activity and lucrative activity… Everything is connected, but not everything is equal!
And whatever the “good intention”, that is not the point (that is an adage of personal development) where there is only an objective of improving well-being and in no case a desire for transcendence. The object is indeed: "the opening of consciousness" to what we are, as Socrates reminds us... Without transcendence, there is no spirituality (which is obviously not limited to noble traditions). On the other hand, we are invaded by a mishmash where confusion reigns supreme!

Thursday, July 24, 2014 – Papadoudou Diouf (Bordeaux, 33) – Thank you!
Hello Sir, I simply wanted to thank you for sharing your experience with the Little Treatise on Inner Life . This book has helped me so much in times of doubt and depression. Sometimes a book helps you when others fail to provide support… I look forward to discovering other books and a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to who you are. Yours.

– Zaza (Montigny-lès-Metz, 57) – Thrillers Good evening, as I regularly visit second-hand booksellers, I came across your book L'oracle della Luna . I first read the summary and said to myself "I'm going to like this...". I opened the book that same evening and couldn't put it down... I devoured it. I then read La parole perdue (The Lost Word) , the same thing, pure bliss!! All I have left to do is find La promesse de l'ange (The Promise of the Angel ), the icing on the cake. The books are fascinating, gripping and educational. I knew you as a philosopher, having read Petit traité de vie intérieure (Small Treatise on Inner Life) , and I watch you when you appear on the show "C'est dans l'air" on France 5, and there, by chance, I discovered another side of the writer. Eager to discover other thrillers... Kind regards

– Catherine – Faroe Islands and Carnage Dear Frédéric, I listened to your program today about animals. I wanted to share with you an interesting observation for us, unfortunately not for the marine animals in Danish waters. I spent 6 weeks in the Faroe Islands and I watched with horror a whale hunt one day in July. I subsequently read local articles that were against this ritual hunt. While experiencing this day where we ask ourselves (even) more questions about Man and his relationship with nature, I realized that if we observe the statistics of Faroese hunts since the last century, the number of animals killed is much higher in recent years (+ 180 in one day when I was there) and this is not at all "normal" and this raises protest movements among young Danes. And do you know what gives these hunts such a terrible scale? The cell phone!!! At the beginning of the century, when a few specimens were in sight, the island's fishermen took their harpoons and killed a smaller number of cetaceans, but today, and I witnessed this surge, when a school is announced, people pick up their phones and call out to everyone. As a result, the men get into their vehicles, take the ferry and all gather at point X... A "madness" that we suddenly feel arrive in these peaceful worlds of sheep and which creates an effervescence that leads to a massacre that is no longer "standardized" but senseless and useless. I still have the images of this carnage and still feel sad and helpless. Have a good week and thank you to you and Mrs. Anvar.

Thursday, June 26, 2014 – Véronique – Commentary
I have just finished How Jesus Became God , which I found fascinating. Catholic by tradition and upbringing, atheist for 40 years, I rediscovered the expressions of faith from my childhood that I had repeated at Mass for 17 years without really understanding their linguistic and canonical meaning.
Before reading your book, I read Simon Schama's History of the Jews , which deals with the history of the Jews from 1,000 BC to the fifth century AD, and your two books form a fascinating panoply of the evolution of the three monotheistic religions. Having studied medieval (400 AD to 1400 AD) Western history at the University of York (GB), I knew little about the history of the Middle East for the same period, and your book and Schama's filled in many gaps. I especially like your comment that after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD the Pharisees went west and the Judeo-Christians went east. When will there be a comparative study of the Christian and Islamic religion?

– Sylvie – The Soul of the World Hello Mr. Lenoir, your book The Soul of the World was given to me by one of my best friends, and after reading it, it is one of the most beautiful gifts I have received. Your words have enriched me, made me grow, moved me, made me think, and even sometimes made me cry, so much did they touch me with happiness and love. I take great pleasure in rereading passages, often. Your words accompany me. I, in turn, offered The Soul of the World to a loved one, like a relay charged with spirituality to be passed on. My sincere thanks.

– Jac (Alsace) – The Oracle of the Moon Bravo for this beautiful work, I was transported by this story, and learned so many
details and explanations about religions. I can't wait for the next novel, thank you for these beautiful evenings in your company.

Saturday, June 14, 2014 – Catherine – The Promise and The Word
Hello Sir, I have just reread The Angel's Promise and The Lost Word . I am once again under the spell of your stories and the places I know (except Pompeii). I have (re)discovered the places and the characters with new details and sensations. When will the next one be released? I know that mythical and mystical places like these are not legion, but…
Thank you to you and Madame Cabesos.

Monday, June 9, 2014 – Anoushka – Novels
Hello, I first discovered your work as a philosopher. Your novels are so beautiful. The Oracle of the Moon , moving and magnificent fresco. The Angel's Promise , after hesitation, to my great surprise, captivating, strange, disturbing. Mont Saint Michel is truly a magical place. I realized that Christian places that I had crossed - even trivial and by chance - have surprisingly marked my life. In fact, I hadn't read a novel for ages, let alone a thriller! brrr... The Secret , a marvel... After closing this book, I burst into tears. This hadn't happened to me since "La Petite Fadette" by Sand, which I read when I was thirteen. The tree on the cover is that of one of my favorite paintings.

These novels are extraordinary, unforgettable, true and alive and contain bursts of beautiful poetry. There is as much philosophy, spirituality and wisdom as in your other works... Difficult life, five years of psychotherapy... a little tai chi, yoga, art, nature always... Currently in a spiritual crisis, searching for my path, I was a little torn between Buddhism discovered nine years ago and Christianity rediscovered late and since a small event that occurred in the summer of 2012. So your various books are for me, enlightening readings, precious source of reflection, discovery, appeasement and joy on my path. Looking forward to other books. Thank you for all this happiness. A haiku for you:

Black cat on the wall
floating daffodil path
enchanted hovel

I really like the pictures on your new blog.
Have a great vacation and a wonderful summer.

– Jean-Jacques Perinaud – Happiness HAPPINESS ? HAPPINESS! Yes, thank you for this beautiful book that takes care of the reader, with kindness and respect, in order to allow them to discover the happiness that we all carry within ourselves. Obviously, it is not given to everyone to access it easily! But this book helps to show the paths, and delivers an optimistic message; we can all get there.

– Agnès Juste Thank you for these hours of invigorating reading.

– Audo Beautiful new site! Lively, airy, which takes the mind on a journey…
I discovered Indian philosophy via your show with Leili which, as always (the show), allows you to take a moment, listen, learn and reflect a little in a daily life which sometimes goes a little too fast… Thank you all.

– Laurence – Short message Hello Frédéric, I discovered you on a well-known show “La Parenthèse Unexpecté” and I decided to read you. Incidentally, I would also invite you to listen to you speak. I am not a fountain of knowledge, but you surprised me, and that is not the word I wanted to say to you; in fact, I do not know how to express myself very well. Finally, I admire your past, your journey, and listening to you, I am fascinated by the calm and wisdom that you exude. I have just finished reading Petit traité de vie intérieure (A Little Treatise on Inner Life) , you have enriched my soul. I loved it and learned a lot, and I am going to try to apply things that speak to me. Now, I am going to read La promesse de l'ange (The Promise of the Angel ).

– Viviane Hello Frédéric, after years and years of inner research (I am 57 years old) your books bring me a breath of fresh air with your simple words and their very structured composition (this somewhat sums up my experience and also my expectations in relation to a world that seems to be made up mainly of children or adolescents) sometimes you slip in snippets of your personal life that are interesting.
Your novels are delicious. Your hyper-mediatization is beneficial for all those who are not lucky enough to be readers…
The world needs real philosophers like you to help it “heal”, only “happiness”!!…

– Sophie – On Happiness, a Philosophical Journey I am currently at a point in my life where everything is going to change. I have written a lot to ease my thoughts. I was not familiar with your works and the book On Happiness, a Philosophical Journey attracted me, I read it with great pleasure because I rediscovered much of my way of living and being. I have not studied for long, nor have I ever studied philosophy, but I think that happiness can be innate and that when we are lucky enough to be fundamentally happy, problems are less heavy to bear. Reading you has brought me a lot of comfort and helps me move forward with my projects. Thank you.

– Pyl Hello Mr. Lenoir, I have read several of your books, including The Healing of the World and Socrates, Jesus, Buddha . I find your works remarkable; they are a great pleasure to read. I admire your work and I hope that you will continue to share your knowledge and your great open-mindedness with us for a long time to come. Thank you.

– Danielle – Lemps (07) – Thank you for your book, Petit traité de vie intérieure – 1st part of the message. I listen to Europe 1 radio and it was in Doctor Jean-François Lemoine's program "Why Doctor?" in which you took part several times that I discovered you.
Without knowing your image, I was struck by the calm, gentleness, serenity and confidence that emanated from your words. You also mentioned the publication of your book "Petit traité de vie intérieure" in paperback, which I wanted to discover. I only buy paperback versions because they fit my budget and also allow me to annotate them, to underline certain passages, a habit from my school years. I have just turned the last page and I really appreciated it. It seems to me that everyone knows what you write. We know it, more or less well, intellectually, the most difficult, I think, is to put it into practice.
Everything seems so clear and obvious: trust in life, which reminds me of a quote from Seneca, an author you refer to several times in your book: "if you want life to smile at you, first bring it your good humor", do not get attached to material goods and especially do not believe that their possession will make you happier, quite the contrary.
It is also comforting (at least for me) when you say that we should not feel guilty about owning goods (a house for example) and that it is also our duty to take care of them, it is true that we sometimes tend to feel guilty, the main thing is not to make it a goal but a means of living more serenely. Also relieved to see that there is no need to suffer, to practice asceticism, abstinence to be rewarded, to have the right to happiness. Like you, I believed that you had to be "a bit" masochistic to achieve happiness, to suffer first to be rewarded later (a relic of my Christian education perhaps) but it is true that you feel bad...

Friday, May 16, 2014 – Danielle – Lemps (07) – Thank you for your book, A Short Treatise on Inner Life – Part 2
… in complete asceticism, constantly under tension, constantly paying attention.
I also share your opinion on the difficulty of not becoming attached to the people we love and appreciate, as the Buddhist message would have it (impermanence of things). Concretely, as a human being, I do not think, moreover, and unfortunately, that it is possible to feel nothing. I write unfortunately because being sensitive in our current world is far from being a quality and causes a lot of suffering. I too often have the impression that human beings are comparable to crabs in a trap, the biggest, the toughest climbing on the weakest to survive… It would be better to be a machine, without a heart, who does not ask questions, who goes on his way without worrying about what is happening around him!
Your words also on all these little things that bring so much joy and especially the importance of nature where more and more, I find comfort, serenity far from the tumult of the current world that I understand less and less and too hard, mean ...
I reread this message and I realize that it is not very well "arranged". I would have liked to put all my joy and thanks for your book there, sincerely.

– Awakening – Give an opinion I really liked Happiness, a Philosophical Journey and the Little Treatise on Inner Life which allow you to reflect on the meaning of life and to progress spiritually by setting positive goals.

Tuesday, May 13, 2014
– Nathalie – Arigato Thank you for accompanying me on the path through your writings…

Monday, May 12, 2014 – Jean-Luc – Note
Hello, I read The Philosopher of Christ . It is a good clarification on the difference between religion and spirituality. But it does not explain what spirituality is. Christ, at least in his gospels, does not explain anything specific and remains very vague. I am also very surprised by your lack of knowledge about Eastern spirituality, thinking that monotheism is absent. This is a big mistake. The East did not wait for the Jews to speak of a supreme personal God. You only have to read the Bhagavad Gita to be sure of this. The only originality of Judaism at the time is to advocate a fanatical exclusive monotheism (this is indeed the mark of the egocentric Western spirit). This is precisely what Jesus denounces.

Monday, May 12, 2014 – Annie (Toulouse) – A discovery
I am deeply moved by what you are sharing. I use “little treatise on inner life” which never leaves me, as soon as I am in a waiting position (appointment, bus…) I have it in front of my eyes. My little “speech” will reach the others and like the others I want to believe that mine is more sincere, stronger… in short that you will attach more importance to it.
It doesn’t matter in the end, the main thing is that I can say Thank you for the good times that I spend “with you” and also that I spend with myself thanks to you.
Have a good and beautiful day Mr. Lenoir.

Friday, May 9, 2014
A philanthropic work… therapeutic… Dear Frédéric, you have changed my life. Thank you so much for writing to us with such intelligence and heart.

Monday, April 28, 2014 – Jenny – Thank you
Like others, I didn't know you at all, but I pleasantly discovered you in the fabulous show of another Frédéric, "la parenthèse inconnue". You attracted me with the curiosity to know who you were, you surprised me with such ease in saying things that we feel deep inside, you soothed me with your words. I was a great reader as a teenager, but with my busy life I no longer find the time, or I don't give myself the time... But now it's decided, I'm running to the bookstore to look for Happiness. All this to say a big thank you for existing, and for bringing this calm just by looking at you and listening to you. Stay who you are. Thank you

– Gabriel (gflapointe@gmail.com) – Montreal Hello Mr. Lenoir, I just finished reading your “Petit traité d'histoire des religions” and I must tell you that I admire your work. It is exactly the kind of reading I was looking for to fuel my reflections. I agree with you in the analytical perspective you adopt, which for me does justice to the phenomena and institutions you describe while making them accessible. I particularly liked your conclusion, which expressed even more clearly what I myself sensed about the evolution of religions, religion, and God. It is a book that has enriched me, and for that I thank you. I also read “Socrates, Jesus, and Buddha” 3-4 years ago, and I really liked the connection. I also lent this book to my aunt, who grew up in the Catholic world of Quebec in the 1950s but who later started looking elsewhere, such as Buddhism, which she describes as the religion that most resonates with her. In any case, I think she will benefit from it. So thank you and good luck!

– Frédérique – A Short Treatise on Inner Life Hello, two years ago, one of my daughters bought the magazine Psychologies and left me a little book given with it: “A Short Treatise on Inner Life” excerpt – Psychologies Favorites. I left this little booklet on my bedside table for a long time but I didn’t read it. I then put it away in my bookcase without reading it. I don’t know why. I spent a long time without wanting to read.
This morning, I still don’t know why, I went to my bookcase and took this little booklet with excerpts from “A Short Treatise on Inner Life .” I discovered a magnificent summary of the path to follow to access inner peace, which allows you to taste happiness. I have seen you sometimes on television, Frédéric Lenoir, and I had already noticed your kindness. Kindness is not the first quality of people appearing in the media in general, so I notice them. It seems to me that you are inhabited by a deep faith. This is also the luck I have today after a long period of skepticism. For a long time, my experiences and events made me doubt the greatness of humanity. At the age of about 10, I cried in catechism when I saw what was done to Jesus of Nazareth, who was so good to others. I didn't understand why, as a little girl. I understood it much later. Afterwards, I didn't understand why women and men, even in my family, could hurt me so much. It took me many years to understand it and to forgive them too. That was the hardest part: forgiving those who didn't see or understand that they were hurting me.
Today, after a long inner journey... I have this great luck to be at peace and happy. So, I must thank all those who have allowed me to get to this point, and there are many of them. Congratulations also to you, Frédéric Lenoir, for writing such beautiful things.

Friday, April 25, 2014 – Alexis – Thank you.
Discovered in “The Unexpected Parenthesis,” you managed to get a sportsman and rationalist like me to read a book, and one about philosophy (A Little Treatise on Inner Life), and above all, to make me like it. It will help me a lot. Simply thank you, you can be proud of what you do. Good luck.

Monday, April 21, 2014 – Cécile – THANK YOU Thank you Frédéric for your books, a source of happiness. I offer your books like an outstretched hand through your words... towards the quest for happiness, for enlightenment, for a star... for smiles, for beauty... a beautiful gesture... that I owe you... with all my sincere friendship.

Sunday, April 20, 2014 – Anoushka – Francis the Spring of the Gospel
Dear Mr. Lenoir, I was also very pleasantly surprised, delighted by the election of this new Pope, in whom one already feels a great, great humanity and a lot of natural simplicity. As soon as I saw him, I said to myself, moreover, that I really like the face of Pope Francis. I haven't read the Gospels, you know, but I realized while reading, that I had been reading them for a long time through you, and it made me laugh with joy. You quote many passages to give the essential content of the message, of the pontificate of Francis and one feels all the energy of your heart. I find myself dreaming of a meeting between His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as other great sages of various religions and Pope Francis. Wow! I've had a rather hard life, and it's mainly artistic activity, reading, music that have sustained me and opened my mind. I don't usually go to churches, but recently I went to see an exhibition by Fra Angelico of Florence in a church. I only go there to see an exhibition or concert on occasion. Ah, if I wanted to attend a midnight mass, two years ago, hearing the very beautiful bells. Needing joy, warmth, for a moment... I slipped into a frozen crowd... cold and dark first words of a sermon, sins, etc. Heavy, long speech. I told myself that I had the wrong address, the wrong house, that God must be outside the door, I went back out into the street, as discreetly as I had entered. But God was indeed in each of these people standing, it's just that the embers of their hearts seemed a little extinguished, the breath of the Gospel was missing on the ashes. You know the story of Saint Francis of Assisi and the almond tree... Pope Francis already communicates the clarity that revives, breaks the ice, deploying the inspiring wave for all... Thank you for your works, for your gaze and your smile.

Saturday, April 19, 2014 – Marie Anne – Thank you
After a professional experience during which I almost lost myself, I decided to refocus on what was essential. Of course, I left my job, but I found myself again, and that is priceless. Like you, I have strong convictions and I see my job as a calling, but the working world in which I practice it has become a very harsh world, and I believe that it is my role as a Human Resources professional to bring a little cohesion and humanity into the productive mechanics of the company in order to create a virtuous circle, more humanity, for greater efficiency, for greater productivity. But for that, it takes time, and time is the lifeblood of business. You have to know how to say no, and to oppose is to risk being excluded at any moment. You have to know how to be diplomatic and political, but without giving up your values. Under the pretext of integration, I wanted to conform, under the pretext of good understanding, I almost forgot the meaning I gave to my job, for fear of being excluded, I kept silent for a while, but I had the courage to take back my freedom. In the current context, our profession can be easily destructive. Guarantor of 2 values which can be contradictory, I no longer count the number of damaged HR around me, but I also had the chance to meet some of those who did not give up because they knew how to preserve themselves. Your Treatise on Inner Life puts the essential into perspective. You have to know how to take care of yourself, take time for yourself in a world where we are not given any, you have to know how to impose this time. I also had a lot of pleasure in reconnecting with the philosophy of my 18 years. You also put words on my conception of Catholicism, yes you can be a believer, even practicing and not share everything. Thank you for this breath of freedom. Keep it up.

Thursday, April 17, 2014 – Nadine – Reconciliation with reading and a part of myself
Hello, I was given your book The Soul of the World for Christmas. I'm not a very big reader, I admit. The book stayed in my bedside drawer for a while, weeks, you could say months. I'm a lady-almost-like-everyone else: a family, a job, I'm satisfied with my life as a whole. I have a certain flaw, among others, that I can't get rid of: excessive honesty, and I can't seem to pretend. This prevents me from fulfilling myself in my work and somewhat influences my personal life: I hold to certain principles and values that my management doesn't share. In short, I spend a lot of time in meetings that I find counterproductive since in the end, we spend more time criticizing what others are or aren't doing than discussing the improvements we could make: it's boring, especially since I make it known that I don't adhere to this practice. Moreover, managers (I'm speaking for myself) have a very good ability to transform their mistakes or those of the team into quasi-successes. I feel uncomfortable 5 days out of 7. I could change employers, but I just did, a year ago. Last week, I tidied my drawer and looked at your book for a long time before opening it. Reading your book came at the right time: at a time when I asked myself a lot of questions to take stock of myself. Reading this book reconciled me with reading and with myself. So, this is a book that gave me all the serenity I needed. This book is yours, and I wanted to share all the good it brought me. I wish you the best. Best regards.

Sunday, April 13, 2014 – LiliBee – The Unexpected Parenthesis
Hello everyone, I am also responding to “The Unexpected Parenthesis,” a show where the deep nature of the guests is revealed… it is all the more telegenic because it is rooted in a great awareness/reflection on oneself, of course, but especially on human mechanisms. Frédéric Lenoir, speaking of his father, or rather of his father’s unconscious reflex which consisted of “scrubbing him,” used the psychoanalytic term “paradoxical injunction”… a real trigger… Thank you for exploring the folds of human nature to help us navigate this strange existence!

Sunday, April 13, 2014 – Dominique – Belgium
Hello! A strange encounter during Frédéric Lopez's show, an unexpected interlude... it was unexpected for me when you shared your encounter with the Bible, with the Gospel... you had barely begun to express yourself when I began to shiver, my "hairs" stood on end and I began to cry... I knew what you had encountered, I encountered the same hope. I don't have the same opportunities as you to meet people of other religions, but I know that the Gospel pushes me to be interested in others and to respect differences. Thank you for sharing all this with us! And already, a good and joyful Easter.

Friday, April 11, 2014 – Alexandra (alexandra.bartoli2a@orange.fr) – Meditation
I had the opportunity to listen to you on Ruquier's show "On n'est pas couché" and I liked you. But where I really liked you was in "La Parenthèse inconnue". Wonderful show. Frédéric Lopez brings together people who have different life paths, they open up with emotion and sincerity, I think, and it's simply wonderful. I try not to miss this show which moves me, makes me think, and can inspire me. And listening to you, I simply want to meditate. I know it's hard when you do it alone, but I think it's worth trying. Your journey is simply wonderful, and I'm going to discover your book now that I've discovered you a little. I like to listen and understand. Contact is essential for me in a world that is, despite everything, selfish and intolerant. I hope to see you soon.

Wednesday, April 9, 2014 – Sonia – Let's be original: thank you!
Yet another testimony on this page for your participation in the show "La parenthèse Inattendue," which I watched twice because there was so much to hear. I already knew you through many of your books, and I have already contacted you, but this time I was able to listen to you. I would agree with some readers in saying that after watching the show I felt at peace, I recognized myself half in Amel Bent's journey and half in yours. This interlude was rich in lessons and positive because it guarantees hope for a better life as long as we hang on and search for ourselves. I hope to end up finding myself, in any case this show has proven to me that we can get there. So for all that and for your journey that you share... thank you

Hello, I saw you on F. Lopez's show 'La Parenthèse Unexpecté', which allowed me to get to know you better and discover your philosophy of life and happiness. Just like the guests who accompanied you, you showed us that we create our own existence and we all have potential to exploit and express. The path you have already taken is rich in humanity and beautiful encounters and experiences, and indeed, "paradise is other people." It's up to each of us to want it.

Wednesday, April 9, 2014 – Marie-Antoinette – Thank you
Hello Frédéric, I would simply like to say thank you for these wonderful books that you write. I have done a little bit of this work myself, which consists of discovering oneself, and your books help me even more on this path. I also saw the program Entre Parenthèse Que Du Happiness, it makes me really want to meet you. What I would like today: to meet people who have taken even a little bit of this path and who know that happiness is deep within each of us and who share it! Today I want to introduce you, and I will simply allow people who do not know you to discover you, because you are a person with a beautiful interior, and who deserves to be known. Thank you for what you give without knowing it, for helping your readers move forward. Have a beautiful day and may life still have many beautiful things in store for you.

Tuesday, April 8, 2014 – André Micoud – Rive-de-Gier (42) – Thanks
Hello, I have just finished reading Petit traité de la vie Intérieure (Short Treatise on the Inner Life ), which my granddaughter gave me for my birthday (69). I simply wanted to thank you for writing it; it is simple, accessible to the greatest number of people, and at the same time imbued with great sincerity. It was not easy to include personal testimonies, and I really liked the way you managed to do it. I would like to recommend that you read, if you are not already familiar with it, a little-known book by my friend Bruno LATOUR, also a Catholic: Jubiler, ou les tourments de la parole religieuse (Jubiler, or the Torments of Religious Speech), published in 2002 by Les Gardezs de penser en rond / Le Seuil. That's all, thank you again for the pleasant reading experience you gave me. I will recommend this little viaticum to those around me... Sincerely, AM, sociologist, honorary research director of the CNRS, Catholic (not very practicing)

Tuesday, April 8, 2014 – Isabelle La ptite chouette – Pleasure of the senses
I have read you, I have listened to you, I have seen you and it is only happiness every time. You know how to approach subjects of Life and share with others your point of view, which allows us to understand, move forward, enrich ourselves. I appreciate you very much, you make me want to explore my inner Self a little more each day. I have a wish: write us a meditation manual, I am sure that you will make more people happy. Thank you Frédéric!

After reading several of your books, I discovered you in “la parenthèse inconnue”. What a beautiful moment of sharing and listening… Simple things, within everyone’s reach… What happiness… Your books have guided me and allowed me to go through life more serenely and for that I wanted to say thank you…

Monday, April 7, 2014 – unetazdecafe – Thank you!
I had already heard of you. I discovered you in “La Parenthèse Unexpecté” by Frédéric Lopez this week. I recognized myself in you, your words touched me… Thank you! I can’t wait to dive into reading your books…

Sunday, April 6, 2014 – Nathalie – Serenity
Hello, I watched and listened to you on the show “La Parenthèse inconnue” (Unexpected Interlude), and I really enjoyed it. I read your books, and it made me want to dive back into Petit traité de vie intérieure (A Little Treatise on Inner Life ). You do a lot of good. Thank you.

Sunday, April 6, 2014 – Thierry
You are a beautiful person, and counting you as a friend must already contribute to happiness.

Saturday, April 5, 2014 – Brigitte – The Roots of Heaven
Good evening, I've just discovered your website... I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you warmly for your show on France Culture. I don't miss a single one. And even better, I regularly listen to them as podcasts (technology has its good points, too). Thanks again.

Friday, April 4, 2014 – Quikounette – The Unexpected Interlude
I have been a fan of yours since reading the Little Treatise on Inner Life , which I have already given to at least 10 people around me, and which really helped me to set foot on the path to zenitude. I have started Happiness, a Philosophical Journey , which you dedicated to me at the FNAC…. and I am moving forward step by step on the path to Joy. As you say so well, “I don’t get there every day,” but I persevere with determination. I already appreciate you very much for the serenity and joy of living that you exude and that we find in your writings and that I was able to feel by exchanging a few words with you during the signing session… the unexpected interlude was, for once, an expected and enchanted interlude for me…. I really rediscovered your simplicity, the ease with which you convey the essential with simple and accurate words that touch. Thank you to Frédéric Lopez for having the good idea of inviting you. I know more about you and you surprised me once again with your atypical journey. You have quite a destiny!! Thank you for sharing it with us. I really appreciated your few words on Pope Francis. And thank you for your sunny smile that I found in the photo of your book on Happiness. I hope to wear the same one day….

Friday, April 4, 2014 – Corinne – Acknowledgments
About two years ago, following one of your conferences at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, I met a man with a well-made head and without a big head. I had confirmation of this on the television program "La parenthèse inconnue" this week. It was very pleasant. Thank you for giving us, through your books, keys to access happiness, in particular, to know ourselves well and then choose the life that suits us (which I try to practice). Thank you also for giving me the desire, through, for example, your book On Happiness, a Philosophical Journey , to rediscover the writings of Epicurus, Spinoza or Montaigne. In conclusion, you are a true ray of sunshine, full of love and compassion for beings. Thank you Frédéric.

– Tue. – None, except While walking around Uccle, passing in front of a café window, I noticed a small slate. The one our grandparents used in class. And it said: "No wifi here: we talk live." That's heartwarming and makes you think... .-) Kind regards

Friday, April 4, 2014 – PurpleHeart68 – Geneva (Switzerland) – Observation…
I have been reading you regularly since 2004 and your investigation, with Marie-France Etchegoin, into Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code … Some people around me have spoken to me about your “performance” in “The Unexpected Parenthesis” which supposedly gives birth to the souls of famous people. I am delighted that the public service is helping to make you known to other potential readers, and happy at the idea of sharing with them your commitments, your teaching… This reconciles me with a certain kind of television!

Friday April 4, 2014 – Violette – The Unexpected Parenthesis Show
During the show “The Unexpected Parenthesis”, I discovered your journey which touched me a lot and the way you spoke about it too, as if you were a little out of balance with yourself, having yet another depressive episode, your testimony did me good, and the way you listened to the other guests (who are also very nice!), recently I was given your book Happiness, a Philosophical Journey , I will read it with great interest, thank you 🙂

Friday, April 4, 2014 – Nathalie – Upheaval
Hello, I didn't know you and came across you on the show "La parenthèse inconnue". What a pleasure to listen to you! The simplicity and well-being that you exude are contagious! This morning my curiosity led me to your site and I am listening to your conference on happiness... You put into words everything that I have always felt, it is disturbing... I regret not having known you before and I think I am going to devour all your books...! If all human beings could be contaminated by the common sense and love that you transmit, it would be... Happiness! Thank you for brightening up my day!

Thursday, April 3, 2014 – Jacquie – Parenthèse
I watch very little TV and last night while channel-surfing, I came across “La parenthèse inconnue” on which you were one of the three guests. I was very moved by this show. I read your books which help me a lot on my spiritual path. And of course I soaked up your words last night. I really liked the other two guests, including Jean Reno whose sensitivity we discovered and Amel Bent, this young singer so fresh and natural. From your three presences, I can say that I saw a quality show on TV which captivated me, the likes of which we unfortunately rarely see…. Frédéric, I simply wanted to say thank you… After the show, I felt a gentle warmth invade me which is perhaps only the feeling of true love… I remembered your sentence at the end: “Paradise is other people” and I really want to soak it up…. THANKS…

Thursday, April 3, 2014 – Mauricette – Saint Jouin Bruneval (76) – Gratitude
I discovered you 10 years ago. Through your book “The Promise of the Angel” which fascinated me, I returned to Mont Saint Michel, took a guide etc… Since then I devour your books. The only thing I can’t do is meditate… I can’t let go of my thoughts… You must write a manual for initiation to meditation… Thank you again

Thursday, April 3, 2014 – Cococouleur – A Little Treatise on Inner Life
I am grateful for the impulse to acquire this little book that came to me while I was wandering around the bookstore shelves of the FNAC while waiting for my partner. Frédéric Lenoir, you were unknown to me until now. You write so accurately what I think, what I feel, and so clearly that I feel the desire, and even the need, to offer A Little Treatise on Inner Life to my friends and also to certain members of my family, with whom I disagree, to make them understand what I am striving for. I have so much progress to make… Thank you!

Thursday, March 27, 2014 – Gianny – Sharing experience poem written on May 26, 1985
I say thank you Happiness is given Often alone facing our dreams Torn, tormented by our demons All inclined to raise the sword For glory, hatred also passion, “Always tempted, attracted by the impossible Sure to reach the maximum of the possible” Even in error, the irreparable by extension We lull ourselves with chimeras, illusions, Faith, love will be right Of these adventures of little horizon Let us give meaning to our short life In pure feelings even at will, Without being a saint, I can love Adore because I will be a little forgiven Humble of my condition as a man My existence will emerge from the shadows, In a beam, the light furrows Pierces my heart from which resounds A serious song, my soul shivers With happiness that my selfish body imprison, In ecstasy my spirit detaches itself, abandons itself, flies into the firmament, surrenders itself and gives itself.

Sunday, March 23, 2014 – JPFE554 – Book: A Short Treatise on Inner Life
I have just read your book for the first time. I found this book easy to read and full of good advice. Thank you very much. Regards.

Friday, March 14, 2014 – Nathalie – God
for this magnificent book which simply allows us to return to the essentials of God.

Friday, March 14, 2014 – Déef – Stuckange (57) – Tears of happiness
Obviously, I have been reading you for a very long time and I never tire of your words. None of your texts have left me without personal reflection. I even discovered a salesman's soul by renting your books. And I must admit that I am quite proud to have introduced you to those around me. There are some juicy anecdotes to share on this subject. But it is something else that I wish to share with you. Recently, my daughter gave me a gift. It did not take me long to know that it was a book without even having unwrapped it. However, my surprise was twofold when I first discovered your book Du bonheur un voyage philosophique and then when I discovered that my daughter patiently waited in a long queue in Strasbourg for you to dedicate it to me. I am almost ashamed to write it, but I cried. At that precise moment, my happiness was total and, above all, uncontrollable. You are the first writer to have signed one of the many books in my library. Thank you for this moment of happiness experienced and shared following this very small message written on this blank page of your book, which I devoured and, above all, adored.

Thursday, March 13, 2014 – Alfala – A “happy” coincidence..
In moral and physical distress since (?).. one day, the frenetic and mechanical rhythm in which I was drowning my body got the better of my “physical” capacity to go to work, to be available to others.. my only driving force, being in the healthcare environment. I lost what remained of my feeling of full usefulness, of mastery… of (voluntary) forgetting of this little lonely me.. The stop overwhelmed me with anxieties.. to have time “for oneself”, to reconnect.. to wake up, to wake up.. And to face the “dominoes” of my life, scattered there, which I saw very clearly without feeling the strength and the ability to reorganize them to “remake” a reliable and harmonious construction, with solid foundations. "Chance" and I smile saying this word because does it really exist... wanted me to look for an author recommended by a friend... by a "missed mouse click" I discover your intervention-discussion on "Happiness".. I listen. I am absolutely struck from the start, by the accuracy of your words, questions and feelings depicted with of course broad knowledge, which take me out of a solitude of the "unprecedented"... Each existence is of course unique, but we are often in the illusion that we are "alone" to think "like that", to feel "that".. that we are overwhelmed by a thousand introspections which crush us while others, perhaps lighter, seem to live "so well"... This is how, you F. Lenoir, whom I did not know... have strongly "connected" me in a very broad sense to others, to the sensitive... you have sometimes touched my heart by evoking in your book the boundless Beauty of nature, everywhere. It is so true and precious to appreciate it. We feel stronger. After having completed your little treatise, the philosophy of Happiness is now with me everywhere... in my bag, in the sun, on a shared bench, facing a mirror pond... I do not know you and yet this chance encounter accompanies me in a simple appeasement, positive every day and in the moment, it nourishes me... "Thank you" for your words, for your tense lines.

Saturday, March 8, 2014 – Emerance – Giving meaning to your life
Frédéric Lenoir writes: “Being happy means learning to choose… your path, your job, your way of living and loving… Building a professional career, for example, requires that we identify an activity that suits us, in which we can flourish…”. Researchers at INSEE have shown that the overall life satisfaction index continues to decline from the ages of 20 to 50, rising significantly until the age of 70. But they don’t really have an explanation for this. Frédéric Lenoir, for his part, offers an explanation: the decline up to the age of 50 corresponds to the loss of illusions and the confrontation with the difficulties of adult life, the rise corresponds to the blossoming of maturity… we have sometimes rebuilt our existence on new values, on new desires. This is particularly the case for me professionally. For thirty years, I suffered the weight of my education, my academic orientation, my job stability and even more, the hierarchical power within the company to begin to wake up and detach myself around the age of 40 and finally seize an opportunity at 50 to escape my state of suffering. Does money buy happiness? Frédéric Lenoir writes: "Certainly, a minimum of money contributes to happiness, but the incessant pursuit of enrichment is just as harmful." Indeed, if I had not had money, I would not have been able to end my suffering. I also confirm that since I no longer earn money and invest myself in what I love, I am much happier, owing nothing in return to any employer! I strongly encourage those who read this article to get Frédéric Lenoir's book, which is a real life lesson, including quotes from great philosophers and links to different religions, another of Frédéric Lenoir's specialities: a work enriched with sociology and neuroscience, accessible to all.

Wednesday, March 5, 2014 – Anoushka – The Philosopher Christ
Hello Mr. Lenoir, thank you so much for this sublime, luminous book. But I don't know how to tell you the great happiness, the great joy it brings me. What I had sensed and what I was now only looking for in my heart, had always been there for so long. Our daily lives have been so impregnated, marked, but we perceive a light through the walls erected, all the clutter, the dust of the centuries. The true message and a true face reach us today... little by little... Due to difficult circumstances, my son was not baptized at birth, you see. But what was initially an offense by the respective in-laws, turned out to be a gift! of life! As young parents, we had concluded that he would choose his religion! So I am happy, even more so today for my son, because he will, in fact, choose freely in all conscience, full conscience. And know that I am gradually introducing your books into the life of this young man whose birthday it is this month. In addition to a few others of wisdom and meditation elsewhere. I am simply making a "bridge" so that he has a good background in this very tormented and difficult world. As for me, your books are part of my path, now and I am beginning to contemplate a little "the wells of infinite light of the sky". I will read the Gospels, one day, when the time comes... and a few philosophers, a little, here and there, Montaigne among others. But for now, as I am a tireless reader of books and often just for the pleasure of this solitary slowness of reading, against the world, in the gardens for this spring, I am starting Bashô, Issa, Shiki – For a philosophy of the moment – V. Brochard and P. Senk, a small paperback. You see, I can't get enough of it ha ha ha! Thanks for future readings.

Sunday, March 2, 2014 – Flan
Thank you for your teachings. I am Catholic and I appreciate your approach to spirituality. But you don't often talk about African beliefs and our way of understanding Christianity. I → French publishers do not work "directly" with foreign countries. You would therefore have to order from a local bookstore. Keep us informed!

Monday, February 24, 2014 – Caroline Claire – Thanks
For the past few months, as I have been going through a difficult time in my life, your books have been comforting companions, sometimes even lifelines… Thank you for what you share with us, for your authenticity and simplicity. 🙂

Monday, February 24, 2014 – Lauraline – La Rochelle (17) – Favorite!
I published today on my blog: “Ah, what an intelligent book! Which takes us on a walk hand in hand with the philosophers of happiness, following the author’s reflection on this magnificent word. We come across the great ancients, but also Montaigne, Spinoza, Schopenhauer, Westerners as well as Easterners, and we have a real pleasure in encountering their thinking, in passing it through the filter of our own. The continual advances in neuroscience also add fuel to the fire. To build one’s happiness, to live and keep the concept alive, there are two options: either, like traditional civilizations and others, we don’t ask questions and we live the moment in communion with nature, in respect for others, in sharing; or we look into it and, with the help of thinkers of all times, we advance in the (re)cognition of the concept. The words are defined, precise, the thought chiseled to refine its contours, a treat, I tell you! The author's thought process is fluid, extremely easy to follow and makes you want to note down a lot of sentences that "speak to us" throughout the reading. The other alternative is perhaps to regularly reread this little book, sparkling like bubbles of happiness!!! Thank you!

Thursday, February 20, 2014 – ginaspen – Thoughts and other states
Many thanks to Frédéric Lenoir for sharing his knowledge and inspirations. I would also like to share some inspirations, intuitions and personal observations that link Nature to God. Thoughts and other states… The three E’s, or, the Eternal Being Amazed Wonder delights the senses, Let your senses amaze your soul; May the sweet scent of a flower delight your spirit; May the rich and multiple colors of the plumage of the exotic bird, Light up your eyes with a rainbow, May its song revive your pleasure of being. Scrutinize the infinite Milky Way, You will read in your soul; Bathe your body in Nature, you are linked to It, It is the mirror of your being. Tell Man, though he be but a grain of sand, That he must live in harmony with his creator, For fear of jeopardizing his machinery And returning to the dust of darkness. Tell him, Man, that this miracle he named Eden Is also anchored in him, Just like the depths of the seas, the luxuriant forests, and the deserts of ice and sand; All these have fashioned your Being with their Essences. Observe, Immerse yourself in this astonishing Nature, Pay homage to her at every moment, for it is She who nurses you. Your fears, your desires, your wishes are only fleeting; From your body, from your soul, Eden will be nourished

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 – JFL – jf51160@orange.fr – Shared Conceptions Hello, I must first thank Frédéric Lenoir, for having the courage to express his conception of “life” as he feels it and finding the right words that translate his perception. For my part, it has been more than 40 years since my research led to the same perspective, through different readings and instructions, which allowed me to orient myself towards a common foundation for all religious, spiritual and intellectual orientations, which can be summed up as a form of tolerance and respect for everything that surrounds us, objects, life – mineral, vegetable, animal, human etc… With a deep certainty about the natural laws that animate them, biological, chemical, atomic, electrical, etc… Coming from a primary energetic movement, without which, nothing would have happened. But everyone is free to interpret it according to their own notion of understanding and evolution in their personal environment, with their own words. As far as I'm concerned, for the only pure movement of energy, which connects us all, in a natural way, I have found only one word to date that best translates it, it is "LOVE". Thank you again, Jean-François

Sunday, February 16, 2014 – Stéphane – Cloud Mapping I discovered you today, through The Healing of the World , a book that I appreciated and read with great thought. Thank you for sharing with us a world that I believe is capable of motivating itself to move forward, to move, despite the excess of power of far too many human beings and this materialism that overflows with its stupidity. I hope that we will not all be sheep as the media that govern us indicate and want us to believe. In this book, you end by suggesting "Avatar" by James Cameron, which I appreciated just like you, with what can show us an army of power where order reigns but also disorder because it has no human values. If I may, I would like to suggest you watch and add (too late) a second choice in "anticipatory visions" the film by Andy and Lana Wachowski and Tom Tykwer: "the mapping of the stars", "Cloud Atlas" by its English name. This film, one of the most beautiful that I have seen, in the message that it wishes to convey, is that there is Hope, because we are all connected, but we must find our way, but nothing can destroy Love. I will most certainly be one of your new fans. Thank you

Saturday, February 15, 2014 – Talant 21 – Testimonial
Thank you, thank you, I just finished your latest book! I read it with relish and finished with the desire to discover each of your other works, thank you.

Monday, February 10, 2014 – Delphine – Paris (75) – Thank you
A big thank you for the simplicity with which you describe the essential. My father gave me The Soul of the World for Christmas, it was a wonderful gift! And what a gift to discover your other works too, so clear and fair. What light. You share with us your quest so sincerely and so sincerely, so universally, and for that: thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sunday, February 9, 2014 – Claude – On Happiness, a Philosophical Journey
Hello, I read a lot of books and sometimes I come across one. While I discovered you on a radio show, my wife discovered you in a small bookstore: it was therefore time for us to read you. I started with The Soul of the World , which was pleasant, before embarking on reading about happiness. It was a revelation, not a discovery, no, I have already read many books on mindfulness, self-confidence, non-violent communication and the themes covered are not new, but they are treated so simply, so deeply, with gentleness and precision, that it was a pleasure to read it and I will reread it soon, taking the time that I have not given it for the moment. I thank you for this meeting and I hope to have others in your company (I have the impression of hearing you speak to me when I read you).

Wednesday, February 5, 2014 – Colette – Thank you
Thank you Frédéric Lenoir for this wonderful book The Soul of the World . It summarizes some of the books I read in this spiritual quest of mine. I recognized the little tales, the phrases of the Wise Men, and above all the universality of the words. I will surely reread it, perhaps learn it by heart, so good and sweet is it to my soul.

Sunday, February 2, 2014 – Annie
Monsieur Lenoir, I discovered you on radio and television only a few months ago! What a shame not to have known you sooner! A shortcoming on my part! It came just when I needed it and as a result, I was probably much more receptive to your contributions. In any case, I really enjoy listening to you; it does me a world of good. I researched online and discovered several of your books. I am currently reading the Little Treatise on Inner Life , an easy and beautiful philosophical approach for me, who is discovering you and who is a beginner in the field. I can't wait to buy your latest book and immerse myself in "HAPPINESS"! I am sure that I will be one of your future and loyal readers, listeners, and viewers!! See you soon.

Saturday, February 1, 2014 – Neldu01 – Bellignat (01) – Happiness, a philosophical journey
A huge THANK YOU Mr. LENOIR for writing for everyone, this book is a treat for me, simple truths that we should hear every day. That's exactly what I understood when I saw or heard you on December 25, 2013, I carefully noted to get one of your books, and someone with good intentions gave me this one. HAPPINESS, it is one to read it. And I would say it is worth therapy sessions, and all sorts of books on personal development. In fact, I would say that this one should be put in the hands of all people who no longer believe in anything, or who do not know where they are going. In search of the joy of living, it puts us back in our place, anchors us with our 2 feet on this earth that we inhabit. It cheered me up, and when I've finished it I'll reread it, and reread it until I smile from morning to night, finally, at life. Give this book to any sensitive, open-minded person, not necessarily intellectual, but who would like to leave the darkness in their head. This book is my ray of sunshine. I'll read your other works as soon as I've had my fill of this one, and have fully "digested" it. Happy reading to all. Best wishes.

Tuesday, January 28, 2014 – LRG – Florida – Acknowledgments
Bravo and thank you for the LITTLE TREATISE ON THE INNER LIFE which is a source of grace. Frédéric Lenoir has the soul quality of St. Paul.

Monday, January 27, 2014 – Vinca – Commentary
A short treatise on inner life, thank you for the remedy.

Wednesday, January 22, 2014 – José Luis Brun – Zaragoza (Spain) – Gratitude
Hello Mr. Lenoir, three or four years ago I discovered one of your books by chance in Bedous, a small village in the Aspe Valley in the Atlantic Pyrenees. It was How Jesus Became God , and afterward I bought the same book a second time as a gift for a friend who is a professor of Ancient Religions at the University of Zaragoza. And then I decided to become a faithful reader of your works. In one of your books you “advised” me to read Christian Bobin, and that’s why I rushed to buy several of his books. Thank you very much for your recommendation of Bobin. I agree with you. Now I am finishing your magnificent L'oracle della Luna because besides its didactic character, which I always like a lot in all books, it must be considered as an adventure novel where the author seeks to keep his reader in suspense. Frédéric, simply thank you.

Monday, January 20, 2014 – Anne – Grenoble (38) – The Roots of Heaven
Dear Frédéric, I'm not worried about the change in the schedule of The Roots of Heaven! Quite the opposite! What a joy to stay comfortably nestled in the pillows, the duvet tucked up, the day breaking behind the shutters and to let the day start gently while listening to you!! Thank you for your always interesting programs, which arouse curiosity and open up to other worlds! Thank you also to Leili, who accompanies you so well and shares her readings with us so well!

Saturday, January 18, 2014 – Danielle (pollux) – Recognition
Hello Mr. LENOIR, all my best wishes for 2014, and continue to please us with your books… I say a thousand THANKS… your books are a real treat, whether it’s the keys to the wise, or this famous philosophical journey. There is so much spirituality in your books! The BIBLE and you! It’s another dimension, it does good to the soul and the spirit. THANK YOU. It’s true, what is happiness? A flower? It loses its petals like a daisy, fragile and fickle, it gives itself to the wind! Receive my best thoughts… Danielle Sauter, danielle… pollux

Fri 17 Jan 2014 – Philippe Deliège (@estocadaPhil) – Brussels – Petit traité de vie intérieure
Hello Frédéric, how can I tell you? I discovered your speech, your ease on television sets (notably 50° nord produced by RTBF and ARTE), so I remembered your name, …, but found you so suited to the television format, … that something was holding me back from reading you, … or more precisely from devoting time to really discovering you… And then there you go, while strolling around the FNAC, I decided to buy Petit traité de vie intérieure , … at this moment, I haven't finished it yet, but I can't help but say thank you now. I have rarely read something so fluid that explains, synthesizes and illustrates Eastern and Western thoughts, ... I am almost ashamed to say thank you in a complicated way 😉 The only small downside that I would have to formulate is the lack of reference to Islam, which must probably be full of treasure. I say probably because it is a religion that we probably do not know enough about, even if for my part, I live in Brussels where this religion is very present, while remaining mysterious to me. It is just a remark, I understood that you were rather Christian ... and that you knew more about Eastern thoughts than Islam. ... for my part, I was raised by a Catholic mother, and an atheist father. My freedom of belief was for them an absolute and divine right, my mother therefore accepted my choice of life until the end of her life 😉 Thank you again Frédéric, and if it is still your choice, I would ask you to continue writing! Because selfishly, I need it.

Wednesday, January 8, 2014 – Elfette – Another vision of happiness
To share happiness, here is a link that I invite you and your readers to watch (perhaps you know it?), because it is 7 minutes 26 seconds of pure happiness, humor and intelligence: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iSc1h2RSr4 Enjoy and share – Happy New Year to all!

Tuesday, January 7, 2014 – Elfette – Just “that”…
In addition to an excellent 2014, I wish you all the happiness in the world! Thank you for existing – I never tire of reading your works which bring a real breath of humanist oxygen to this world which is less and less so! PS Someone wrote that you treat the French as people on welfare – for your information, I am on welfare (much against my will) but at 54, it is becoming very difficult to find a job – and yet, I dream of being able to work again… As a result, your books are a great help to me in helping me cope with my condition – so much so that I have also decided to write an essay and in some way, you are “responsible” for this desire! But shh! If I manage to get it published one day, I will let you know…

Monday, January 6, 2014 – Anoushka – Happiness
Happy New Year 2014 Mr. Lenoir. I read your book Happiness . A small book that touches the essence, leaving the space of silence for happiness, like the wind and the light between the pages. We stroll through it peacefully, Épitecte, (I had read by chance, a long time ago, his manual, taken from the library of a café, I had copied it entirely), I appreciated the whole journey but especially the passages at the end of the itinerary with Buddha, Montaigne, Tchouang Tseu, Spinoza… In fact, where the journey begins… Thank you for the very beautiful programs on France Culture on “mystical women” and those with Charles Juliet whom I had discovered about ten years ago through a book by Christian Bobin. So great joy to have listened to C. Bobin afterwards! Thank you for your presence, your voices with Leili Anvar. Lots of beautiful and calm readings... I wish you serenity, harmony, joy... and time, happiness with family, friends, nature.

Sunday, January 5, 2014 – Valérie – The Soul of the World
Hello Mr. Lenoir, third book that I read from you and I am still just as excited! I am going to become a “Lenoir-addict” 😉! I really liked The Soul of the World . I thank you for this opening to the different wisdoms of the world and this rereading of tales and meditations through your beautiful story. Your book invites reflection and the renewal of ideas; bravo! It is the illustrated version that I read and I appreciated the quality of the paintings; I therefore also thank Alexis Chabert. Sincerely and very happy new year to you, to all those you love, and to your readers 🙂

Sunday, January 5, 2014 – Soph33 – Reading of The Soul of the World Dear Frédéric, last night my husband and I gathered some friends to celebrate the New Year. A long-time friend gave me your book, The Soul of the World. I devoured it with avidity, like when I wake up hungry the day after a party… I started studying sophrology 3 years ago and I found in your book everything that motivates me today; I found my doubts, my desires, my progress and my fears in it. Cleaning up to get back to the essentials and knowing how to give ourselves entirely to ourselves and to the world is difficult because we are totally conditioned and perpetually pulled outside of ourselves; this tugging is painful and accessing oneself is a real conquest (at least for me). Your book keeps my momentum going and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I wish you continued success on this beautiful path you have embarked on. Best regards, Sophie.

Wednesday, January 1, 2014 – Benoît – Geneva (Switzerland) – On Happiness. A Philosophical Journey
Dear Sir, a brief testimony to express my gratitude for the intensity and quality of the message contained in your book on happiness. After recently hearing you on TSR, I rushed to buy your book. I was delighted. Your book offers an incredible panorama of brevity but nevertheless completeness and clarity to give the reader the substantial essence of the search for happiness conducted by human beings for thousands of years. I am the modern man you describe so well in your book. Aged 57, of strong Protestant Christian tradition, concerned with making everyone happy, at work and in my family, while seeking my own, I suddenly found myself at the center of the most violent crisis I have known in my existence. My life suddenly became devoid of meaning. My perpetual quest for perfection seemed to me like a mad race leading nowhere. Many questions then arose: should I work towards achieving my own personal good? By what means? For what? Should I work solely for the good of others? Can one go without the other? And so many other questions. The discovery of meditation gave me a path to follow to find a possible path. This path led me to your writings, especially your latest book. It must be read once, twice, ten times, perhaps more, and meditated upon. Explore the paths it opens with intelligence, culture, and respect for the reader. The reminder of the history of ideas, of the issues that were the object of this quest for happiness that you are undertaking, is remarkably enlightening and allows us to situate our reflection as men of the 21st century in the history of humanity and to attempt to discover our own path. I was going to say that it is a "joy" to read you and, in writing it, I realize that this joy is precisely the theme of your book! Perhaps the latter is precisely one of the steps that leads to it...
