“For over forty years, I have been interested in the world’s spiritual quests and diverse wisdoms. Creating a documentary collection for Arte allowed me to travel across five continents in the footsteps of the sacred. From Australia to Ethiopia, from Peru to Japan—via France, Turkey, Guatemala, the United States, Canada, India, and Nepal—I crossed sublime landscapes and met women, men, and children whose spiritual fervor and humanity moved me deeply. I photographed them and wrote down the stories of these journeys in order to share these unique moments. Thus was born this book.” FL
