2013 Readers' Page

Tuesday, December 31, 2013 – Daisy – Happy New Year
Words against ills. Pages, chapters, and books, that's what I need for 2014! And I hope you have time to read!fir_books

Sunday, December 29, 2013 – Liana – Maisons Alfort (94) – Enchantée
I'm only just discovering you now! I heard you on a radio show about your new book. As I listened to you, I was surprised. You put words to the state I feel: the state of being happy! When people ask me "how do you always smile?", I answer: "I don't know, it's just like that, I fell into it when I was little" 😉 As soon as I've read your book, I'll be able to answer with more accurate words and I always hope to infect those around me, happiness is shared, yes! I wish it to all those who have read me. Happy end of year to you and to those who want it.

Sunday, December 29, 2013 – Maryse8083 – Happiness
A subtle book, a useful book to offer to all those we love to share a beautiful reflection on happiness, nourished by vital experience, by life, but also open to Knowledge. Let us leave the bad quarrels, the insipid, superficial reflections of some journalists in search of recognition in the onpc show, to express my enthusiasm to you. I have been following your writings for a long time, I appreciate their finesse and accuracy. I can only encourage you to continue and take us towards other beautiful adventures.

Sunday, December 29, 2013 – Eveidem – Thank you
I've been listening to you on RTL for a while now... What a pleasure! Dare I say that I haven't read you yet? I dare. But I'll quickly remedy this omission. I found myself in your words, in your journey... I felt this inner joy that falls upon you and invades you and listening to you speak about it with such simplicity moved me, since it brought back to life one of those "divine" moments. Even your musical choices (it made me smile) resonated. In short, it was a pleasure to discover you today and I wanted to tell you that. These moments are not so common... I wish you a wonderful end of the year. And thank you again.

Friday, December 27, 2013 – Hélène – Thank you
Mr. Lenoir, I discovered your books at a time in my life when I was asking myself a lot of questions about my Christian religion and Buddhism and thanks to you I understood that they were not incompatible. Thank you for your insights, thank you for your novels too, I just finished The Lost Word and there too everything is there: religion, archeology, Middle Ages, everything I love! I introduce your books to my friends, we pass them on to each other, each one takes your messages, based on her own experience! So a big thank you for enlightening us. Happy Holidays.

Thursday, December 26, 2013 – Catherine – Can't wait to read you in a new novel!
That says it all! My teacher's library is full of books, and yours are a good number. One day soon, my little teenager will discover them in turn. No doubt, she will discover your novels first. Yes, but here I am, waiting, watching for the moment when you announce the writing of your next story! Your immense culture and your generosity should erase the small clumsiness of the beginnings and treat us to a good novel! Say, will you try your hand at a new novel?

Thursday, December 26, 2013 – Pascale – Testimony
I was very touched by your participation in the program “C dans l'air” – For several years, I have encountered the language of Nonviolent Communication according to the method of Marshall ROSENBERG – A positive, living language – Do you know this method??? – We learn to connect with our feelings, with our needs – NVC is a guide that allows us to grow in humanity – the intention to be kind to oneself and others, both authentic and empathetic.

Tuesday, December 24, 2013 – Sandrine – Annecy (74) – Pure Happiness!!
Dear Frédéric, I finished your book On Happiness and I took the time to read a little of it every morning to start my day off right and give it a good direction. I really enjoyed it and now that I have finished the book, I keep it next to my bed so I can dive back into it and reread a sentence or a thought. What a pleasure to discover or rediscover all these philosophers through your analysis. A big THANK YOU for this wonderful read which has given me and continues to give me a lot of HAPPINESS!! I take this opportunity to send you my best wishes for this new year 2014.

Sunday, December 22, 2013 – Marianne – Show
Hello Mr. Lenoir, I wanted to congratulate you on your quality and sensitivity during the show "On n'est pas couché" on Saturday evening. Thank you for emphasizing that your latest book was not about writing a single thesis on happiness but about transmitting and offering to a wide audience as varied as possible, regardless of their level of study, a primarily philosophical and accessible journey that allows us to delve into the depths of all the questions we can ask ourselves about happiness. I wish you a very happy holiday season. Sincerely.

December 22, 2013 – Stéphanie Bigoudaine33 – On n'est pas couchés program from 12/21/13
Hello, I am a new fan: I recently bought your book. And tonight, I see you on this program! A program that I usually watch. But I did not expect to see you! What a surprise!!!! What a joy to start my Christmas vacation!! I am a Spanish teacher in high school in IDF. I travel a lot, my partner and I want to have a baby: a magnificent project. A lot of happiness between us. But alas, I am going through a difficult time. Health problems for My Mom. So your book seemed obvious to me after having leafed through it. And above all, like a hope to find myself, to concentrate on my Happiness: the family that I am building with My partner. So since this life-saving purchase for Me, My Happiness, My Life, Your book accompanies me and supports me! Thank you for this donation, this gesture which does me so much good every day!!!

Friday, December 6, 2013 – Laurence – Thank you
Just a simple message to thank you for your kindness. My husband and I had a wonderful time sharing with you at the literary meeting on the “dragonfly” in Annecy; you were very approachable and had a kind word for everyone during the signing of your books… You don’t feign the interest you have in your audience and in people in particular, and for that, thank you!

Sunday, December 1, 2013 – Etteile – The Philosophical Christ
Thank you again infinitely. Fascinating, and so true. I “finished” it at 3 a.m. this morning, because I couldn’t put it down. I was a little apprehensive, however, because of the “committed” title, but with each page I was able to deepen my little knowledge, while constantly being in agreement, in phase with your perception.

Saturday, November 30, 2013 – Pierre69 – On Happiness
Hello, I have just finished reading On Happiness , which I found very interesting, particularly in the desire it gives to discover or delve deeper into the contributions of each of the philosophies presented. One small regret, however, is the absence of an author, Krishnamurti, who nevertheless offers a definition and an exercise in happiness that is particularly interesting and very contemporary.

Monday, November 18, 2013 – Alexis
We met this weekend at the Book Festival in Toulon. I didn't have time to tell you that I find in you, somewhere, the worthy successor of Arnaud DESJARDINS. So I'm writing to you! Continue to give us the tools for reflection necessary for our personal fulfillment! Thank you!

Sunday, November 17, 2013 – IpMan – A better world…
I believe it is no coincidence, I was in the car when I heard you on the radio being interviewed about the promotion of your latest book, your words gripped my heart and tightened my throat… So much truth in your humanist approach to the world while the latter tries to enclose us, to put more pressure on us against a backdrop of competitiveness and economic crisis, where man is no longer judged only on his productivity and not on his inner value. I have shared your values for years and feel I am going against the grain of what society imposes on us. Well-being is my credo and thanks to you I feel less anxious in this fight that we must lead daily to let go when an entire system tries to crush our individuality… Thank you for enlightening our consciences!

Sunday, November 17, 2013 – Anoushka – Prayer – The Paths of Faith
Thank you very much for your presentation of the program on France 2, The Paths of Faith on Prayer, and for having been able to bring everyone together around Prayer. I was just rereading Thich Nhat Hanh's work on this subject, whether we pray alone or together. "Together, it's the same body, with the same voice, with the same heart," Zen master Thich Nath Hanh, a fervent defender of Peace, often says. Heart and Choir are the same sound... And this echoes for me, regarding the connection with singing, a piece of music that I listened to last night and that I didn't know, live on RC: Gabriel Fauré's Requiem. Of course, the people attending the concert weren't praying, but the energy was there, and in the round of applause from joined hands. Gabriel Fauré said: "God is only the gigantic synonym of the word Love." Prayer is natural, it is this inner silence, we do not know how, nor when, but prayer is present in the heart and the soul. Even someone who has not had a "religious education" knows how to pray as he knows how to breathe, it is true. It is openness, intimate recollection. Religion, spirituality perhaps only make us aware of it, name it... Words are undoubtedly the support, the material. Song, speech, writing, music, dance, mantra, poetry express this inner vibration. To quote the words of the guests among the nuggets: Zen says "Nothing is separate, everything in unity"... The very beautiful poem at the beginning of the section on Judaism. "God knows all languages." in the Muslim religion. "He who prays is never alone" in the Orthodox tradition... etc etc Very beautiful meeting with all these treasures of each confession and tradition... Respect for differences, fraternity for Peace, we need all the energies of Prayers. And thank you Mr. Lenoir for your broadcasts on France Culture.

Monday, November 11, 2013 – Sabine – The Sacred World of the Child, Sunday, November 10, 2013
Dear Mr. Lenoir, I have two comments about your program. First, I would like to point out that we are an atypical family: children raised in the countryside, without television, with a computer, musicians, intelligence, and a brilliant imagination (a mother's word). I believe that the notions of good and evil do not exist, but fear, which engenders a desire for power and amounts to an imbalance, does. What is valid for wise people is valid for children. The basis of education is to maintain this balance in motion, by deciphering fears and the play of power, by showing them the beauty of small things even in moments of sadness. This is valid for learning about the sacred. The goal is to instill in them (it seems to me) the joke: God is not the problem, it is his ground personnel. For imagination, remember "Thumbelina" by Michel Serre. Our children are aliens. Their brains have made a qualitative leap. But even so, Ms. Anvar is right, not all children are alike. I'll take the example of Pokemon, a famous computer game. My son spent hours with his Gameboy, but also drew characters, invented other rules, won a photo contest... Imagination is not due to external factors. It is due to a particular intellect. We talk about intelligence quotient. Which is a mistake, I think. We should say imaginative quotient. Above an IQ of 130, children develop the spheres of abstraction from kindergarten, when other children sometimes wait until 15. It is these spheres that lead to escapes into the imagination, a way of thinking in a tree structure that leads to escapes into the universe of creativity (of the soul?). Thank you for your broadcasts, sincerely.

Monday, November 11, 2013 – Katelle – The Soul of the World
I chat from time to time on a blog where the person presents books for adults and children… quite naturally I tell her about The Soul of the World … through the 3 sieves… so she rushes to read it in turn… I imagined that this person lived in France… because of her blog name which can make you think of a forest and well no she lives in Quebec… see how magical things are… a web is woven around the world… the soul of the world is drunk like a glass of fresh water and men/women need fresh water so much… to reconnect as quickly as possible with their divine part… like many people I keep it close at hand as if we wanted to be infused so as not to lose its essence… thank you for all these writings which remind us who we are… you must often speak with your angel.

Friday, November 8, 2013 – Eliette – Acknowledgments
I have read several works by Mr. LENOIR, including Petit traité de vie intérieure , which I enjoyed so much that I kept it on my bedside table for frequent reference. Thank you very much, Mr. LENOIR, and continue to bring me the inner peace I so desperately need.

Friday, November 8, 2013 – Marie-Louise Boisrobert – boisrobert.louise@gmail.com – Suggestion
I have just finished A Short Treatise on the Inner Life . Thank you for the laughs about the dialogue between Socrates and Seguelus Bonimentus!!! Excellent! When will we visit Morbihan?

Thursday, November 7, 2013 – Jocelyne le Cavorsin – Congratulations on the work of happiness…
Thank you, thank you, thank you, an excellent 2013 vintage, indeed it is a marvelous philosophical journey where we meet the greatest Eastern and Western masters… I just regret not having met Marcus Aurelius there (his Thoughts remain a reference that has not “aged a day”).. Thank you, thank you, thank you. See you soon to read you, to hear you on France Culture… Jolive3@voila.fr

Wednesday, November 6, 2013 – Antoine – Thank you
Thank you so much for this book. I had been looking for a book on happiness for a while, and I stumbled upon your book by chance, which I devoured in one day. This book is good! Thank you a thousand times, I no longer see the search for happiness from the same angle. What's more, you've given me the desire to read again... Only positive things!

Monday November 4, 2013
– Nathalie – nverhulst@telenet.be L’âme du monde was given to me as a present from my 16 year old son. He gave it to me at the time I needed it most. It was a very special gift and I will always treasure it! Everyone should read this book once in a while, and I am very happy that my son is reading it too! Thank you Frederic Lenoir!

Sunday, November 3, 2013 – Eliane – Paris – Broadcast on Krishnamurti
I listen with interest and pleasure to your broadcasts; they echo my curiosity, my questions, and my inner journey. I don't confuse science with spirituality, but some of the writings of scientists resonate with me on other levels, like this one about God and the void. I recently read in the book by physicist Etienne Klein, "In Search of Majorana, the Absolute Physicist," pages 20 and 21, this reflection by the author during his first visit to a particle accelerator: "I suddenly understood that the void is not empty. It contains energy. It is even filled with what we could call tired matter, "in a waking state", made up of particles that are indeed present but do not really exist... "Virtual" particles, so to speak, which are in a state of hibernation, in a sort of sleeping ontology." Between two bluish swirls, our physicist guide explained to us this, which overwhelmed me: "To make these particles lurking in the void like Sleeping Beauties really exist, we must give them the energy that is lacking for their full incarnation. And this is precisely what happens when two particles from a high-energy accelerator collide. They offer their energy to the void and, suddenly, the virtual particles that it contained become real and escape from their lair. The void suddenly heats up and the particles that have been taking a little nap there for several billion years regain the vitality that they had in the primordial universe." Etienne Klein, page 21 writes: "Blaise Pascal, of whom I was a fervent reader, had a brilliant intuition: "There are as many differences between nothingness and empty space as there are between empty space and material body; and thus empty space holds the middle ground between matter and nothingness." Long road to your show.

Sunday, November 3, 2013 – Michel – Happiness!!
I went to my bookstore yesterday to buy the new essay on happiness. I already find this approach very interesting, which consists of crossing all philosophical or religious currents. But in this bookstore I also discovered the new edition of The Soul of the World , illustrated (if I hadn't read the blog more carefully, I would have been informed). What a beautiful work! Although I already have the book, I couldn't help but buy it again. And above all, what a beautiful object for gifts. Christmas is approaching. Thank you again Frédéric for all this production. Waiting for the new releases, the film... Now that you have given yourself even more time to devote to it. And waiting for seminars in the west... Kind regards

Saturday, November 2, 2013 – Wisdom
So much suffering awakens in me fear and the impression that this life is nothing but hell. Unfortunately, one cannot have any faith following a simple desire, despite reading, reflection, various attempts... how can one have such a trigger...?? When reading the writings of various wise men or philosophers, like Frédéric Lenoir, I think: yes, it's true, yes, it's the best thought and attitude. But then, nature returns at a gallop. How can one find peace elsewhere than in non-existence?

Thursday, October 31, 2013 – Anoushka – The Healing of the World
In the first part, given the state of things, which was already quite obvious to me, even if I will no longer be in this world to see this “healed world” and have the happiness of living happily there, this book gave me a breath of courage in its second part. Because the main remedies have been there, in our hands for a long time. And as they say, it is not enough to see the doctor, we must take and apply the remedies, without procrastinating any longer in the face of emergencies and for future generations. This reading allowed me to discover many other “artisans of peace and well-being on the planet”. And of course, we must emphasize the importance of the action of each individual on a daily basis, even if they are struggling with all the negative pressures and oppressions of a system, like the poorest, but also the richest. We don't see enough of all the small gestures that ordinary people make, humble beings who see differently and beyond selfish interest. I would like the children of tomorrow to see the beauty of the world, the wonders of the planet that I am still lucky enough to contemplate and benefit from every moment, while walking in the forest or opening my window to a blue sky after the rain. Thank you Mr. Lenoir for your book. And I also thank Mr. Lenoir for the petition that I did not fail to forward. To Claire A, reader who posted a link to Alice Miller in her message, I did not know her and the defense of children as well as women's rights are close to my heart and thank you to all the other readers whose messages touched me. I will give the book The Soul of the World to my son, on his birthday for his 22nd birthday in March, with the "Small Treatise on Interior Life". May peace be with you.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013 – Isabelle – Lihus (60) –
The Soul of the World The Soul of the World came across to me in a small bookstore in Paimpol, to which the Soul of the World had led me by some unknown detour. As a good seeker of conscience, I bought it, and I read it, of course. And I loved it enormously, because it has the talent of making the inaccessible accessible by speaking in a contemporary way, anticipating the jaded comments of those who believe in nothing with certainty and firmness, that is, the majority of our loved ones. And I am going to give this book to them for Christmas, to those I love and who cling to their great nothing. Hoping that it will fall under the eyes of my grandchildren as soon as they are old enough to read and that, like Tenzin, they will in turn carry the message. Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, you are doing a very beautiful job.

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 – Claire A – On Non-Violence
The petition in favor of animals is a particularly welcome initiative, and I, in turn, am going to sign it without hesitation. I want to add to this approach in favor of non-violence the need I see to seek to go back to its sources. For this reason, I come to speak in this message about the books of Alice Miller who denounces the mistreatment of children which only results in leaving violence and hatred as a legacy. Through examples that we all know, such as Hitler and the Holocaust, she tries to highlight how urgent it is to stop and combat all forms of violence against children. All of her work is focused on raising our awareness of these forms of violence, too often hidden by educational principles whose cruelty is legitimized by social and/or religious, and/or pseudo-scientific rules. From the most openly cruel to the most devious. Welcoming, protecting, and loving children is, in her eyes, the source of humanity's healing. This seems obvious, but it is not yet reality. You can read it under the titles "Your Life Finally Saved," "The Drama of the Gifted Child," "It's for Your Own Good," and on her website: http://www.alice-miller.com/index_fr.php. Thank you for hosting this message on your site.

Tuesday, October 29, 2013 – Violette – Nîmes (30) – Response to Mr. Vincent
I am always very happy when readers are deeply touched by Mr. Lenoir's writings, and that this encourages them to journey spiritually. Mr. Vincent, if you ask what book you could read next, I will obviously answer the next one that comes out tomorrow on happiness, but I also strongly recommend The Philosopher of Christ . Mr. Lenoir, both through his intellectual rigor and his deep sensitivity, rehabilitates the universal message of Jesus. If you do not have the courage to read the whole book, read the epilogue: Jesus facing the Samaritan woman, Mr. Lenoir's interpretation reveals the subtle and the essential: love, freedom, truth and respect for the person to the depths of his soul. In two words, they believe in Man! I encourage you to continue on your journey, CG Jung said "Man deserves to be cared for because he carries in his soul the seeds of his future."

Sunday, October 27, 2013 – Vincent – What design? Hello everyone, Life has thrown me some tough trials lately. Trials and encounters that have prompted me to open my heart. I discovered The Soul of the World (by chance?) while looking for a Christmas present for my 17-year-old daughter. I found great comfort in reading it. I then felt the need to share it with those around me. The reception was mixed: rather enthusiastic (especially from my daughter :-)) or rather cautious depending on the reader. The reactions of the heart and instinct: the two horses in the harness of reason… I wanted to delve deeper into this quest. I have just finished reading GOD: Interviews with Marie Drucker. I intend not to stop there. Is there a new book you can recommend to me for the future? Thanks to the trials, the encounters, and these readings, I have found my Faith again. I don't know who He is, or if He really exists, but if He does, I think I can guess His plan. He is a tremendous hope. Thank you, Mr. Frédéric, you have done me a lot of good.

Friday, October 25, 2013 – Marianne – Congratulations on your fight for animals.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Mr. Lenoir, for your commitment and involvement in loving, saving, and protecting animals, as well as a huge BRAVO! for this manifesto demanding that animals be recognized as “living and sentient beings.” Have a great weekend. Kind regards.

Tuesday, October 22, 2013 – Pierre-Marie – Bravo!!
After reading it, I couldn't help but send this text message to my loved ones: < >

Sunday, October 20, 2013 – Anoushka – The Soul of the World
Hello Frédéric Lenoir, The Soul of the World … I really enjoyed this beautiful tale. I liked each character that I cannot separate from each other even if I remembered the fascinating and moving Sufi, the strange and intuitive shaman, the humor of the Taoist sage I adore, and the serene and lively spirit of the philosopher. Tenzin the little light in the vast and dark world… So in the process, I began to read The Healing of the World with impatience and determination! It must be pleasant to read or hear the tale aloud. The illustrated version, an obvious one, I leafed through it, very beautiful watercolors. For me, wisdom has more often come to me through storytelling or poetry and the contemplation of nature, that's how it is. The program on storytelling with Henri Gougaud was great. Sorry, I got stuck on the book How Jesus Became God ? Very historical... I stopped on the way to the Gnostics... And I wondered if I wanted to know more about Jesus, or even God??? and what???... indefinable... Otherwise, philosophy might not be my cup of tea, you know the Zen story of the cup... But naturally let's say that contemplation and reflection are linked, and that can be fascinating, I was joking, I'll read The Philosopher Christ . I enjoyed this morning's show on the teachings of the Buddha with Philippe Cornu, then there were the different currents of Buddhism. In the Zen of Master Taisen Deshimaru, we talk about "bad ego"... Jack Kornfield of Theravada has an approach with psychology... Reflection on what links mindfulness, well-being, happiness to the teachings of the Buddha, in the West. Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh teaches mindfulness and Buddhism (mindfulness being a part of it), which shows that there is only one step between well-being and the teachings of the Buddha... Thank you. Good luck.

Saturday, October 19, 2013 – Elisabeth – elis.lefin@orange.fr – Aire-sur-la-Lys (62) – Let us give thanks
It was a Sunday morning in November 2011, to the sound of matins, I was going to a seminar for presidents and vice-presidents at Royaumont Abbey. The fog that settled in the early morning embellished the landscape… Everything suggested that a fairy had just placed her stole, in fine white muslin, on Mother Nature. As usual, I turned the radio dial to France Culture, soothing voices could be heard, the theme of the program “meditation”. The following month, we began a very important stage of personal development… (we had just signed up). Coincidence? Your program was a real revelation. Since then, my husband and I have not stopped listening to you, listening to you again and again, we buy many books that we savor and reread 2 to 3 times or more. It's true that it shakes up your interior, it destabilizes, we question ourselves, we doubt... but it makes us grow! And makes life lighter. This summer with the paths of wisdom, the delight is even sweeter... All your words are clear, precise, and accurate, your work is considerable. Your symbiosis with Leili Anvar is a treat that has no equal. Your voices are deliciously pure and soothing. What Beauty! We envy your Souls! A big, big THANK YOU.

Sunday, October 13, 2013 – Bruno – The Pessimism of the French
Hello Mr. Lenoir, I listened to you this morning on the program "Les racines du ciel" on France Culture. I like your program, but I am surprised (and it's not the first time) to hear you talk about the pessimism of the French. I don't share this point of view. I would rather speak of a very cultivated pessimism in the media. Today, the television news only talks about misfortunes and in a very selective and episodic way that makes your head spin. But does that correspond to what we are experiencing? I don't think so. Furthermore, the morale of the French is calculated on their level of consumption. If it drops, we conclude that their morale drops too. We live at the heart of a very powerful propaganda system. You also say that the French have a welfare mentality: did you know that a large proportion of people who could receive the RSA (Responsible Social Security) don't? It's too easy to talk like that. I was disappointed by this very pessimistic speech about us, your listeners. You are right to insist on the need to work on oneself. But that doesn't solve everything. Another solution to combat the legitimate fear that we can feel in the face of the enormous challenges of our society (climate change, social and financial crisis) is not to participate in concrete actions with others. It is also a therapy. I would like you to invite movements like Villes en Transition or Colibri, for example. On September 21, thousands of human beings from around the world participated in a shared meal, connected by Skype, organized by the "the meal" movement. Acting together for a better and fraternal world is also a spiritual approach. Perhaps you don't emphasize this enough. Good luck

Saturday, October 12, 2013 – Eliette – Spirituality
Thank you for your intervention in Toulon this afternoon, on the subject of spirituality. I would like to know your opinion on one point: do not religions, whatever they may be, constitute one of the means given to us to access the spiritual dimension, which is totally inexplicable with our human words, because it can only be experienced in our soul?

Friday, October 11, 2013 – Flo – Conference at the Zen Salon
Thank you very much, Mr. LENOIR, for the conference given at the Porte de Champerret Zen Salon last Sunday. We all run towards happiness but without knowing that it is within reach, we can even pass by without seeing it, we must look everywhere, as you said so well, a ray of sunshine, an unusual shadow, it immediately made me think of the magnificent rainbow at Bastille, or the rays of the sun breaking through the clouds. Thank you very much for reminding us that happiness is simple. I am eagerly awaiting the release of your book on happiness.

Thursday, October 10, 2013 – Nathalie – All the benefits of a conference
Hello Mr. Lenoir, I really enjoyed your Sunday conference on happiness, which, like your writings, resonates with me. And I wanted to thank you for your “truth” about happiness because, while shaking me up inside, your words allowed me to know a little more about the person I am. Sincerely.

Friday, October 4, 2013 – Michel – St Gilles la Réunion – C dans l'air
Bravo, Mr. Lenoir, for your intervention last night on the program “c dans l'air” dedicated to Pope Francis… we knew you had a fine pen, it’s a pleasure to see you again as an orator, a storyteller, even if it means teasing “your friend” Mr. ODON… a new (small) step towards the awakening of souls… Thank you…

Monday, September 30 – René Barbier – issm2007@yahoo.fr – Krishnamurti yesterday and today
I see that in November 2013 you will organize an interview on the life and work of Krishnamurti with François Favre who was one of my most insightful students and I am delighted. For 25 years I led a seminar on this sage at the University of Paris 8 in Educational Sciences. You will find an overview on “the researchers’ journal” that I have been hosting on the NET since 2002 http://www.barbier-rd.nom.fr/journal/spip.php?page=recherche&recherche=Krishnamurti Good luck with your business so necessary today.

Sunday, September 29, 2013 – Audo – Racines du ciel Wonderful program on the theme of storytelling, this Sunday morning, beautiful exchange. Stories convey messages about life, they are true. Adults (who lack a little imagination in everyday life) should read more… it’s good for them… too! Thank you.

Monday, September 23, 2013 – Patricia – Les Portes-en-Ré (17)
Gratitude is the word that corresponds to what I feel for the author of the Little Treatise that I read, in every sense, I come back, and I leave again for another chapter while being always more curious about the next one; I savor it like a rare dish… So lost and searching, I borrow it by “chance” without knowing you at the municipal library of Portes-en-Ré, and this book turns out to be a springboard, a trigger in the year of my 37 years or more than ever I no longer have the choice, I must discover “the interior”. A Sign that has arrived and that I take as a gift… which naturally makes me want to continue to read and reread it, and of course to buy Nicomachean Ethics by Aristotle and other works by you certainly. Thank you for reconciling me with the masculine gender, which I no longer understood, me, a "scientist" who, like others, tends to put things in "drawers" and to prejudge. This is the beginning of Awakening for me, thank you.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013 – Claire – Chambéry (73)
Hello, I found in your approach to spirituality, an eclecticism that suits me. I appreciate it because I think that such a basis allows for self-construction, and, that is my goal, the acceptance, use, and valorization of a stormy life… Some existences are a navigation on a calm and fishy pond, others a fight against the elements, of escape in the hull, going overboard,… it is sometimes difficult to see beyond the waves, an island on the horizon. So bravo and thank you. From the height of my 61 years, I am still looking, or, I am only just beginning the search! Too bad we cannot have spirituality cafes or meeting cafes! In Savoie, for example. If you know of such meeting points, your suggestion is welcome. Have a good day everyone.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013 – ollofabienne@scarlet.be – Thank you.
I read your “Little Treatise…”. Thank you. I feel less alone inside. Thank you.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013 – Bowlofbeauty – The Soul of the World
Hello Sir, I had the chance to read this magnificent book, The Soul of the World , and to discover that it wrote down exactly what a wonderful lady does in a corner of France. She communicates with souls and guides you on your path if you need it. During my last meeting with her in mid-August, I gave her your book, telling her that you had written down everything she advocated as advice and life directions. She read it and now promotes it to everyone she meets… She gave me this advice not long ago: “reread The Soul of the World by opening it anywhere, and you will see, you will be surprised.” I was, it was in line with my thoughts at the time. Your book is a little gem to read, meditate on and share, with young and old alike, so that this world turns a little more smoothly and above all with real values... So thank you for what you do, it is always with pleasure that I read you. Best regards.

Thursday, September 12, 2013 – Erbra
Your writings having been one of our sources of inspiration, we think that you and your readers might be interested in this short text on consciousness. We thank in advance those who take the time to read us. It is not what is around us that needs to change, it is Us. https://www.facebook.com/erbra1 (full text). Good luck on the paths of awakening your consciousness.

Once again, through your presence and your lectures this weekend in Morges, I am filled with joy and happiness; through your words, my pains that seek good are at peace. Thank you. YES, “living is an art.” With my affection.

Sunday, September 8, 2013 – Jean-François – Amberieu en Bugey (01) – Short treatise on the inner life
Dear Mr. Lenoir, I have been born into the Roman Catholic religion, then by choice, for seven years as an “active and regular” member of the Rosicrucian order AMORC, and for fifteen years within the Sathya Sai Baba movement of Puttaparthi. Disappointed by these movements, I returned in 2009 to more “simple” things. Thanks to an interview with you on France Info, I learned of the existence of the Short treatise on the inner life , and it was a revelation. I have read this work 3 times, and I found myself in it often. Like you, I have the modesty to have made today a synthesis of the 3 three major influences cited previously. In other words, I took what was "good for me" and what seemed "right" to me from these three influences, and I made my own spiritual philosophy of life. Thanks to the "treatise", I began to reread the Stoics in the text, the 4 Gospels... in short, to return to "our" roots. I read your essays and documents with passion, on the other hand, other genres of writing, notably novels, do not "work" for me... You have a particular talent for what you do, and you contribute your stone to the building of spirituality that I would describe as "moderate". So: continue!!!

Saturday, September 7, 2013 – Karim-Philippe – consistent
Mr. Lenoir, I am not addressing you, but your readers, listeners. Indeed, for some time now I have been reading and listening to Mr. Lenoir. While attending a debate and having exchanged with him, personally, in Morges, the book on the quays, I found a man consistent with what he professes, shares and writes. Mr. Lenoir, whether you read him, hear him or meet him in the flesh, always exudes passion, great listening and generosity… here is a complete and certainly fulfilled man… meet him! whether you know who he is or not. Thank you, Mr. Lenoir.

Monday, September 2, 2013 – Robert – Gembloux (Belgium) – L'oracle della Luna
Dear Mr. Lenoir, I didn't know your books and it was a bit by chance that I started "L'oracle della Luna"... I have just finished it with difficulty because I admit I was tempted to leave it there after reading a hundred pages! Fortunately, Giovanni meets the learned philosopher Lucius and from that moment on everything changes. You have understood that the (abracadabra-nte) and incredible adventures of the Calabrian (I laughed a lot at your descriptions of the sexual relations of your heroes) left me wanting more literature, but that the intrusion of philosophical and astrological theories, if they raised the level, they also relaunched the story. But it is the meeting with the Kabbalist that interested me the most. It is also a humanist opening that touched me a lot (published by Albin Michel p.434…438 and 486…487). I also liked the garden/Sephiroth and its symbolic implications. However, the theoretical explanations linked to astrology (making it plausible) had the effect of a cold shower on me. I then tried to convince myself that it was intentional, and this, in relation to the beliefs of the 16th century... If you hadn't guessed, my own convictions are in the realm of atheism and when you launch into hazy explanations to try to justify the father/son/holy spirit trilogy, I can only totally disagree, just as for the identification of Jesus as the son of God... Moreover, I think that you distort the problem because you take as a postulate the existence of God, which is never questioned... I suppose that you have read "To End God" by Richard Dawkins... I would not like to end this message on a negative note: this novel is a great epic novel which allows everyone to access certain philosophical and existential reflections. When I look at your production, it is enormous! I suppose that you have a team with you to produce all this. It is a beautiful undertaking where love for humanity is not absent... To quote you: "all humanity is slowly progressing towards a mysterious collective accomplishment." You are a very interesting person and I will try to immerse myself in your productions, perhaps a little less literary. Fraternally

Monday, September 2, 2013 – francine.vermozen@orange.fr – Chamalieres (63) – The Healing of the World
Hello Mr. LENOIR, I discovered your works this summer, and since then I have continued to share them with my (adult) children. I gave all three of them The Treatise on Inner Life in pocket format, which is a little gem of information on philosophy, psychology, and spirituality. After reading it, we shared and exchanged. My question is this: will you publish your book The Healing of the World in pocket format, and repeat this experience through your works, this link that does us good? I am delighted to meet you. Thank you.

Sunday, September 1, 2013 – Anoushka – A Short Treatise on Inner Life
In addition to the compliments and thanks for this book that I had the pleasure of reading, I wanted to point out two things that really struck me about “attachment and non-attachment.” As a Buddhist practitioner, I had the same reaction, thinking that it is quite natural to be attached. In my opinion, what is harmful is possessiveness or excessive dependence, which are extremes of attachment and lead to suffering. Confronting someone’s pathological jealousy, for example, and all the possessive, frightening, and destructive greed. Otherwise, a true Zen master, for example, will set his disciple free. In love, with loved ones, it’s a bit the same; if you truly love someone, you avoid suffocating the other person, you don’t tie your own wings. Also on "adversity is a spiritual master", I always knew deep down that "Jesus never praised suffering". And I didn't know this saying "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me", which moved me deeply. Being a human being, there was enough to "sweat drops of blood", the anguish was clear-sighted in the face of what awaited him. On "the faith of trust", I was also touched, it took me a while to realize that I had one, preserved despite all the terrible adventures I experienced. Thank you, I felt understood in this book, and I wanted to say what I think about it, "here and now". Mr. Lenoir, I will listen to your programs on France-Culture on Sunday mornings. See you for future books!

Sunday, August 25, 2013 – Aurore – Nimes (30)
Thank you for your wonderful writings, for guiding me on my path in life and beyond. I am currently reading The Soul of the World, it is a delightful discovery, it has its definitive place in my intelligence and my heart. Keep it up…. Perhaps one day I will physically cross paths with you. Yours.

Friday, August 23, 2013 – Annie – Nina
Mr. Lenoir, since I met you through L'oracle della Luna , I have never stopped reading you. Each time, the encounter was magical. Each of your books is a handful of seeds that comes to germinate quietly deep inside me, nourishing me but also nourishing the people around me. The light doesn't only illuminate the bulb... But... Mr. Lenoir, I was deeply disappointed by Nina... It doesn't matter, you might say, to be disappointed by a reading... It's not the first time... Surprisingly, I had the feeling of being betrayed by a friend! Page after page, I waited for that marvelous moment when the illumination takes place... Nothing!!! I read with Nina a story at the level of the Harlequin Collection, with certainly always pleasant writing. A summer novel, not unpleasant but it's not Frédéric Lenoir!!! I want to ask you, Mr. Lenoir: "Promise me you won't do it again!!!"

Wednesday, August 21, 2013 – Claudine – A Short Treatise on Inner Life
Hello, I am currently reading your book and it is completely in line with my approach. At 44, I think I have finally understood that we must know how to let go, that our ego is our worst enemy and that when we are able to look at ourselves and recognize what is wrong, then at that moment we begin to move forward. I am alone in taking this approach. Around me, very few people know how to recognize their wrongs or their failings. I am not blaming them; I think it is a shame and that we are wasting a lot of time. I am going to continue my approach by turning to meditation and finally thinking of myself after having given to others. We must learn to protect ourselves. The hypersensitivity that is in me is not always understood, but I will continue to reach out to others while thinking of myself. Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for your book and sincere greetings.

Wednesday, August 21, 2013 – Thomas
Thank you for your magnificent works that enlighten our thinking. I have just finished Christ the Philosopher. If Jesus said, "You don't put new wine into old wineskins," why did he do it himself? By letting the Old Testament meet the revolutionary message he came to transmit to create a new humanity rooted in love.

Tuesday, August 20, 2013 – Zachary – Montreal (Canada) – By the way…
Hello Frédéric, during a discussion, a friend told me about a program on Radio France, “Les Racines du Ciel,” which might interest me. I haven’t missed a single one since! By podcast (due to the time difference). It’s so pleasant to listen to. It feels good. I completely agree with the idea that it’s about reconciliation by finding all the universal values that connect people regardless of their culture/religion, as you explain in “La Guérison du Monde.” I too would like to participate in the well-being of the world, a vast program! So I’m starting with myself, of course. I’m not sure I’ve found my path, but I’m doing my best. I’m aware that each of my actions has consequences. It’s not always easy to manage, by the way. In any case, I always find inspiration and support when I meet people who are sensitive to this approach, which is, I dare say, ours. Thank you!

Monday, August 19, 2013 – Jean-Luc – Congratulations and thanks
Dear Sir, a loyal reader of your works, I wanted to congratulate you for your talent and for your understanding of humanity, so well explained. Reading your writings naturally pushes me to continue asking myself existential questions. My quest for wisdom has obviously led me to take an interest in your works, which have been a source of inspiration for me to guide me along the path of the “happy medium.” The road will still be long, I know, but I have hope and confidence in the future. I was looking for certainty about my convictions. I confirm them through your stories. Thank you for your messages of hope, thank you for your humanity…

Saturday, August 17, 2013 – Anne – Comment: A Short Treatise on Inner Life
Hello Mr. Lenoir, a friend who didn't think I was at my best, knowing my journey and all the resilience I've shown, had the wise idea of giving me your book. "You'll see, it'll do you good!" I take the book in hand (easy, Pocket). After turning the first three pages, Saint Augustine already gives me confidence. I read... I'm already trying to meditate, but it's not the right time; we're at the table. I turn the page and read in your prologue "Existing is a fact, living is an art." My reaction is immediate: I don't agree! It's the opposite! My friend tells me: "That's it, you're starting"; read it and then you'll see. I've just finished it and thank you for confirming what I suspected and needed to hear. However, I come back to it… for me it is Existing that is an art. Beings live as animals, humans, but among these few understand or execute to “come out of themselves in the realization of what is given to them to do and to be or quite simply to go towards the other for the other. This is what I approach with my students in the theme: “Happiness and meaning of life”. A priest friend in one of his homilies said: “The mussel, it lives on its rock, it opens and closes. It only truly exists when it is in my palace. And, to tell us not to remain like mussels! Thank you for existing! PS: your book on the three masters “Socrates, Jesus, Buddha” read in 2011 had to be born. A vital necessity in the Tic-Tac of our little life. Yours, and the pleasure of reading you again.

Monday, August 12, 2013 – Viviane – L'oracle della Luna
Hello, I really enjoyed your book L'oracle della Luna , both as a tale of adventure and love and for its initiatory quest. However, I find that the rhythm of the novel is broken by overly long religious and historical references, which are nevertheless interesting and instructive, which interrupt the suspense, the wonder and the attachment to the characters. Despite everything, the writer's performance obliges us to go to the end of the 600 pages. Congratulations again and thank you, I remain a loyal reader...

Friday, August 9, 2013 – Nathalie – Nathalie and Jérôme or Nina and Adrien…
Mr. Lenoir, a psychologist for 14 years, I am a huge fan of your books; I sometimes suggest reading them, especially the Little Treatise on Inner Life, to some of my patients. Today, I come to you for “Nina and Adrien.” In mid-May, I sent a card to my best friend from high school, whom I'd lost touch with for 20 years... 2 and a half months before my move from the Atlantic coast to the big blue sea, I wanted to tell him how much he had meant to me and to hope he was happy and serene... Since then, we have been experiencing a surge of emotions: him confessing that he had, at the time, a crush on me... this revelation "exploding" the magnificent gift package of friendship in which I had wrapped my own romantic feelings... On June 3, I discovered Nina and, as the pages turned, the intensity of my feelings for Jérôme became clear. We saw each other again, an infinite tenderness unites us; our correspondence seems to me (!) of pure beauty: "our unlived love possesses us" with an almost frightening intensity. How many Ninas and Adriens are there in us? How many letters of love, of infinite and pure tenderness, are there? Would bringing them together in a book be foolish, absurd? This book could be "the jewel box of our unlived loves." Thank you for your attention to this email, thank you for your writings, for the serenity but also for the introspection they offer. Good luck, and I look forward to reading from you soon.

Thursday, August 8, 2013 – Noèm – Thank you
I simply wanted to thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for your program, Les Racines du ciel . Initially, my spiritual openness was limited to the psychology movement my parents adhered to, which helped me but also isolated and fixed my thinking. Your program has broadened my horizons and nourishes me, alongside psychotherapy. I have been practicing meditation regularly since the program where Christophe André came to testify, and each program I have time to listen to allows me to recharge my batteries, in a life where moments of pause rather make me want to do “mind-numbing” activities. Your work with Leili Anvar and the audio format allow easy access for those who have little time to read. It is so reassuring to connect “recharging” thoughts together, to see that they speak to each other through different cultures, religions and perspectives…

Wednesday, August 7, 2013 – Annie – Nina
Hello Mr. LENOIR. I have just finished reading Nina. It is the first time that a novel has moved me to this extent. I felt hope throughout the story and it feels good. I hope that a sequel is planned. I know all of your work (or almost) and through it I discover, enrich myself, become passionate and am led to reflect on my own life. I wanted to congratulate you on your journey and thank you for the benefit and enrichment that you bring to a loyal reader and listener. Best regards.

Sunday, August 4, 2013 – Dragon
Mr. Frédéric Lenoir, I met you through an INREES conference (on video). For me, you are not a “God” but you are a Sage who brought me the “Light” so that I could change paths… and perhaps, make my sincere and modest contribution to the future of this mother earth. A big THANK YOU for giving me hope again; following the readings of The Healing of the World , The Soul of the World , Little Treatise on Inner Life… Which thus led me to read: “The Master in the Heart” by Annie Marquier. Respectful greetings.

Friday, August 2, 2013 – Thierry – Discovery
I discovered you, by chance (?), through the book Petit Traité de Vie intérieure . I wanted to thank you for having succeeded in making things that were quite abstract for me into practical reflections. I really appreciated it. Good luck.

Tuesday, July 30, 2013 Oblatomarc – Pope Francis
Dear Sir, what a shame! I just saw you on Antenne 2 in the news this evening, and you are falling into the same trap as the average so-called religious journalist: Pope Francis, a bit of John 23, of John Paul II, of Benedict XVI… can’t he simply be Francis? Can he only exist in comparison to others? It’s an easy solution to ultimately say nothing, to occupy the screen… Good luck to you!

Sunday, July 28, 2013 – Dominique – L'oracle della Luna
Hello, I have just finished L'oracle della Luna , which literally swept me away like a book has rarely been able to give me this sensation of fabulous discovery, a literary, romantic treasure… or have I rediscovered my childlike, young girlish soul… I will definitely reread it, or at least keep it preciously in my modest library, as will certainly be other of your works that I will not fail to acquire, because I am captivated. Existential quest, initiatory journey, philosophical questions, understanding of the world, of civilizations, history of humanity, of dogmas and religions, everything is there, but above all the apology for life which is in itself an extraordinary adventure, romantic if we want to dissect the thread of our peregrinations and encounters, of our experience. I would also recommend reading Alexandra Lapierre's novel Artemisia , an extraordinary fresco of the world of Italian painters whose plot takes place in the middle of the 17th century. I wonder which adventurer today could live the incredible and initiatory adventures of Giovanni or Artemisia so incredible and in what forms...? Is it a coincidence that in 2012 I discovered Artemisia and in 2013 Giovanni...!!! I look forward to reading and rereading you very soon.

Friday, July 26, 2013 – Clisthene – Discovery and Confrontations
I am dissecting for the umpteenth time the extraordinary Christ the Philosopher , a bubbling over of spirituality, and this after having reread The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky. These two works in a row create a fiery breath of fusion. Simultaneously, an inexplicable thrill is born from the comparison of two introductions to major spiritual works: the Tao (..) “without a name, it represents the origin of the universe; with a name, it constitutes the Mother of all beings”; to be compared with: “In the beginning the Word already existed (..) in it, there was life, and this life was the light of human beings” from the Gospel of John. What “scriptoria” could have transcribed across continents, in atomized times and such diverse civilizations, almost the same meaning through almost the same terms? Will these enigmas be enough to keep me patient for the ultimate conclusions I await from the discovery of the Higgs boson: if indeed it constitutes proof that it is up to him to attribute mass to that which comes from "non-being"...: where science contributes to justifying spirituality, and both justify our united humanity. In the meantime, continue to speak to us about the necessary human fraternity. Thank you.

Wednesday, July 24, 2013 – Wisdom – Just a thank you
Hello, this is the first time I've left a review online... it's not my habit... however, I felt the need to do it today after discovering you... I came across your books by chance; I read The Little Treatise on the Inner Life and as soon as I finished the book I needed to read The Soul of the World which I just finished to buy today: Socrates, Jesus, Buddha ... So I just wanted to say THANK YOU, thank you because I said a prayer so that I could find the answer to my spiritual doubts that had been bothering me for so long! I asked to see my faith more clearly. And quite simply, your books brought me the answer! So just a big THANK YOU.

Tuesday, July 23, 2013 – Neither God nor Master – The Soul of the World
Hello Mr. Lenoir, atheist, I find myself with your book in my hands (by force). This may make you laugh, but thanks to all the wise men, I have stopped smoking. Yes, yes, I know, nothing to do with it, but the Wise Man who compares the soul to a garden, from which the weeds must be pulled out... There you go, keep it up. Thank you and well done. PS The journalist is right when she says: F. Lenoir knows how to speak to non-believers.

Monday, July 22, 2013 – Christian
I have just read the Little Treatise on Inner Life , a very interesting work because it highlights a quest for wisdom consistent with my aspirations. Son of a small farmer, my parents bled themselves dry to send their 4 children to school. As early as possible, we acquired financial independence, jobs during studies… Access to Culture was quite secondary for us. After working on large farms, I was an agricultural teacher. At 27, following a long illness, I replaced my father in a GAEC, with my mother, we joined forces with our neighbor farmer in 90. Since 1993, we have been organic. At the same time, my sister began a long illness, progressive polyarthritis, she managed to “live with it” thanks to sophrology and significant work on herself; she became a sophrologist. For a long time, the "always more" has been outdated, having witnessed many accidents in life, we (my family and I) have questioned our way of life. My sister introduced me to sophrology and I started yoga 2 years ago. I have acquired a lot of serenity, am I approaching wisdom? I have been lucky to be in contact with people and readings that show me part of the path. Unfortunately, I find that those who speak of wisdom do not come from "real life". Just as BIO touches a privileged part of the population (which is a great shame), the quest for wisdom is only within the "possibilities" of a few initiates. I believe you are starting to become a significant group of personalities who would like to change things. If you want a concrete testimony from a "field doer", contact me.

Friday, July 19, 2013 – Mireille – Nina
What a joy!!! Each of your books is eagerly awaited in our home. My partner and I are happy to read you and discover a new journey each time. We share this joy with all our friends and family. Thank you, thank you.

Thursday, July 18, 2013 – Therayana – Understanding Being,
Sir, Healing the World , The Oracle of the Moon , Socrates, Jesus, Buddha ; references to intellectual development and understanding of the World that everyone who is even slightly “literate” should read. For my part, it is an experience and a reflection that I was waiting for without knowing it. Thank you.

Thursday, July 18, 2013 – Régine – Les blessures de la vie (France Culture)
Another very good program last Sunday. I would like to add, in relation to the chickpea anecdote, that it is known in oenology that the grape is better and sweeter when the vine has suffered, which is why the vines are planted on arid, calcareous or rocky soils. Yours faithfully.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013 – Yvette – Saint Etienne (42) – The Soul of the World I have read several of your works, but I must say that this one, in its form, particularly spoke to me. In a world that has become so materialistic, we need light and spirituality. It is comforting to see that wisdom is universal and that if we forget the dogmas that often lead to conflict, we can find in the great spiritual currents the beginnings of an answer to the big questions we ask ourselves. Thank you for bringing, in works accessible to many, an essential contribution to this great questioning!

Tuesday, July 16, 2013 – Sylvie (Montreal)
Thank you for simply being and sharing your knowledge, experiences, intuitions, and observations through writing. A beautiful vibration of love manifested within you, around you, and in the universe.

Sunday, July 14, 2013 – Louise – The Oracle of the Moon
Hello Mr. Lenoir, I recently read your magnificent book The Oracle of the Moon . I rarely read novels by contemporary authors and I must say that I was simply amazed by the accuracy and richness of this book. It was an incredible gift for me because it came to me just before my fifteenth birthday and I am very grateful to the person who lent it to me. Unfortunately, and even more so when I am young, we see how books are losing their importance in society. This is very sad because I think that if more people had the open-mindedness that you bring to your books, the world would undoubtedly be a better place. Only an insensitive heart cannot be touched by such a striking work. The book gives me the same emotion as Chaplin's speech in The Dictator and the same intelligence as a Shakespeare play, it is a call to freedom, free will, clairvoyance and life... Just know that your work is far from being minor, it is true! Yours.

Friday, July 12, 2013 – Corinne (06)
Mr. Lenoir, when will one of your conferences be held in the 06 (or even the 83)? We can’t wait!! 🙂

Sunday, June 30, 2013 – Viviane
I just drank in L 'Âme du monde . It did me good to know that there is someone who writes down in black and white what my husband and I are experiencing, feeling isolated. I am 56 years old, the granddaughter of a rabbi, having been educated by my parents without religious reference, married to a practicing Catholic, having gradually left religion, both of us in search of true spirituality.

Friday June 21, 2013 – Ricema – Barcelona (Spain) – Your book EL ALMA DEL MUNDO
Buy the book El Alma del Mundo en Barcelona. Tengo 77 años y llevo 60 años haciéndome preguntas sobre trascendentes temas, que ningún profesional de la fe ha sabido responderme. After devouring this book 3 times, he felt an enormous happiness, I was proporcionado so much light, that quiero mandarle a virtual abrazo very far from Barcelona. Muchas gracias. PS: Soy catalán, entiendo perfectamente francés, pero escribo mejor en español.

Thursday, June 20, 2013 – Anonymous – God
Hello, I have come to add my pearl to this rosary of praise that is this page. I gave “God” to my mom for Mother’s Day. And for the first time in my life I had the impression that I was making her happy. She devoured it, yes, my old mom devoured “God”. She, who only has her school certificate, swallowed it in 2 days when so many hosts had remained stuck in her esophagus! And my old dad then pinched it from her. Can I count on you for Mother’s Day next year? Because your books are as easy to find as noodles to make a necklace, so there you go… I was thinking that next year, I’ll think about it again…

Wednesday, June 19, 2013 – Catherine
Hello, on vacation in Brittany, with family, I was going to buy your books that I can't find in Quebec. In Santé Magazine you talk about philosophy, we talk about personal growth... I'm going to Fnac to look for The Healing of the World . Thank you! And continue to inspire and help people grow...

Monday, June 17, 2013 – Notty
Thank you, thank you for summarizing my lifelong search! With The Soul of the World you have strengthened my ideas and my choices, the path I have chosen for myself after so many years of blindness, illusions, and false paths. This book has become my “bible” and I recommend it to all those who are searching, who doubt, who suffer. If only the 8 p.m. news anchor could read us a few lines every evening!!! If only teachers could do the same at the beginning of each class!!!… and if those who have the power had read it!!! Readers, let us take up our pilgrim’s staff to make it known to everyone, so that everyone can find the path to Happiness! THANK YOU again

Monday, June 17, 2013 – Elena – The Healing of the World
Dear Frédéric, I am currently reading The Healing of the World and I just wanted to tell you how much I am “breathing” while reading it… Many books deal with these subjects but few are those that have an overview and are “accessible” to a large majority of readers… It is a book that I would like my daughters to read so that they know that, even if our world is in bad shape, everything is possible for it to get better if we are willing to take the trouble to believe in it and to act. Yours.

Friday, June 14, 2013 – Carla
Hello. I am a social work professor in Lebanon, which is still torn apart after 30 years of war. I appreciate your inclusive vision of the world; it is what we need to build lasting peace. We have more than 30 faiths that struggle to coexist, yet Pope John Paul II gave us the nickname "Lebanon Message" given the coexistence that reigned there. Would you consider a visit to that side of the Middle East?

Thursday, June 13, 2013 – Barbie
Dear Frédéric, I am finishing two of your books, The Soul of the World, after A Short Treatise on Inner Life . There are books that surprise us, entertain us, enrich us, and comfort us, like people. Your books bring me all of this combined, and it is a wonderful moment of sharing. You are a bridge that leads us with simplicity toward spiritual paths that you have illuminated with your kindness and intelligence. Without being a novice in matters of religion and/or wisdom (I have been reading, studying, and doing my own research for many years), it is delightful to encounter certain writings that make coherent, individually and collectively, all of these currents that are sometimes represented in a very inappropriate manner. Thank you for the lamp of wisdom that will be very useful to us in illuminating our path in life.

Thursday, June 13, 2013 – Liliane – Echirolles 38 – lilianebarontini@yahoo.fr
Like many of the authors of these comments, I have read almost all of your books and have thoroughly benefited from them! For those who wish, you can find on my site a summary of each one and my humble opinion, each time enthusiastic… The beginning of the adventure begins with the unforgettable novel “The Promise of the Angel”. …Soon I will immerse myself in Nina. Thanks for the “path”, Frédéric!

Monday, June 3, 2013 – Marie
Thank you for your “Little Treatise on Inner Life”… you put words to my thoughts!…

Monday, June 3, 2013 – Patricia – Valenciennes (59)
Hello Mr. Lenoir. Reading the Little Treatise on Inner Life is a delight for me. I had to reread certain pages like page 21 because I felt like I was reading what I could have written if I had this talent: “The mere fact of acquiescing to life and being provides a feeling of gratitude which is itself a source of happiness, which allows us to fully enjoy the positive and transform the negative as much as possible. “Saying “yes” is an inner attitude that opens us to the movement of life, to its unforeseen events, its unexpected events and its surprises.” It feels good to see written down in black and white what many people think quietly without really knowing how to apply it, but when we take the trouble it is worth it. Thank you for continuing to remind us of the lessons and duties of life with the added bonus of sharing your beautiful culture which makes us want to read…

Dear Mr. Lenoir, I am a student interested in spiritual, philosophical, and religious research, but also curious about the big questions about today's world with its problems (especially environmental) and its future. I first heard about you from a religion professor who taught about changing the practices of believers. Since then, I have read three of your books, listened to quite a few "The Roots of Heaven" programs, and browsed your website. All this to say that I admire you and thank you for all the ideas you convey. Without preconceived judgment but with creative intelligence, you seek to confront different ideas, and it works! I appreciate your open-mindedness and particularly the way you interview the guests on your show with Leili Anvar (who is also a fantastic soul). Your respect for everyone is matched only by your thirst for research, which is especially contagious to your listeners (well, I hope so...)! Your words are accurate and enriching because they are perfectly in tune with the times. When I read or listen to you, I feel as if I am faced with great wisdom and I am nourished by it internally. Once again, a huge thank you for everything you bring to society through your testimony. Good luck and long live philosophical-spiritual debate programs!

Tuesday, May 28, 2013 – Pierre and Sophie – Barcelona – Gracias
A big thank you for your intervention on Monday the 27th at the French Institute of Barcelona; it is always extraordinary to meet people like you or Arnaud Desjardins who know how to share so well, to talk about the path, the paths that are open to us to fully flourish as human beings. From heart to heart, warmly, good luck and if your path brings you back here…you are expected!

I'm going to tell you a true story I heard from the Aboriginal peoples of Australia: an Aboriginal man is leaning against a tree near a farm. The gentleman farmer approaches him and says: if you come and work for me, you'll earn money that will allow you to buy a plot of land, then a farm, animals, equipment to cultivate the land, and finally have your autonomy and be your own boss. You'll make such a profit that you'll earn enough to buy a second home, a boat... And the best of the best, you'll be able to relax and watch the sunset... And the Aboriginal man replies: what's the point, it's what I'm already doing.

Monday, May 21, 2013 – Sylvie
Just a quick note… I just watched a documentary of a conference you gave at INRESS, about your latest work. I admit I didn’t know you, but what a joy to hear you and to be able to listen to you and follow your thoughts! My journey as a “life seeker” is quite similar, although I don’t have the gift of being able to pass on what I learned… you do it so well!… So, I just wanted to thank you for crossing my path by chance* on the internet and thus illuminating my evening with a great ray of sunshine! Have a good journey… Fraternally. * A little phrase that I like: “chance is the path that God takes when he doesn’t want us to recognize him.”

Sunday, May 20, 2013 – Karine – Eysines (33) – Conference “The Healing of the World” May 16 in St Médard
What a joy to have been able to attend this conference! I came almost by chance (if chance exists) and I hope to have the opportunity to listen to you again. Thank you for this evening, for the dedication you made to me and for your words which resonated with me and, certainly, with all the people present. While waiting for the next time, I will immerse myself in one of your books. Kind regards.

Friday, May 17, 2013 – Dominique – The Healing of the World, conference of May 16, 2013
Thank you for your presence last night at the St Médard cultural center. Yes indeed, "there are things to discover through trials." The first is to learn to accept what we cannot change. When a door closes, we must remain open to other possibilities, yes they are within us. Meditation is a wonderful tool (which cannot be bought!!!!). It's true that at first it's difficult, but you have to trust yourself. By persevering, we realize that the path of spirituality is a joyful path. So thank you for spreading these messages filled with truth and hope through your books and your conferences. Take care.

Friday, May 17, 2013 – Shantée Bellefleur – Aix-les-Bains (73)
I have just read all the comments from your readers. What a pleasure to see all these reflections. All the enthusiasm and humanity that you bring to your books, your editorials and your broadcasts are reflected in your readers. I see here very precisely the illustration of this quote from Gandhi that you often quote: “Be the change you want for the world”. Thank you and thank you to all your readers who express themselves on this page 🙂

Saturday, May 11, 2013 – Nadia – Paris – The Angel's Promise
Unable to find a satisfactory book on the history of Mont-Saint-Michel at the Mont bookstore, I settled on The Angel's Promise . It has been a long time since I have been so transported by a narrative (3 and a half days without stopping!), the intoxication of the plot being matched only by the beauty of your literary style. I myself study medieval sculpture, a fact which probably explains the sensitivity felt while reading your story; identification with the character of Johanna then became inevitable. As I read the chapters, page after page, I found myself in the abbey; a place so full of spirituality, history and majesty which, thanks to your talents as a storyteller, have left all the more an indelible mark on my heart and mind. I only have one desire now: to go back! But first, a little detour to Vézelay with Johanna. A very big thank you to you and to Violette Cabesos for these delicious moments, hoping to see Johanna again very soon.

Friday, May 10, 2013 – Lucille – Caen (14) – NDE Show
Dear Frédéric, I just listened to the podcast show “ Les racines du ciel ” (The Roots of Heaven), which is dedicated to NDEs, a subject that has interested me for years. Quite simply superb! Thank you. Kisses

Thursday, May 9, 2013 – Anny – The Soul of the World
After reading the book, I came across this little tale by “chance”… touching and delicious too! So I’m sharing my little find :o) by posting it as I found it. A little “Nothing” to say Thank you. Yours. “You who are reading this, do you know the story of this fakir (fakir = ascetic of the Middle East) who sat on the throne of a vizier? The guards, ready to draw their sabers, approached him. − Little insolent! Who are you to dare to sit in the vizier’s place? − But, I am above the vizier, my friends. − Come on, it’s the caliph who is above the vizier! − But, I am above the caliph, my friends. − How can you claim such a thing? Only God is above the caliph! − But I am above God, my friends. − Such proclamations deserve to have your neck cut! Above God, there is nothing! Do you hear? Nothing!! − Exactly, my friends, I am nothing!

Tuesday, May 7, 2013 – Claire – Roots of Heaven: Experiencers
A very interesting point struck me in the France Culture program with Dr. Charbonnier. It is the description that experiencers make of the notion of good and evil. “Evil” becomes the very vivid perception of the feelings of a person who is suffering while the person who caused the injury had no awareness of having made this person suffer (according to their own criteria of good and evil). Thus, they discovered the empathic phenomenon through experimentation. The notions of good and evil established by various moralities are therefore considerably relativized. I like that! On the other hand, the arguments put forward by Dr. Charbonier with his brain/car engine analogy are laughable. Frédéric Lenoir, who is not a scientist, puts forward more serious hypotheses by suggesting that the abolition of a state of consciousness could allow the emergence of an unknown and unexplored background task, and one might have expected the analogy with a computer rather than with a car engine. One can indeed quite hypothesize that the abolition of the state of awakening consciousness allows the expression of neurological capacities unexploited in the state of the human condition (still in a state of survival). Exploring this hypothesis more than seeking to prove it according to the current criteria of science, which still seem limited, would amount to working to broaden the scope of consciousness. Is there a possible path between the often contemptuous denial of scientists and the interpretation of some who want to make law? The testimonies of experiencers are rich, I have the impression that they have not yet all found the "right" interlocutors so that research can progress.

Monday, May 6, 2013 – Sandrine – Annecy (74)
Dear Frédéric, I was present at the Geneva conference, organized with Fabrice Midal who is also an author that I like very much and I thank you both for being there. Your words concerning the search for profitability and efficiency touched me because I realized that these are two words that I often use to define myself in my job search today. This made me again full of doubts about my professional project and the human values that I would like to find in my future employer. Redefining my priorities and rewriting my project will keep me busy for some time… I also bounce back on the project of delaying the schedule of your show “Les racines du ciel” which makes us get up early if we want to listen to it live, but what happiness and what serenity to start Sunday by hearing you receive your guests, it is equivalent for me to a yoga or meditation lesson. Delaying the schedule would no longer have the same impact on my day, which would then start like any other day... Thank you for being there and letting us enjoy it!

Monday, May 6, 2013 – Carolina
Thank you for being at the Geneva Book Fair. Thank you for existing and for planting (spicy) seeds of happiness in our hearts.

Sunday, May 5, 2013 – Corinne – How things
come to us I have often noticed that when a need or a question arises, an answer presents itself quite naturally. A friend who was hospitalized and to whom I had lent a book, returned it to me, entrusting me in turn with A Little Treatise on the Inner Life . A work made accessible to all by its author and which fell into my hands at the right time. I will spare you the content of my moods which are of interest only to me, but it is good to find oneself again, and to finally be able to move forward... Thank you

Sunday, May 5, 2013 – Gaëlle – Thank you
Hello Frédéric, Thank you for the conference at the Geneva Book Fair. And more broadly, thank you for being you and for sharing your personal experience. By following you, we are on the path to healing the world, with perseverance and confidence. We are waiting for you in ANNECY now… The 4 Anneciennes

Saturday, May 4, 2013 – Claire A – The Roots of Heaven / Individuation
Some thoughts about the individuation process. Why emphasize the word "crisis"? In this process described by Jung, I've always heard "become who you are meant to be." It doesn't have to be painful. Life is difficult, suffering is everyone's lot, but at all times. What emerges around fifty seems to me to be nothing more than the fruit of an underground maturation that began very early, well before midlife. And instead of being critical, it brings about a state of progressive inner liberation. The word crisis brings a negative preconception about this period, which, on the contrary, can be very positive. (Just like the adolescent crisis, why immediately attach a critical preconception to this stage? It seems to me that if we talked about stages, there would be fewer crises...). Why? Why? I have tons of question marks in my bag of whys! I'll spare you those who still inspire me!

Friday, May 3, 2013 – Pascal – Gratitudes
FREDERIC simply thank you! Your books accompany me on my life path!

Sunday, April 28, 2013 – Benoît – Broadcast on Ramana Maharishi
I am writing to you not as a reader, but as a listener of your broadcast on France Culture. I would like to make a small contribution regarding the non-meeting between Gandhi and Ramana. A disciple of the Maharishi, Annamalaï Swami, relates this little story. A member of the Congress party, Râjagopalachari, is said to have organized a meeting for Gandhi, 400 meters (that's precise!) from Bhagavan's ashram. Gandhi dreamed of meeting the great Saint, but Râjagopalachari prevented him from doing so that day, and the meeting never took place again. Here is what Ramana Maharishi said about the failure of this meeting: "Râjagopalachari knows that Gandhi is an advanced soul and therefore fears that he will enter Samâdhi here and now and forget everything concerning politics. That is why he signaled to the driver to continue." » Rajagopalachari was then also Prime Minister of the Madras Presidency and, after independence, would become the first Indian Governor-General... Best regards and have a nice day.

Sunday, April 28, 2013 – Florence
I have just finished Petit traité de vie intérieure , watched some interviews of yours gleaned from the internet, and I have only one thing to say: a thousand thanks for your freshness which is good. I will continue to read you, Mr. Lenoir.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013 – Grandma – Thank you
Hello, thank you and thank you again. I have just finished reading The Soul of the World . Your book is simply magnificent. As a mother of three children, I recommended it to my two oldest, aged 16 and 12. Knowing that there are people and authors like you really makes life sweeter. I only have one desire: to read everything, everything, everything you have done. The world is ugly, the world is sad, but as long as there are writers as human as you, we can hope that, despite everything, it will be worth it! I loved these characters, I loved these two children and all the lessons of wisdom that are so true. Bravo. Yours.

Monday, April 22, 2013 – Etteile – God
I have just closed the last page of your book. Thank you for this great moment, and this certainty that I now have of not being isolated. You have magnificently expressed what has always been obvious to me, what Brel sang: “We were not on the same side, we were not on the same path, but we were looking for the same port.”

Sunday, April 21, 2013 – Françoise – Belleville (69)
I found what I had been looking for for a long time in the Petit traité d'histoire des religions : what connects people across all continents, the universality that exists in all religions, their appearance in the life of humanity, at what time, what needs they respond to, etc. As for L'âme du monde , if it is aimed at adolescents, I found there many questions that I had asked myself and answers that I had found, even if nothing is simple and an answer does not always correspond to an attitude in life. Finally, it is a comfort to share this idea that faith has nothing to do with dogma, because few people – at least around me – are in this search… This is finally what I was looking for, thank you!

Saturday, April 20, 2013 – Sheikh – The Oracle of the Moon
Hello, I just finished your book The Oracle of the Moon and I'm off to the bookstore to buy everything you've published. I'm Muslim and I've always been intrigued by the links between different religions and through your book I found a spiritual guide in you, accessible with immense faith in Man. I'll also buy the Oracle of the Moon comics to compare the images I've formed of the characters with those that are born under Griffo's fingers. Thank you again and I look forward to welcoming you to Senegal one day.

Friday, April 19, 2013 – Claire A – Why JC wasn't born in Bethlehem. My version.
Hello, I'm reading God (it's funny if we forget the quotation marks, isn't it?) and this book is a treat for my little iconoclastic mind. On page 61, you explain why it would be unlikely that JC was born in Bethlehem. I don't have much erudition to support what you're explaining or to refute it. However, I'm going to share with you my feelings as a woman and a mother, which could be a valid argument if we give value to intuitive knowledge. In 2011, I had the chance to participate in a trip to Israel and going through the cave was of course a stage of the trip. So this is what I felt: If Mary, the mother of Jesus, felt the need, under the fierce contractions of the impending labor, to go down into this dangerous place (slippery rock, cold and dark place, with limited ventilation...), it is because her maternal instinct was not very developed or that it was under the influence of an undetermined but fierce external threat. No, even the mice who live under my roof have a more comfortable instinct to find the birthplace of their offspring. So it is inconceivable for me to admit that the one who has represented the maternal ideal for 2000 years gave birth in this place. It is true that for all those who fantasize about a return to the womb, this place is the ideal! A narrow corridor that opens onto an enlarged cavity, enough to fool even Eustace! (See St Eustache and the trumpets of the nativity on St Wiki) So Bethlehem or Nazareth, I don't know, but the cave, no, I'm sure of it! There you have it, my high-wire argument, which I'm sure of, and this in all modesty, will cause a good part of the Gospels to be rewritten (having a stable built by the tour operators could be a less expensive alternative). So, on that note, I'll return to reading God .

Friday, April 19, 2013 – Gillou23 – Short treatise on inner life
I am finishing the passage from your book “self-love and inner healing”, I loved your approach to self-love that I share. You are a true teacher in trying to “convince” us, you did not hesitate to take your personal case, we can only recognize ourselves in this passage, there is a certain “universality” in your story that reassures us, bravo! In addition, I really liked the story of the abbot….Abbot Pierre, it doesn’t change anything about the man, as you explain so well “what courage”, something to meditate on.

Sunday, April 14, 2013 – Eric – Paris
“Socrates, Jesus, Buddha.” I discovered F. Lenoir after reading an old interview in Actu Philosophia. I really don’t know Buddha. With the little knowledge I have of the other two, it seems to me that their life was for them and in everything: Being humanity, living history. Without the vision they had of the living and the world being able to separate one from the other. Without it being able to be otherwise.

Friday, April 12, 2013 – Anne-Sophie – Healing the eyes
I subscribe to the highly complex and syncretic approach of Frédéric Lenoir, so I think this is a good place to say that it is possible to regain normal vision (talking about genetic causes is false); that visual disturbances are a physical symptom among others; that the eyes function in interaction with an overly neglected body, which deserves, it seems to me, to be more integrated into a therapeutic approach or the idea of living one's life well. I have been rehabilitating for a year a 25-year-old myopia aggravated by wearing glasses and contact lenses (the two are equivalent). It is a long and difficult path, a personal work that requires me to change my way of functioning. It is above all the possibility for a child or an adult at the beginning of a failure to very quickly regain good vision. It simply becomes cloudy when the normal functioning of the eyes is altered, due to the way we react to events. They freeze and lose their mobility, which should be permanent. I learned with great interest about the eye movements recommended by D. Servan-Schreiber to unblock negative emotions. Because it is in line with what I experience: when I move my eyes, it affects my body, and vice versa. Whether I relax more, my stress decreases more and more, I become more active, my thoughts do not freeze in the past or the future, or I focus my attention on the present moment, all this helps me to see better. Like no longer crossing my legs, on the contrary planting my feet firmly on the ground when I am sitting, and working on my posture affects my eyes and all aspects of my life. I discovered last year that I could regain normal vision, while something in me did not want to resign itself to the so-called genetic causes. I then tell myself that an intuition which envisages what one believes to be impossible is surely always right.

Monday, April 8, 2013 – Floriane – Thank you
Thank you for your little treatise on inner life, it enriches me, comforts me in my being, a shining beacon. Your friends are very lucky, one day perhaps…

Saturday, April 6, 2013 – Souslesoleil – Thank you for the shared wisdom.
Your books are true blessings! I read Socrates Jesus Buddha and A Short Treatise on the Inner Life; it was a real treat for my soul. I looked in my city for The Healing of the World , but it is not yet available; I hope it will be here too. Some of the passages that nourished me in the two previous ones I read a few years ago: page 154 of A Short Treatise on the Inner Life : “So, rather than having remorse, rather than dwelling on it, let us look at our past, however painful it may be, in a positive way…” and on page 236 of Socrates Jesus Buddha : “Under these conditions, what does it mean for Jesus to ‘seek the truth?’ Relatively, it means applying oneself to discerning the true from the false. Absolutely, it means encountering him and, through him, experiencing the God of Love.”… Yes, experience Life. Thanks again!

Thursday, April 4, 2013 – spy460 – spy460@hotmail.fr – A Short Treatise on the Inner Life
Hello and thank you for this “little” work teeming with historical and literary references and which, not content with putting a little balm on my soul, makes me want to immerse myself in the writings of Socrates and Spinoza. I remain fascinated by the fact that one can accumulate so much cultural capital in one’s mind, as this must make the reading of existence more relevant… this is, alas, not my case but in reading your book I have the impression of going beyond, for the time of reading it, this regrettable state of affairs! Kind regards.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013 – Véronique & Emmanuel A Little Drop of Water in the Ocean – State of Play
This state of play in the Healing of the World, Mr. Lenoir, allows everyone to realize the tremendous progress in the awakening of planetary consciousness… And it is very comforting when, sometimes, we feel a little isolated in our journey despite the deep conviction of knowing we are connected to the rest of the ocean. Each of us can be the “hummingbird that helps to extinguish the fire with the help of the tiny drops of water that it fetches from the sea.” This is how, all united, we make our contribution to the Healing of the World and, if we look closely, multiple signs let us know this. Starting with the Internet, the planet's nervous system, which is a marvelous tool - and all the forms of solidarity that are developing in our daily lives (SEL, carpooling, Woofing, Surfcouching, micro-credit, etc.)... while capitalism is cracking on all sides! We are living in a wonderful time of change, of metamorphoses! The imaginal cells are mobilizing slowly but surely so that the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, it is inevitable! Let us not be afraid of seeing certain regressions, certain steps backwards; it is only the fear of transformation that is holding back the process that nothing can prevent from succeeding. The 21st century will not see the end of the world - but the end of One world. As André Malraux said, "the 21st will be spiritual or it will not be." Behind the clouds of our thoughts that swirl in all directions, the sky remains azure. Here is the Soul of the World. With Friendship.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013 – Anne Toscano – Vannes (56)
Hello, it’s a real pleasure to read you… I’ve almost finished reading the Little Treatise on Inner Life and I’m really enjoying it!!! Bravo for your research, for your philosophy which is accessible to all and please continue to delight us like this!!!… Sincerely.

Sunday, March 31, 2013 – Nadia – Acknowledgments
Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for opening all these spiritual horizons to us. Since 2009, I have been following the show Les Racines du ciel and I never miss a podcast every week. L'âme du monde and Le Petit traité de vie intérieure have stretched my entire being.

Saturday, March 30, 2013 – Ronne – Re-reading of The Soul of the World
I just sent a letter to the person who gave me the book “The Soul of the World”. I might as well share it with you. “Dear S. I finished reading your book in two days. Since yesterday, I have been rereading it but more slowly, pencil in hand to underline and annotate, dictionary at hand to clarify words like: pantheism, stoicism, dogma etc. It’s true that as you say “we know all these ideas”, and on the first reading I even had to get over the irritation that was tickling me: another beautiful, suave, mawkish, moralistic philosophical tale that disguises the words but still wants to give us a lesson in religion! But this sugary coating did not put me off to the point of spoiling the substance of this writing. Besides, if I have this impatience to reread it, it is because I find my satisfaction there! In fact, it extends a conversation I had a few months ago where I spoke of the almost depressive state in which the progressive end of my belief in God had left me. During this discussion I felt revived because I understood that it is not because "my" God does not exist that it means that spirituality does not exist. Suddenly, the black abyss that I had before me was once again full of a luminous truth: even if "my" God does not exist, life still has a meaning and there exists the presence in the universe, of a mysterious and good force that can maintain the order of the world. This is what Frédéric Lenoir calls "the soul of the world" in your book, and this name really suits me well (for me, who no longer had a word to talk about all that: God, the great whole, the father, the creator, the "? and ¿"... meh meh meh). In addition, I, who am always in search of the "true" fundamental and universal values, here they are, summarized in 7 very simple points. Because of its form, this book will not have the same media success as "Indignez-vous" by Stéphane Hessel, but if everyone made it their bedside book, it could change the world."

Friday, March 29, 2013 – L Clerc – laurencebecquelinclerc@yahoo.fr
Hello, I just wanted to express the feeling of well-being I feel after reading your works, which are full of love. It is always a pleasure to read you, and it reinforces my belief that religious beliefs and rites stem from the same source. Best regards and happy Easter.

Thursday, March 28, 2013 – Claude
Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for your contribution to the rehumanization of the world. This world greatly needs to rediscover its deepest roots—spirituality, generosity, love, and tolerance—if it does not want to continue its mad dash toward a brutal materialism to which selfishness and indifference lead it. If I were writing, I would express myself in exactly the terms you use in your books. I therefore identify with them entirely.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013 – Wanessa – wanessa@live.fr
I would like to thank you, your book The Soul of the World literally grabbed me, even though I have been in a kind of torpor and uncertainty for a long time, something inexplicable, I can't find myself, nor feel in my place anywhere. In short, I browse the shelves of this store, I search without looking for the book, but what book? I don't know, I haven't read books for a long time. At first, I come across books, such as social problems, then biographies, and I raise my head to come face to face with The Soul of the World and even if I am not Catholic, even if the summary seems interesting to me, I pick it up without expecting anything from it other than a passing distraction. It took me two days to read it, to immerse myself in it, to understand the journey of these wise men and the morality of this story, to understand the precepts and to make them my own. I drew from it the hope that I had lost somewhere, and also a great inner peace, I was looking for approval, the authorization to exist professionally by myself… I have wanted to write for a long time without ever having the strength but your book, Mr. Lenoir, gave it to me. So it may seem exaggerated but it is true, thank you, you saved my soul, because it was lost, thank you with all my heart and continue to write… I will read you with pleasure. Have a good day and thank you.

Thursday, March 21, 2013 – Helena – Brussels – God, in the Brussels metro
Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for giving us God (interviews with Marie Drucker). Highly recommended to all!! A true light on the construction and destruction of God throughout the world and in all times. You show well how the conviction of holding The Truth and taking things literally leads to conflicts. But the Truth is enigmatic and impossible to know. I read God during my daily travels in the Brussels metro (capital with a significant growth in Muslims), in a way visible to all. It aroused many curious glances and even led to a conversation. It is a small contribution to the spread of the divine message of tolerance and love, which is at the heart of this book. Once again, a big thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for guiding us.

Wednesday, March 20, 2013 – Nathalie – Love and Attachment
Thank you so much for all your books, inspiring, simple, humble. I am currently reading: A Short Treatise on the Inner Life. A question came to me spontaneously. I have always questioned the notions of love and attachment. How do you define love? How do you define attachment? You seem to separate the two exclusively. But I don't see how attachment is necessary for love. Of course, that depends on the definition you give it. Thank you for your attention to this humble question that I am asking.

Sunday, March 17, 2013 – Stéphanie – Marseille – The Box
Hello or good evening, We are lucky to have so many words available to express our wisdom. I have just finished The Soul of the World . I did not know the author before reading this. I did not know this site before this evening. I copied a lot of sentences from this novel, which speak to me and I put them in a box. When the hour is difficult, I pick a sentence from the box and I bounce back on it. I will tell you (or not) if it is effective… PS: While reading The Soul of the World , I laughed twice: P101: “Go to the cemetery,” the wise man said to him, “and insult the dead” (imagining the scene) and P129: “And what must I do to go to the circus?” PPS: I have not yet found my port but I have no doubt that I will get there one day. With a sailor husband, that should help! As for the source, it's far from dry. All this to say thank you and to give those who haven't read it yet the desire to discover The Soul of the World .

Sunday, March 17, 2013 – Anne777 – Thank you
Hello Frédéric (if you allow me). Two months ago I discovered your writings through The Little Treatise on Interior Life . Since The Soul of the World passed through my hands, today I devour God . I simply wanted to thank you, thank you for putting into words what seems obvious to me. Far from the straitjacket of religions that you know so well, you know how to transmit this love of life through what is most beautiful: Faith. May the Light continue to guide you. Thank you.

Sunday, March 17, 2013 – Claire A – @Denis
I don't really see what you mean by QED with my testimony, but far be it from me to think "Too many books and not enough action." I even cited a few authors who were the driving forces, fuels, valves, and beacons. Without them, I wouldn't have made any progress. Just as there are many, very many, field workers. But despite this, there are obstacles everywhere, major obstacles whose origins are known. So yes, personally, I gave in to discouragement, and F. Lenoir's book reminded me of this rather brutally with the word "poisoning." That's all. However, I choose to call my discouragement not poison, but pause.

Friday, March 15, 2013 – Denis – to Claire A [message of March 9, 2013]
Bravo for your testimony, as they say succinctly: QED…… Too many books and not enough action….

Thursday, March 14, 2013 – Audo – Paris – Il était une foi (en recherche de sens)
Hello everyone, I recently discovered and really liked your interview (video) with P. Cochinaux (Catholic media in Belgium) from last February…, which shows the importance of your work as a sociologist (and that of your colleagues) allowing us to understand our evolution and bringing us to a human awareness, and of your work as a philosopher (and that of your colleagues), bringing an interior dimension…in your natural language and accessible to all and a little too…as if to make the voice of other “voiceless” heard…

Wednesday, March 13, 2013 – Amenity – THANK YOU
This may surprise you, but you are one of those (very few) who encouraged me to enroll in the Fundamental Theology Course. Among your books, the most decisive were your Interviews and How Jesus Became God . But your behavior on TV, and your frank remarks decided me just as much. “I am a non-dogmatic believer: there is a divine source, and Mary has a lot to do with it. Everyone can drink from it, and then, far behind, so as not to be sprinkled, theologians argue over whether it is carbonated or chalky…”. Thank you. In a while, after hours of training, I may see things differently, but, in any case, you have already helped me, that’s for sure. Thank you again. Amenity

Tuesday, March 12, 2013 – Fabien – Congratulations
Hello Mr. Lenoir, about two months ago I didn't know you, but since then I have had the opportunity to discover – to devour would be the right verb – your works, Socrates, Jesus, Buddha , The Philosopher Christ , A Short Treatise on the Inner Life and The Healing of the World . I must admit that having somehow rediscovered my faith (I am a practicing Catholic Christian) last December after a very difficult period where I didn't really know where life was leading me, I relied heavily on your works full of common sense and optimism while remaining both lucid about the current situation (which I had the opportunity to see in your work on the healing of the world) and well-documented. I am passionate about reading, which helps me in my work as a history teacher, but recently I have been discovering the major trends in spirituality from a new perspective. And I am convinced that you are right when you speak of the profound message of the Gospels in Christ the Philosopher and Socrates, Jesus, Buddha , namely that Jesus encouraged men to free themselves from the purely formative norms of the dominant religions (without denying their usefulness) to replace them with a message of universal love which would allow us, through helping our neighbor, to approach God, much more than simply going to mass. And yet, today, how many people go there without even paying attention to the real and concrete meaning of what is read and prayed, nor to the simple person who begs at the door of the church! It is precisely this kind of attitude which had initially discouraged me from returning, and it is largely thanks to your reflection that I find hope again today and that I am no longer ashamed to believe in it. Click here for the rest ...

Monday, March 11, 2013 – Yves – Great treatise on happiness
Hello, your smile led me to read you. Your books allow me to progress in many ways and I thank you for that. When you quote, these quotes sometimes lack explanation for an uninformed reader like me. You bring a lot to my culture and reading you is truly a very good moment of sharing, I benefit without complex from your great culture but sometimes I do not understand everything lol. In any case, thank you for offering us your experience with such generosity and attention.

Saturday, March 9, 2013 – Claire A – The Healing of the World. Still Believe in It?
I read "Nature and Spirituality" by JM Pelt and "The Healing of the World." How many books will have to be written on this same theme? Will we have to exhaust our planet's tree reserves for the necessary leaps to finally take place? I admit to having had a bit of an overdose of these works over the past 15 years. Could my testimony be a "we have tested for you"... the harsh trials of the clay pot against the iron pots? The testimony of our little battles on the ground would be summed up in a few pages, only to end up being "poisoned" by discouragement. Yes, to end up thinking that a new balance will be created even if it means that a new species disappears from the planet, ours. Would that be so serious? "Humanity will disappear, good riddance," wrote Yves Paccalet. I got angry at that title, now I accept this possibility. I learned to turn off my television so as not to give in to the temptation to only press where it hurts and take positive paths. I have failed in many areas. So your book hurts me because I realize how much I am poisoned by discouragement. I realize that in the face of perversion, I ended up going from love to fear. When I opened my door to tolerance, it was fundamentalism that entered. When I opened my door to common sense, it was bad faith that entered. For a long time, I had humor and self-mockery as an antidote, and poetry gave me the heart to work... It was through Jung that I believed, it was through Edgar Morin that I found a new order to my thoughts, it was through Trinh Xuan Thuan that I touched the dizzying mystery, it was through Bobin that I resurrected. Your book awakens a vague feeling in my soul. Should I give it back so that others can make better use of it? Truth, justice and love, if I did not have children, I would stop believing in them... It is for them that I make it my duty to believe in them and to search again.

Friday, March 8, 2013 – Frédéric – Guichen (35) – The healing of the world
I loved your summary and your vision which is so close to what I have been involved in for 30 years (non-violence, ecology, organic, biodynamic, spirituality, broadening of paradigms…). I would like to contribute to making it known in associative networks, and to facilitate the link with all those who are more in the inner, philosophical or spiritual evolution. We have in your book a real “road map” to federate, strengthen, multiply the positive individual and collective actions, while giving them a greater depth or even radicality. So I hope for your participation in the 22nd “Ille et Bio” fair near Rennes, the 2nd weekend of October… why not dedicated to the “healing of the world”. Sincerely greetings

Wednesday, March 6, 2013 – JJ Hannot – csny@bluewin.ch – Shame on you Re: How Jesus Became GOD
I can't believe you had the nerve to write a book that doesn't go above and beyond the catechism we were taught when I was 10. You don't even bother to check what you're saying. So, EVERYTHING we were told would be true... Blessed are the poor in spirit who trust you... For you, Nazareth is there, period, no doubt! Jesus DIED(!) in 29 30... Paul Saul was born Roman and Jewish, (In Tarsus, of course!) You can strut your stuff on all the channels, but that's not the work of a historian, Lenoir! It's a load of rubbish. I challenge you on any channel. SHAME on you.

Tuesday, March 5, 2013 – Jacinto – jacinto.batata@orange.fr – The Healing of the World
Hello Mr. Lenoir. First of all, I wanted to congratulate you and express my admiration and approval for your television appearances. It was while listening to you during a debate, relating the crisis, that I decided to get your latest work, The Healing of the World . It is a book that accompanies a thought that is increasingly felt in everyone's circle, I think. I will not cite the examples you gave there, but just a little anecdote. On a return trip from Paris on the TGV, my traveling neighbor had an instant reaction when she saw your book, and she said to me: "Sir, you will see once you have finished this book, you will be changed. You will see life differently." Today, I can only agree with this lady. Bravo for this book which puts a lot of things back in their place, and which above all reorients us towards the true universal values of humanity and its future. I can't wait to read it again, after my brother, who is also devouring it, finishes it. Sincerely. A new fan.

Monday, March 4, 2013 – Agnès – agnes@azemar-gites.com – Dourgne (81) Tibet 20 keys to understanding
Dear Frédéric Lenoir, I have just finished reading Tibet 20 keys to understanding and I promised myself I would respond to the readers' section. Because it was with great emotion that I (re)read the unfolding of these tragic events that I knew with more or less precision. And above all, it allowed me to take a long journey back to the years 1975-80, when the great wave of diffusion of Tibetan Buddhism spread to the shores of the Western world! Indeed, I saw and participated in the emergence of the first centers erected by these great Beings who were Kalu Rinpoche, the 16th Karmapa, and last but not least Pawo Rinpoche the 10th. I had the extreme luck to experience great moments with the latter at the Tranchats center in Dordogne… It was an incredibly rich period! and of course it marked my entire life… Thank you for having retraced this whole epic of the first Buddhist centers, a direct consequence of the tragic history of this country and of this people so singular and so endearing! Thank you and continue your work of dissemination in the spirit which is yours: concern for historical rigor and the heart!… Thank you again.

– Patricia Lenoir Hello Mr. Lenoir, I have only read three of your works ( L'oracle della Luna , La promesse de l'ange and La parole perdue ) but let me tell you that I found them fascinating and moving! They moved me so much that at the end of each of them, I cried, and I kept them preciously because I know that one day, I will want to read them again. I was particularly touched by L'oracle della luna and La parole perdue (perhaps because of my Italian origins!) Thank you again for so much talent!

Saturday, March 2, 2013 – Kalifa
Good evening, your essays no longer need to be praised, as they are now authoritative in the hearts and minds of your readers, of whom I am one. For once, it is to your novels that I wish to pay tribute on this page. I am just closing L'oracle della luna , after having become acquainted with your fictional universe thanks to La promesse de l'ange . Your talents as a storyteller, your erudition and your sense of intrigue not only allow one to devour the work and tremble for your characters, but also lead to reflection and introspection… So thank you very much… I hope to have the opportunity to read many more.

Thursday, February 28, 2013 – Bruno – Nantes – Your interview published in the JDD on February 24, 2013
Hello Frédéric, thank you for this article published in the JDD last Sunday, which clarifies a little more the current earthquake that the Roman Curia is going through. This also confirms your work, The Philosopher of Christ , which clearly shows the failure of the Catholic institution, which has been the opposite of the evangelical discourse for many centuries. So, how can we be surprised by these financial, sexual, and political excesses? “God is Love, and those who worship him must worship him with Love and Truth,” said Jesus according to Saint John. What Truth? The truth of God and his revealed word, quite simply, and quite simply, we therefore note that the Catholic institution is the opposite of this revealed word. The future Pope will therefore have the almost impossible mission of reforming not only the current organization of the Vatican, but above all more than 15 centuries of doctrinal excesses; that is the real challenge. We must have the courage to make a mea culpa for this spiritual error as well as for all its consequences – too often painful – and declare and above all practice (because this is the definition of faith) the evangelical message.

– Denis – A moving thought for the departure of a great man!! Hello everyone, this may not be the place but I still allow myself, having already called his name on this readers' page, I wish to share my emotion following the departure of Stéphane Hessel. A great man leaves us, let us nourish the hope that other people in our world will bring us as much wisdom as he brought us.

Wednesday, February 27, 2013
– Audo – Paris – Expression Hello everyone, I observe and admire the diversity and richness of your expression, combining knowledge, experiences and imagination (books, conferences, radio, media, theater, etc.) with a view to a transmission that is intended to be optimistic and creative, universal and spiritual, enlightening and instructive… to bring us closer to a better world that would rhyme well… with happiness! Thank you!

Monday, February 25, 2013 – Cobb – Thank you
I am just a young man from 93. And I wanted to thank you because I really liked The Soul of the World . I am really not a follower of religions but you opened me up to philosophy and I can only be grateful to you. Because I realized that it was important to choose your way of life and to what extent this can influence our way of thinking! Now and obviously we do not agree on all points. At the same time, I am only 14 years old and I still have a lot to learn. Thank you again because you know how to speak to young people. And it is not every day that we can read such works.

Monday, February 25, 2013
– Carine Cluze – carinecluze@gmail.com – Impatience with the Absolute Regarding impatience with the absolute, can we speak of spiritual life without God? It seems to me that it is a question of the same unity, the same greatness, but signified in different ways. Is it then a divergence of definitions? Perhaps not only that, I think that it refers to the differences between human beings (each one being profoundly singular), and yet all being part of a greater whole. I think that these are different paths that lead to the same Divinity.

Sunday, February 24, 2013
– Claire A – The Roots of Heaven of February 24 As for my previous message, it will be for another time….
In the meantime, I thank you a thousand times for your contributions to J. Kelen.
This lady’s words have often sent shivers down my spine.
Faced with such ideas, I feel once again that it is appropriate to silence the unspeakable aspect of my relationship with the divine and to make my quest a path lined with silence. “God, deliver us from the idea of you.”

Sunday, February 24, 2013
– Nadège Hello, I am only halfway through “healing the world” and I find this book truly inspiring. It would be fantastic if all the younger generations could read this book to become more humble and tolerant. I find that you have a rare open-mindedness and I think that is fantastic. You should be a role model for many people. Keep up the good work!!!

Saturday, February 23, 2013
– Claire A – The Readers' Page Faced with the profusion of praise addressed to you, I wondered if the readers' page was not lacking in reaching the happy medium of an iconoclastic soul. This unfortunate tendency being mine, and despite all the interest I have for the work you offer us, (which would make my task all the more difficult), a call in this direction is beginning to be heard… Will I respond to it…

Saturday, February 23, 2013
– Michel – La Garde (Var) – An unexpected release Dear Sir (and here I mean dear in the sense of precious)
After much hesitation, I have timidly decided to write to you about something altogether singular, as it is so personal, even intimate, but essential in my eyes. First of all, and although you must (quite rightly) hear it every day, I am infinitely grateful to you for the wealth of cultural and spiritual discoveries that I have imbibed from your works. Your Little Treatise on Inner Life , in particular, came to answer my questions and my no less inner research at the right time, and offered me insight that I have not been able to find anywhere else, rich, relevant and with that pedagogical clarity that characterizes you.
But there is one thing, unexpected, that leads me to write to you because it has touched me so much: Throughout all my reading, work and reflections on your writings, it is your epilogue of God (interviews with Marie Drucker) that has resonated most intimately in me. Indeed, and for a very long time, I have been powerless to note the inconsistencies of my belief in Jesus Christ, the unanswered questions about this belief, the doubts succeeding the desire for certainty. The significant "fluctuations" of my faith, even my orientations towards other spiritual paths, kept me in an interminable and very unsatisfying internal debate, feeling incapable of seeing clearly. It was when I read your journey, in this epilogue, that this clarity came. Beyond all those that you had given me elsewhere, it was the proximity of my uncertainties and your questions that freed me from this false debate from which I wanted to obtain a single and definitive answer.
You made me realize that faith is alive and therefore moving, since it is at the heart of us, who are full of questions.
Now, like you, I think, I see God more in the eyes of a child than in the splendor of cathedrals, more in an Alpine spring than in Sunday services.
I blamed myself for not knowing how to find a stable faith, and you freed me from the guilt of this "flashing faith," to use your own quote from Edgar Morin. This represents a real step forward for me. I am in the habit of saying that nothing great is accomplished that does not pass through the heart. This is where you touched me, and my soul through it. In this, you have made me grow. I sincerely wanted to tell you this and humbly thank you. Yours.

February 23, 2013
– Jean-Pierre Thirion – Grenoble Frédéric, hello and…Thank you!
content of your book “The Healing of the World,” which I have just finished.
Thank you, because it seems to me to be a tremendous “revival” of hope by giving substance to the common and shared meaning of all these little new human experiences scattered across the planet (and which, considered individually, seem lost in the midst of a world gone mad).
I will do everything possible to spread your book around me, in order to breathe this wind of inner strength and courage that I am imbued with after reading it. For my part, I was deeply touched by the unfolding of your analysis throughout the book. This is the first time, I believe, that I have seen so clearly demonstrated this direct link between the healing of the world and that of each and every one of us.
If I have, often intuitively, felt it as the only solution to the possible planetary disaster we are facing, this is the first time I have seen it described so well and it fills me with joy and hope.
I truly believe that this acquired ability to know how to put the right words to the feelings experienced, remains a primordial outcome for changing the world. The desire to know oneself and to achieve oneself can allow one to acquire this true language; the one that comes from the heart and no longer from the head inspired by the ego (master of the current world).
May your gift of writing and the source that inspires you, allow you to continue this work of research to bring hope into existence and give again the desire to move forward to all those who vegetate today, immobilized by their feeling of powerlessness and yet all inhabited by a real desire for change. I would like, once again, to thank you and express my admiration for this work that you have just accomplished. It seems to me to be a truly valuable tool for the essential shift that Humanity will have to take for its survival and then its future. And I expect, I must admit, as far as you can, a beautiful follow-up to "the healing of the world." Sincerely

Saturday, February 23, 2013 – Andrée – Thank you
Thank you Mr. Lenoir for these publications and media interviews that contribute to sowing positivity, hope, spirituality, to enlightening people a little in these dark atmospheres where we risk getting bogged down; a few lit candles and good news that testify that "all is not yet lost", that more and more people are beginning to react, to wake up, to become aware of this sticky materialism for THE HEALING OF THE WORLD…….

Saturday, February 23, 2013
– St. Max – A Short Treatise on Inner Life Reading you, I have the deep conviction that you are a link between the past and the present, between the universal and the personal, between the intimate and the public.
I discover with simple words the ideas that inhabit me, that motivate my existence and that I cannot express with the simplicity that emerges from this “Short Treatise on Inner Life.” We find in this collection the communion of ideas of the great ancient and contemporary thinkers, popularized to live in the sense of being and, above all, to exist as a being made of qualities and traumas.
Like an Alchemist, you lead us to transcend the philosopher’s stone of our existence by taking in hand the right reason for life; to live for oneself and to shine for others.
I have already given 4 books of the “Short Treatise on Inner Life” to those around me so that these friends who are dear to me can find their inner path in the right and measured reason of self-knowledge. Yours faithfully

– Fabien – Essey-lès-Nancy 54 – Book Tibet 20 keys to understanding Mr. Frédéric LENOIR, I just wanted to say thank you for this book on Tibet. I simply hope that world leaders can influence China and reconsider the future of Tibet. Thank you. Sincerely.

Friday, February 22, 2013 – Esther – Thank you
. Simply thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for your work that reconnects us to our inner selves and to spirituality. I wish you the best. Yours.

Wednesday, February 20, 2013
– Nathalie – Book Reading Thank you so much for all your books, inspiring, simple, humble. I am currently reading: A Short Treatise on Inner Life. A question came to me spontaneously. I have always questioned the notions of love and attachment. How do you define love? How do you define attachment? You seem to separate the two exclusively. But I don't see how attachment is necessary for love. Of course, it depends on the definition you give it. Thank you for your attention to this humble question that I am asking.

Tuesday, February 19, 2013 – Stéphanie Chevant – Echo to Denis's message (19.2.13)
I share your thoughts, Denis, but even more, I believe that it is all together that we can make things happen. Even if those you cite have a strong voice, that is not enough. They may be able to open the doors to the highest political spheres, but they need us, and so do politicians. They are only men, even if some are certainly unbearable....
What I would like is for these same spiritual, ecological, and scientific voices that we read to concoct a tool for us that would summarize the world in 30 years if we do not really act. A reality that we could transmit around us through ever more numerous meetings so that people know, reflect, and act in turn. And perhaps in the next elections we could then represent a known force, which might help politicians to bend...
Would that be so utopian, Mr. Lenoir?

– René – rene.gineste.@wanadoo.fr – Congratulations After reading The Philosopher of Christ more than a year ago, I have just finished The Soul of the World , I must thank you for everything you have written that touches the heart and soul. I am a practicing Catholic and head of a humanitarian association with the particularity of being ecumenical and whose status is in its title: Ecumenical Christian Association, PRAYER AND ACTION Romania. We have been working with a city in Romania for 22 years. Excuse me for this digression – this is to tell you my attachment to spirituality followed by action, to prayer so important in our lives (this heart to heart with GOD) and to this prayer vigil that we do each year together as part of the week of Christian unity with our Protestant and Orthodox brothers in communion with our brothers in Romania; this prayer together while respecting the diversity of each; Thank you for these writings of respect, of peace; you have given my heart a moment of happiness, my mind a moment of peaceful meditation, my soul a moment of humility in the joy of this heart to heart with GOD. Thank you, Frédéric; what will the third book be,…..? CORDIALLY

Tuesday, February 19, 2013
– Denis – The Healing of the World Hello everyone, I just finished this book which reflects many of my ideals.
One thing bothers me deeply: few people, who are truly caught up in the infernal spiral of the world, will read this book, or if they do, they have no choice but to implement its precepts, being far too busy with basic survival.
There is an emergency, and only people who have time in front of them can think about another world; the majority are bowing under the steamroller of the society we have built for ourselves.
Shouldn't people like Frédéric Lenoir, Hubert Reeves, Stéphane Hessel, and many others unite their voices to open our eyes and minds? And succeed in putting pressure on politicians who are not setting an example at all, not at all….
Because in silence, I am afraid that all these reflections will remain dead letters...

– Séverine – Conferences and book signings schedule Hello and a big thank you for making your talents as a philosopher, among others, available to all of us…
L'Ame du Monde to my mother-in-law for Christmas , and she has made it her bedside Bible!!
I would simply like to know if any conferences or book signings are planned for March or April, in Toulouse or Montpellier, so that I can bring her to meet you… Thank you. Webmaster's response: I suggest you subscribe to the Newsletter to be kept informed of upcoming conferences as soon as they are scheduled, in fact, there are none at the moment.

– Carine Cluze – carinecluze@gmail.com – The acceleration of time Hi Frédéric, I just listened to your conference about the acceleration of time, obviously I loved it and I have shared your point of view and your analysis for a long time.
I understand better why I can't stand the ad that says "the world is moving", because at that moment I hear that the world has gone mad. All my affection.

Sunday, February 17, 2013 – Roby – roby.rousselot@voila.fr – Ch. Bobin
I pushed open the gate of the abandoned garden. I opened a work by Monsieur Bobin, a butterfly flew out of the book, jostling a snowflake, a strange light emanates from the center of the object, a strange silence… behind in the distance an invention by Bach, on the music stand an open blue notebook.
I perceive what I can perceive, perhaps not always the same thing as the author, and yet I believe I join him at the climax. It doesn't matter, I find a drop of water in the shape of a diamond or the other way around….
I do not wish to paraphrase the author but humbly speak a little of the same language. And laugh with his infectious and spontaneous laughter that we find in certain wise people…
Thank you, Monsieur Lenoir, for having him a second time at your microphone.

Saturday, February 16, 2013 – Nicole
I, who say I am agnostic, since I discovered your writings… doubt has crept into me. How to believe in nothing and continue to suffer.
To exist is a fact, to live is an art has become my favorite phrase.
I want to read everything you write…
I have read your three novels as well as The Secret , A Short Treatise on Inner Life and Socrates Jesus Buddha . I devoured The Healing of the World . I have just bought The Soul of the World .
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. With all due respect.

– Henry – Crépy en Valois (60) – Masterpiece The renunciation of Pope Benedict XVI brings me back to the great universal values stated by Frédéric Lenoir in The Healing of the World
Truth…….. of speech
Justice……. accuracy of judgment
Respect….. of oneself
Freedom ….. to choose
Love…… of one’s neighbor
Beauty …… of gesture
In short…. a masterpiece of humanity and humility.

– Catherine…large suburb of Montreal Hello, even from Quebec, a discovery: you yourself Mr. Lenoir. I have been open to this world of personal growth, meditation, energy for several years… Many books in my library and one of the latest being “The Secret”.
Every morning 30 minutes of reflection with your book. Highlighted to come back to it later. 8th chapter to discover and I am under the spell of your evolution. “Small treatise on inner life” is a book to work on yourself. Thank you!! I can’t wait to discover the others… hoping to be able to get them in Quebec. Best to you and continue on your path.

Friday, February 15
– Marie-Christine MIAULT -Saint Omer de Blain 44- The Healing of the World Hello Sir, and of course thank you for your various works and radio programs. Reading your book "The Healing of the World" revived my memory of the discussions we had with friends when I was 20 years old and something (30 years ago!). Discussion around politics: it seemed obvious to us at the time that for a "good living together", a respect for nature and human beings, any government had to associate (in a way to be defined) philosophers, "thinkers" in order to give a "soul" to the conduct of a State, a meaning to its action. You say you feel tremors in our ways of seeing life. I have the feeling that there is more than a tremor. I work in a nursery, I am also a yoga teacher and a volunteer secretary in a socio-cultural center: every day I meet people around me who have this desire to live better together in harmony with nature. Opponents of useless construction projects say nothing else (example: the airport project at Notre Dame des Landes, we ask that the money, whether public or private, be used for something useful. There is so much to do, for example rebuilding the Baumettes prison! Vinci would honor itself by building housing or useful roads or transport useful to everyone on a daily basis). The "scandal" of horse meat in dishes supposedly prepared with beef, as well as that of anti-cholesterol drugs, will, I hope, awaken our consciences. We can learn, change until the day we die, it is never too late. Thank you for awakening our consciences by bringing within everyone's reach the thoughts of great philosophers who thus nourish our spirit. I compare your work to that of Jean-Claude Ameisen. Continue to broadcast on all radio waves (even those that are not used to it, because knowledge insinuates itself into each of us and every human being can and has the right to receive it).
Personally, it is reading Krishnamurti that touched me the most. His thought seems universal to me since it transcends cultural boundaries. He tells us: "The outside world is intimately connected, you are not separate from the rest of the world. You are the rest of the world" (in "The Flame of Attention"). I find that this sentence resonates well with your book!

– Roby Rousselot – Jazz and spirituality I am a jazz musician. I have a particular interest in this phenomenon called improvisation.
It is a mystery to me, this spontaneous activity of expression coming from I don't know where?
In your next program on France Culture you will talk about the spiritual roots of jazz.
I think that the spirituality of blues, gospel, and perhaps other ritual music in the world that frames the stages of life and sooner or later enters a jazz composition will obviously be discussed.
But is it possible to talk about the mystery of the spontaneous musical discourse that is improvisation, a central element of jazz, also used as a starting point for the composition of Bach JS (for example)?

Wednesday, February 13, 2013 – Colibris Joyeux – Bobin and Lenoir on France Cultuuure ???
A quick hello in passing… I just discovered your site… What was my surprise and my joy… unreasonably unreasonable to discover, at the same time, the voice of C. Bobin and yours!!! A true enchantment…
Carried into your novels by the imaginations of both of you, I am simply astonished to grasp the musicality of your embodied voices… You come to Life… You are alive…
I realize that I had never thought about it when reading you before…
I find it funny… and joyful… simply! Continue to delight us… Thank you Life 🙂 Thank you too 😉
Big kisses… and a thousand thoughts, Sincerely.

– Henry – Crépy-en-Valois (60) After reading Frédéric Lenoir's The Healing of the World and this awareness, how can we be the change we want in the world? In "The Courage to Be Yourself," Jacques Salomé, a psycho-sociologist of communication, suggests breaking out of the current system that is UNDERMINING us, using a method called ESPERE.
For people who feel unwell professionally, he offers a survival manual in the world of work.
Other issues from this same author are available on couples, parents, teachers; your life will be changed forever.

– OM Peace Love Alexis The source is this unlimited reservoir of love, wisdom, and energy in the universe. For you, this term may evoke God or the universal spirit or the unity of all things or even your true essence. However we represent it, this source is Happiness and Love, it is linked in each of us, here and now in the moment, in our inner being.

– Catherine Feher Dear Frédéric. It was a great joy for me to listen to your conference this January 24th. You are trying to raise the level of our thoughts and make us aware of the emotions that are essential to the survival of human beings and our dear planet. Then, during your dedication, we spoke too briefly about the Baha'i Faith…. Just like you, I would have liked a longer conversation, but your time was too tight for us to allow more time… I hope to have the opportunity to converse more easily with you. In the meantime, you have my gratitude and my deep respect for the teachings given each day, thanks in part to the serenity acquired by reading your works. See you soon.

Saturday, February 2, 2013 – Sandrine – Essonne – 3 inspirations
Dear Frédéric, If you were able to recognize, discover your 3 great masters of life that are Socrates, Jesus, Buddha, I too found my 3 great figures of inspiration, of comfort:
– Hernan Huarache Mamani
– Darpan
– Frédéric Lenoir
Thank you very much for being who you are and thank you for helping us to feel better;)

– Discipline Dear Frédéric, I read your books and your magazine with great attention. But I am very surprised when surfing the net to see the attacks you are subjected to by a site that begins with "our lady...". Without arguing, why, you who are consensual and ready for any openness, do you not respond to this blog that could not be more defamatory? Sincerely. "As in the little tale recounted in my work The Soul of the World (p. 101), I try to be as insensitive as a dead man in the face of praise and insults! Yours." FL

Wednesday, January 30, 2013 – Viviane – On va tous y passer program
As the last representative of the Neanderthal woman, I thank you for your words heard on Tuesday about the world of domination and patriarchy. If people like you, who have access to a large audience, start talking about it so openly, I think the world will finally have a chance to heal. I was touched by the passion in your voice. Be blessed!

– Valéry H. – Belgium Thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for all the good vibes you send through your works. You allow us to appreciate the richness of philosophy and a more “open” spirituality. By reading or listening to you, we appreciate the world with different eyes. I discovered you with “The Promise of the Angel,” which kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. I continued with “The Secret,” a true little gem of humanism and an ode to the beauty of our world. Finally, I have just finished “Short Treatise on Inner Life,” which, as the back cover so aptly puts it, helps us lead a good, happy life, in harmony with ourselves and others. The little brackets I placed at the edge of the text to highlight certain passages are like markers that help us move forward, put things into perspective, and feel good. Your books are highly recommended because they do more good than many medicines and offer as much pleasure as a good piece of chocolate. Thank you again.

– Geoffroy I have read several of your books, seen your play 'Divine Goodness', I am touched by your testimonies that I have heard on sets or via the internet. What can I say... Except to say 'thank you'. A lot of accuracy, humanity, teachings and all this with a concern for accessibility. It does a lot of good for the soul and the heart.

– Tournepierres – The Healing of the World Dear Frédéric Lenoir, I heard you on France Inter this morning. I will buy your book because it deals with everything that is urgent for the planet. I don't know if you have read "Au Coeur de la Monnaie" by Bernard Liétaer, which I had the privilege of translating from English to French. This book deals with the taboo subject of the monetary creation of "masculine currencies." It contains little-known and very interesting information on feminine currencies from other eras. This is an essential point for understanding the systemic crisis. It is also a book full of optimism like yours.
You may also be interested in the latest report from the Club of Rome: "Halt to the All-Powerful Banks" published by Odile Jacob. This book scientifically demonstrates that our "modern" monetary systems are necessarily leading us, for structural reasons, towards increasingly serious crises. Since this topic is taboo in the media, it is important that authors who are as aware of the dangers of groupthink as you are be aware of it.
Thank you for your defense of nature and humanism.

– Céline – Thank you After 2 years of “depression,” your writings were an illumination for me!! I have already bought several copies of your book to share with the people I love! You have managed, in a simple and clear way, to make your readers aware of the essential values of life! Reading your latest writing “The Soul of the World” was a real cure for well-being for me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 – Sibylla – Intervention on France Inter
I just wanted to thank you for what you said during the program “on va tous y passer” on France Inter; It's funny, I never listen to this show, I wanted to podcast something else, and I heard you live: there, I couldn't believe it, because, with a few nuances, you said everything that I regularly say around me without being taken too seriously, whether it's about our individual responsibility (even if I don't think it stops at consumer choices, but also concerns political choices and commitments), about the astonishing impact of our meat consumption on the environment and in particular on water resources (as on North/South trade), and finally on the importance of rebalancing in favor of feminine values, including for women, because I don't believe that the desire of so many women - Western women in particular - to want to be "men like the others" is liberating... So thank you, it feels good, I feel less alone, especially on the evolution from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic, even if there are other theses on the power of men over women, from the worship of goddesses to that of a "God the father"... I would have liked to have the opportunity to discuss this with you, these subjects fascinate me, perhaps an opportunity will arise... In the meantime, I will read your books! And perhaps one day I will send you mine...

– Delphine – The Oracle of the Moon Hello, I devoured The Oracle of the Moon and it has become my favorite book. I would love to be able to have my partner, who is Italian, read it. Do you plan to have it translated into Italian? Webmaster's response: Indeed, The Oracle of the Moon has not been translated into Italian to date, all Italian publishers having refused it in 2007, as incomprehensible as that may seem.

– Isabelle – Vincennes (94) Thank you. Simply thank you, Mr. Lenoir, for being who you are. It is a long and exciting process to become who we are, and you show us the way in an exemplary manner.
Thank you also for sharing your knowledge and thoughts on the world, life, spirituality, religions, always with moderation, discernment, tolerance, openness, and kindness. Your words ring true to my ears. Each reading illuminates and nourishes my soul. Each program, where you introduce us to new guests, is for me a wonderful opening, a source of joy, inspiration, and emotion (I am thinking in particular of the interviews with Christian Bobin, Jacqueline Kelen, Alexandre Jollien, Jean Vanier, Matthieu Ricard, and others I am forgetting).
Thank you again.

– Maggy – Gravelines First of all, please accept my best wishes for 2013, may it bring you health, joy, happiness, and peace. I would like to thank you for writing your two latest books, “The Soul of the World” and “The Healing of the World,” which, in my opinion, should be included in our children’s school curriculum. They contain life lessons that, if taught, would bring peace to the world. I think that helping your neighbor is the goal you have set for yourself in life, and you are accomplishing it wonderfully. Continue on this path of tolerance and write us more beautiful books about humanity.

– Jean-Michel CHODZ'KO Hello Mr. LENOIR,
One of my daughters gave me your little treatise on the inner life for Christmas. I find it wonderful, both in its grandeur and simplicity. While reading it, I thought that you were like a big brother to me, despite my 60 years.
I completely share your spiritual conceptions of a non-painful Christianity, and of a Buddhist detachment limited to objects. My career as a senior executive has shown me the vanity of having and the importance of being. I am going to give your book to my close friends to share with them, and I am going to read The Healing of the World. Thank you again for your vision of the world and your talent! Best regards.
PS: I bought The World of Religions but I find its price a little high.

– J. Pariselle – Moorea (French Polynesia) God knows if I am agnostic but he probably doesn’t know the great pleasure I had reading “L’oracle della Luna”! Thank you!

– Anne-Marie Rousset – Mios (33) Hello Sir!
I have just started your latest book and after reading “The Soul of the World”. I have just read “The Little Treatise on Inner Life” at my eldest son’s house (I am delighted that my son has discovered this little gem). Indeed, I have discovered in you a person who speaks of what touches us deep down with such simplicity and humanity….Your knowledge through this knowledge reinforces my feelings and helps me to move forward for my own good and that of humanity…. Thank you, it is neither fanaticism nor obsequiousness, but simply because I find in your readings Man on his path…… Respectfully and cordially.

– Stéphanie Chevant Hello,
… I just watched the C dans l'air program on Monday, December 24. I think this is the first time in this program that I have heard such a clear and positive message about this “crisis” that the media are demonizing. It feels good.
I didn’t know you. I was touched by your interventions, especially the one in favor of animals… Thank you.
Will you be giving a conference or something else, in or near Grenoble in 2013? Have a very good end of the year. Kind regards.

– Marianne Good evening Mr. Lenoir,
I am writing these few lines to wish you a very happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas! But also, to thank you for guiding me to find my path in life. Thanks to your books, but also through your conferences, you have always been able to answer all my questions about life, each time conveying an extraordinary spiritual message, and thus you have been able to give me back the desire to delve deeper into my Catholic religion. I don't know if it is suffering that gives us more impetus in life, but each day that passes gives me even more strength to fight to face my mother's Alzheimer's disease, but also to carry out my two battles that are closest to my heart: "The Rights and Dignity of Disabled People in France" and "The Animal Cause". These battles that I have been fighting for many years now, despite the difficulties and obstacles that arise, have given real meaning to my life as a woman and today, if I have not given up and if I want to go even further, it is largely thanks to you! Thank you again for your beautiful quote on life "Existing is a fact, living is an art". Best regards.

– Danielle Piccamiglio Thank you for your books, your editorials in "Le Monde des Religions," your conferences, your television appearances. Your book "Petit traité de vie intérieure" is my bedside book and helped me overcome a serious nervous breakdown last year. I am an atheist, yet my spiritual values are in line with yours. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely,

– Robert Rousselot – Saint Doulchard (18) One more message may be in your inbox. But for a long time I have wanted to express my gratitude to you by listening to you on France Culture, and by reading you. It does me a world of good to hear people who have something essential to say. I thank you for offering them a free space on this radio. I am reassured about my idea of the world and my feelings when listening to these exceptional beings recharge me to the highest degree. These are words that we hardly hear anymore and when we do hear them I am not sure that we listen to them fully.
Currently I am listening to the podcast of the interview with Mr. BOBIN C; who has seduced me for a long time in my readings. And I laugh, I smile, and I cry. I also cry before his authenticity of being and his great simplicity like many people you have received. On a desert island I think I would take one of his books. But I can't find a way to let him know the good he does. Let him rest assured, I like the rain in the morning even if I can't distinguish the applause, but I can admire a white butterfly fanning my yard and greeting me by gathering nectar from the flower. (thank goodness). Fabrice Midal, JC Carrière, JY Leloup, M. Ricard, M. Cazenave (of the living and the gods) to name the most recent. Mozart always held the same discourse throughout his many works. It's a bit the same thing in your show. Thank you.
I am not a believer, yet I drink in spiritual and philosophical nourishment on your airwaves, and your book urges me to practice meditation. I hope to be read, in any case it does me good to write it. roby.rousselot@voila.fr

– Séverine – Paris Hello, just a quick message to tell you that I really enjoyed your book: “Petit traité de vie interieure” which gives me strength and courage. I laughed, smiled, I was sometimes amazed by the reality, the truth of your words. I often agreed with you. All the chapters are very interesting. I especially liked: Acting and not acting, becoming free, Here and now, Confidence and letting go and taming death (which is so true but hard for me to admit! = still a long job 🙂 ) A little personal conclusion: I think I am on the right path, even if I am only 29 years old, I think I am following the path of wisdom, a long but so interesting path which makes me want to live even more, to love life. Living is an art, as you say, life is learned, built and because it is a learning process, it makes life even more beautiful and interesting. Thank you for all this advice, your story, your references...thank you very much.
