"Is there a more desirable experience than joy?"
More intense and profound than pleasure, more tangible than happiness, joy is the manifestation of our vital energy. Joy cannot be decreed, but can it be tamed? Provoked? Cultivated?
I would like to propose here a path to self-fulfillment based on the power of joy. A path of liberation and love, the antithesis of the artificial happiness offered by our narcissistic and consumerist culture, but also different from the wisdoms that aim for ataraxia, that is to say, the absence of suffering and disturbance.
For my part, I prefer a wisdom of joy, one that embraces all of life's sorrows, accepting them in order to better transform them. Following in the footsteps of Zhuangzi, Jesus, Spinoza, and Nietzsche, it is a wisdom founded on the power of desire and on an acceptance of life, of all life…
