Presentation
“We are probably witnessing, and I sincerely hope so, the transition to a higher ethical stage where humanist thought is emancipated from its anthropocentric framework to extend to all sentient beings who populate the Earth. From then on, showing “humanity” no longer simply means respecting other human beings, but every living being, according to their degree of sensitivity and consciousness. Life has expressed itself on Earth through abundant diversity. Since human beings are today the most conscious and powerful species, may they use their strengths no longer to exploit and destroy these forms of life, but to protect and serve them. For me, this is our greatest vocation: protectors and servants of the world.”
