Short biography
Philosopher and sociologist. Doctor of the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS).
Writer. Author of some fifty works (essays, novels, stories, encyclopedias), translated into some twenty languages and sold in ten million copies worldwide, he also writes for the theatre, television (documentaries) and comic strips.
In 2016, he co-founded the SEVE Foundation and association , Savoir Être et Vivre Ensemble (under the aegis of the Fondation de France) and in 2017, he created the association Ensemble pour les Animaux .
In November 2024, he founded La Maison des sagesses in order to disseminate philosophical knowledge in the sense of an art of living, as the Greeks understood it.
He divides his time between his main residence in Corsica, Paris and the rest of the world where he gives numerous seminars and lectures.
