Tuesday, April 15, 2025 – Monique – Pamphlet | THE WAR
War,
which enriches those who provoke it,
and impoverishes those who fear it,
You, unjust war,
you want our death
, but you will not have our souls.
Your desire for power and destruction,
you brandish them in the name of your glory.
Abominable and odious thing,
this war of the powerful
of this world,
The children are at your mercy
and nothing can satisfy your desire.
This war, this final war,
for there will be no others,
will have destroyed everything.
Nature, on its knees,
will swallow up all life.
Earthlings will be nothing more
than a memory on this blue planet.
Ogress, you want to take
what doesn't belong to you.
But you will lose everything this time.
Your wealth
No more hope for reconstruction
Saturday, March 29, 2025 – Marlych – Thank you for this inner journey and this opening to the world | I don't know if this comment will reach you, but after reading your book, *Jung, a Journey to Self*, I wanted to express my deep gratitude. This is the second journey I've undertaken through your words, after your book on desire, and these readings have profoundly marked and transformed me.
I emerge with heightened awareness, a greater openness to life, and renewed optimism, knowing that there is still so much to discover. You have offered me both a new window for inner reflection and a precious filter for better understanding others and the world.
This discovery of Jung, conveyed through your writing, transported me out of time, into that inner space where the dialogue between the self and the universe takes on its full meaning.
Thank you for offering us these literary journeys that enrich our lives and continually awaken our curiosity.
Monday, March 17, 2025 – Jean-Claude – The Spinoza Miracle | Hello, I don't know if these words will reach you, but in any case, it gives me pleasure to express my thanks and gratitude after reading "The Spinoza Miracle." You have made a valuable author accessible to me, one who is terribly impenetrable for a layperson. I have gained great insights, reliable points of reference, and fascinating perspectives, and I am very grateful.
Congratulations and thank you for this excellent work. Sincerely, JCM
Sunday, January 19, 2025 – Isanna – Consternation | Abbé Pierre, a term that no longer holds much meaning today. “My God, why?” Title of a book published in October 2005. My God, why? Why did he do and act in this way in the name of our beloved Jesus and our Virgin Mary, in the name of God, as he so eloquently expressed in his writings and words? We are left speechless, yet filled with an inner revolt, an unprecedented indignation in the face of lies and pretense, before victims who today courageously speak out, with all the humility and suffering they have endured.
Saturday, October 19, 2024 – Gilliane – Thank you | Simply THANK YOU to Frédéric Lenoir who, through his writings, his lectures, and his guided meditation sessions, makes me realize that life is worth living despite its ups and downs. Positivity attracts positivity; you have to know how to hold on and tell yourself that life is made up of "lows" but also "highs." Nothing is guaranteed, but with perseverance, you can succeed. And Frédéric Lenoir has this invaluable quality of touching the hearts of those who are searching for meaning in their lives; and I am one of them. Thank you, Frédéric.
Saturday, September 7, 2024 – moniquerenault016[at]gmail.com – The Soul of the World | Thank you for your book "The Soul of the World," which I have read three times to fully grasp the thoughts of these wise men who gathered together. However, there is something about the philosopher character that bothers me. That you mention Spinoza is one thing, but was it necessary to specify the Masonic lodge she belongs to? For a woman like me, without much formal education and (poor to boot), even if it has nothing to do with wisdom and intelligence, it's almost an insult. The selection and exclusion of human beings is not philosophy but politics; and above all, it goes against spirituality and faith; it's a shame! Nevertheless, I congratulate you on this book. I think you won't be surprised by my comment. Sincerely, Monique
Friday, July 19, 2024 – clara.devi[at]outlook.fr – Abbé Pierre, my brother, my friend whom I will always love | Hello! I am outraged by all these testimonies that are coming in… Rape is very fashionable!! Abbé Pierre, in his pure conscience, always stated that he had suffered from a lack of affection in his childhood, and that his vows of chastity were difficult but sacred to him. He said it simply and repeatedly, that sometimes he had a few occasional deviations. But he never had an affair with a woman. He was a human being. He was normal. He was neither a pervert nor a pedophile. He was a normal man, sound in body and mind. He said it in his will. He stated it again at the end of his life in an interview with Marc Olivier Fogiel… Was it necessary to smear him? I am saddened and sorry. I knew him personally. He certainly had a natural charm, and we also know that his close circle protected him from certain hysterical women… I hope that positive testimonies will be published on this subject.
Thursday, May 2, 2024 – Frédéric – The Odyssey of the Sacred | I discovered your book at the BnF bookstore. After reading the back cover of “The Odyssey of the Sacred,” I immediately bought your book. Your work perfectly complements “Sapiens: A Short History of Humankind” by Yuval Harari, and has allowed me to open my eyes to my spirituality, even though I remain an atheist.
Thanks to you, I see our world differently. Thank you so much for your book.
Tuesday, April 23, 2024 – Eric – The Odyssey of the Sacred | Congratulations on your fabulous work, the result of an enormous amount of effort. A fan of Bohler and Harari (just like you, if I understand you correctly), I greatly appreciated your approach, which complements their perspectives and offers a complementary angle to this extraordinary reflection on world history and its possible evolution. Thank you.
Sunday, April 7, 2024 – Carolina – Thank you! The Paths of the Sacred | Dear Frédéric, I discovered you on Frédéric Lopez's program; what a beautiful testimony you shared with us! I then rushed to the library to devour several of your books, and I'm currently enjoying the Arte documentaries "The Paths of the Sacred"—what a treat! Thanks to you, I travel without taking a plane, and I grow through the countless questions your various works raise for me. Thank you, Frédéric, for your profound teachings! Sincerely,
Carolina
Saturday, April 6, 2024 – Violeta – The Odyssey of the Sacred | Simply a fantastic book. One to pass on to young people.
Wednesday, March 17, 2024 – Julie – Acknowledgments | A huge thank you for this wonderful gift you gave us with The Odyssey of the Sacred . I discovered it in the bookstore a few weeks after deciding I'd like to have a comprehensive overview of all the spiritualities of humankind… and you've done it!!! And of course, you've gone far beyond my expectations. You've just given me the final permission I needed… it's with a light heart and full of love that I will continue to participate in the re-enchantment of the world, as I promised myself in my earliest childhood… little Julie thanks you
Monday, March 4, 2024 – BenAissa – Reading of “The Consolation of the Angel” | Hello. I have just finished reading The Consolation of the Angel and I thank you for this beautiful intergenerational story full of wisdom and love.
Wednesday, February 28, 2024 – Liliane – The Odyssey of the Sacred | Thank you, sir, for this book and so many others. I am nourished by your reading and appreciate your ability to share and teach. This book provides me with constructive knowledge and opens up spiritual perspectives whose presence I had only vaguely sensed within myself. Thank you again.
Sunday, February 25, 2024 – Mélanie – Thank you | I finished reading your book, "The Odyssey of the Sacred," with a heavy heart. I can only express my gratitude. Your book came into my hands following a series of extraordinary events. This book invited me to rediscover the magic in my daily life, incorporating the rituals I had abandoned during these events, and to reconnect with that profoundly simple part of myself that lives in the present moment. Thank you so much.
Friday, January 26, 2024 – Marie-Hélène – My book “The Green Notebook” | In this life, I set out without asking myself any questions. I had to succeed. Succeed in my studies, my training, my professional career, and then my family life. I feel I can say that I have fulfilled this requirement. But while I am honest with myself, the same cannot be said for the synonym for success, which is “self-fulfillment.” Seen from this perspective, my confidence is shaken. Why? Although I bear some responsibility, the environment in which I spent my childhood and adolescence did not help me understand the importance of expressing my desires, of going deep within myself and discovering my dreams.
The word “succeed” is everywhere. But self-fulfillment is even more important to me. Hence the need to learn to know myself first and foremost. That's why I wanted to write the "Green Notebook," that is, Paulette's dream!
Wednesday, January 24, 2024 – Sigrid – The Angel's Consolation | Simply thank you for your books. I thoroughly enjoyed them. One question: is there a sequel planned for your book “The Angel's Consolation”? What happens to Hugo after Blanche? Thank you again, Sigrid from Bordeaux (33)
Wednesday, January 17, 2024 – Véronique – Jung, a Journey to Self | In analysis since January 2023, on a spiritual retreat at the Abbey of Saint Gildas de Rhuys, among the books I brought with me was yours, “Jung, a Journey to Self.” Thank you for illuminating my quest and providing answers to my inner questions. This is made possible by the very pedagogical way in which you bring Jung's work to light. I read “My Life,” and I hadn't been able to fully grasp his philosophy, but I had an intuition that he had something to tell me. Thanks to you, I can access my individuation and accept the faith within me—this numinous being that the artifice of a certain purely demonstrative religious practice tends to erase from our soul.
Wednesday, December 27, 2023 – Monique – Poem |
These prayers you say in the dark (title taken from a novel I haven't read)
I pray; my thoughts are illuminated,
In the calm of the night,
Everything seems unreal to me,
The beauty of the world appears to me,
its darkness fades away,
gentleness replaces its brutality.
I pray for a life without torpor,
I pray for the world that no longer prays.
God speaks to me, I listen,
He lulls me with hope,
When will I see my son again?
He tells me in the ear of my heart,
Then, my prayer falls asleep,
in a completely peaceful night.
Monday, December 25, 2023 – Jem – Conciliation | Hello dear author, the theme of reconciliation should be addressed, as it contains the event of "reconciliation," which seems necessary in our time. I am interested in developing this topic further. Thank you very much for your writings and your ideas that inspire certain spiritual elevations. THANK YOU
Monday, June 26, 2023 – Monique Renault – Making Society More Humane | Young children are said to be more anxious, and for good reason: society, with its inhumane development focused on success, money, and power, distorts all human relationships by pointing the finger at emotions as if they were dangerous, when in fact they have been the very foundation of the psyche, the soul, since the beginning of time. "Yes," you might say, "but artificial intelligence will solve the problem. Humanoids on the horizon, poor humans!" Ladies and gentlemen of the psychological profession, you are looking for a cause where there isn't one, yet it is right before our eyes. Our children are reacting, and that's a good thing; it proves they have good mental health. What child wouldn't be anxious in this society that imposes this anguish on them against their will? Humans are free as long as they can express what they feel is unjust in the actions of the unjust. And who can see injustice better than children, who haven't yet been shaped by an unjust society? Leave our children alone! If there are "madmen," look elsewhere. Making society more humane—that's the goal we adults should have, so that young people can live and develop without trouble.
Monday, June 26, 2023 – marie.eric5555[at]orange.fr – Doubt in Song | Like everyone else, I too have experienced periods of doubt. Having some songwriting skills, I decided to turn it into a song. Perhaps some of you will recognize yourselves in my lyrics.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqRJVatrGv2tU
Thank you all, and Mr. Lenoir, please continue to make us think.
Monday, May 15, 2023 – Gygy Sastre – THANK YOU dear Frédéric for helping me so much to understand my life | Our Lives
Many of our memories pass by,
and we cannot hold on to them at all.
The painful ones often dwell on us,
but the happiest ones keep us going.
Our happiness is rebuilt every day,
a difficult balance between all our great sufferings
, physical and moral, since our birth sorrows
, and our joys, our laughter, little lights of love.
Filling the blank page of a whole life,
a difficult task in the face of each of our desires,
while remaining true to our only convictions,
letting our joys and passions express themselves.
Whatever path we've taken,
let's be mindful of the moments lost;
it's very often halfway through
that we touch reality.
Saturday, May 6, 2023 – Stéphane – The Soul of the World | Hello. I read your book in one day, which is quite an achievement for me, as I have poor eyesight. What's more, it was a librarian friend who recommended it to me. What can I say about your book? Wow, magnificent!!! I recognized aspects of my own personality that some people consider abnormal. I'm eagerly awaiting volume 2. Congratulations!
Sunday, March 5, 2023 – Michel – Christ the Philosopher | I wanted to express my admiration for the magnificent text quoted above.
Without wanting to reveal too much, I am a humble reader, sometimes repulsed by certain aspects of religious Christianity, which leads me to move from a fragile faith to an agnosticism more or less close to a form of atheism… in short, my search is constant, which leads me to consult books on this subject, but each time I delve into your book, I find a freshness reminiscent of the Gospels… Almost every page of my copy is highlighted; it has become my bedside book… all of this tends to draw me closer to this type of spirituality, and I humbly wanted to thank you for it.
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – Virginie – The Power of JOY & SPINOZA | Dear Frédéric, I've finally decided to leave you a comment! After many years of reading your work, listening to your videos, and attending your various talks in Paris, it's always a tremendous pleasure, and even more so now!! I regularly reread your books, especially Spinoza and The Power of JOY, which are true gems for me (what I hadn't understood or missed during a previous reading is now illuminated), and that alone is truly delightful. My son, who is also one of your loyal readers, felt this unknown joy deep within himself while diving with orcas and whales in Norway. For your books, your lectures, your sharing, and your humility, THANK YOU THANK YOU. Virginie
Wednesday, February 15, 2023 – Marie Sabine – Resilience | Hello, I attended your conference in Metz last week on the theme 'Happiness is Learned,' and what struck me was that you mentioned the famous concept of happy frugality, consumerism, and other terms related to ongoing climate and societal change, and that you linked these to happiness. It was a revelation for me. Indeed, I am an activist in everything related to climate change, animal rights, and other causes, and I realize that happiness lies in taking action, setting an example, fighting, and defending those who cannot. I would even go so far as to make a connection with the word 'resilience' which for me is synonymous with happiness because in resilience there is the concept of acceptance, and I sincerely believe that people who are ready to accept happy sobriety - a simple, humble, creative life shared with other people - will find this happiness simple and resilient.
Wednesday, January 25, 2023 – Catherine – Jung | Hello, first of all, thank you for all your books. I just finished "Jung – A Journey to Self," excellent! After recently reading "My Life" by Carl Gustav Jung, which I loved, you provide interesting additional information, including the names and works of all those who knew or studied Jung. And I really appreciate your analysis. Thank you! I enjoy reading your books. Best regards!
Sunday, January 15, 2023 – Mireille – Northern Lights March 2023 | Hello, exploring sponsorships and partnerships – humanitarian aid, aid for children in exile, justice for women – I am shocked by the choice of the luxury hotel, which does not reflect the simple life of the Sami people nor the practice of mindfulness. However, I remain a devoted reader and a supporter of your philosophical approach.
Saturday, January 14, 2023 – Paul Didier – makondidier81[at]gmail.com – Comments on *Desire, a Philosophy * | Hello. I just started reading your brilliant book on desire this week. I'm discovering, in particular, the etymological link between desire and the stars: "Desire is also understood as the driving force of action, as a vital power that frees us from paralysis." Given the negativity of desire, which exists alongside its positivity, shouldn't we try to control it? What private ethics and public policies should we adopt, then, considering the power of desire? I'm continuing to read and I hope to find some enlightening answers.
Monday, December 19, 2022 – NUAGEUXLECTURE – Thank you | I'm pausing my YouTube listening to your book "The Consolation of the Angel" to tell you how comforting these words are to me. Thank you for all the good you bring me – and I hope to many others – THANK YOU
Wednesday, November 9, 2022 – Giga amoroso – Your book “Desire, a philosophy” | You presented your latest book on Télématin today and before rushing to buy it, I wanted to thank you for responding to a need and an expectation of our children with your association “SÈVE” but also of myself by addressing the notion of “desire” long left to the discretion of our consumer society when it would be so essential for our future as I implied with my last poem “Loving the living like a mother” (see message of September 14).
Tuesday, November 8, 2022 – Valérie – A wonderful discovery | Hello, I've only known about Mr. Lenoir for a few months… I must be the only one 😉 I stumbled upon his various lectures and interviews on YouTube and was immediately moved by the topics he addressed, the life force of our philosopher, his determination, and the clarity of his words. As a therapist in my spare time, I try to share this mindset, which is the key to a balanced and happy inner life. Just THANK YOU, Frédo!
Wednesday, October 19, 2022 – Michel – The Spinoza Miracle | Good evening. Of course, speaking about Spinoza through simple writing is a worthwhile endeavor.
It is one of the authors of the works cited as references who suggests this message as a complement to the approach to the divine, to life, to nature in its entirety. Antonio Damasio, a brilliant Portuguese-American neurobiologist, it seems to me, extends, even magnifies, the work of this Dutchman, Spinoza.
Indeed, "The Strange Order of Things" and its simplified version, "Feeling and Knowing," illuminate many ideas through the latest research of this American scholar, deepening them considerably. In particular, the notions of perception and affects and the effects they induce, emotions first and foremost, and the sedimented memorization of affects that are feelings. A sentence taken from the back cover of the first work cited summarizes this thought. "Man is not a thinking system, he is a system inhabited by his feelings and who sometimes thinks."
Wednesday, September 14, 2022 – Giga amoroso – Poem for the climate emergency | My latest poem on the climate emergency and the love of life:
“Loving life like a mother”
Loving and respecting life
can perhaps be best understood by a mother.
She alone knows the pain of giving life.
Man, in his life, is guided by his desires.
Of love, but also too many desires, too much power,
to the point of justifying his destruction without seeing,
without any regret or the slightest glance!
At his last breath he will understand too late.
But in light of the tragedies, the consequences
of the behavior due to his existence,
he may simply react,
and suddenly have the "desire to act".
Thursday, August 25, 2022 – Carole – Jung, a Journey to Self | Sir, I would like to thank you for the remarkable work you have produced on Jung's biography and synthesis of his research. I appreciated your way of combining excerpts from his writings and your clear explanation of their content.
As a nurse retraining, I trained in hypnosis and then in another technique that activates a person's imagination to help them express solutions and resources from the unconscious—that is, from the body, mind, and soul. I completely identify with Jung's practice and thought.
As soon as the imagination becomes active, metaphors and physical sensations arise, creating surprise in those I work with, whether they come for a physical, emotional, or even spiritual health issue. The notion of meaning is fundamental to me. What do we want? What will this achieve? How is it useful for us? And Jung demonstrated the importance of these questions.
Friday, August 19, 2022 – Pige – Acknowledgments | I would like to begin by saying "THANK YOU," even though this little word can sometimes be interpreted as a conclusion. For me, know that it is not. This is just the beginning. After a long period of crisis, day after day, watching your various quests and reading your works helps me open myself up to myself, but also to the world. They help me in my daily life, transform me, shape me, even toughen me up, and propel me toward new discoveries, thus producing ever more astonishment, wonder, and commitment. It is true that many call themselves "inspired" but don't inspire many. On the other hand, you are a source of inspiration for me, Mr. Lenoir, and words fail me to express how grateful I am. I would appreciate the opportunity to meet you, but well… One day, who knows. Until then. "The happiest man is he who makes the greatest number of others happy," I quote Diderot. Thank you.
Thursday, August 18, 2022 – Hugues – The Angel's Consolation | Good evening, Frédéric. Your book was on my desk shelf among others my wife had put there without mentioning it to me… I opened it by chance early this evening. I just put it down after reading it in one sitting, my eyes a little moist towards the end, naturally. This beautiful story touched me for several reasons. Almost ten years ago, your "Little Treatise on Inner Life" introduced me to mindfulness and allowed me to begin rebuilding myself. Now I've just opened a notebook to jot down, I don't know what, beautiful things in any case. A desire to go to Kernic Bay (but it's a bit far for tonight), and also to read Contemplations… Thank you for what you write.
Monday, July 25, 2022 – Nicolas – Acknowledgments | I just finished your “Little Treatise on Inner Life” and I feel a profound sense of well-being. Thank you for this insightful and thoughtful sharing. Each chapter of the book is directly linked to one of the promises I made to myself to move forward in my life and savor it. It is only if we succeed in healing our wounds through compassionate inner work and forgiveness that we can cultivate our inner peace and that the world, in turn, can be at peace. Your book, which has become one of my bedside books, encourages me to continue the life journey that my encounter with Vipassana meditation and the discovery of Nonviolent Communication allowed me to begin ten years ago. So I continue to say yes to life, to laugh, to have faith in myself and in life; to reach out to others without fear to share, learn, and feel alive. to express daily, deep within myself, gratitude for this life that has been given to me. Thank you!
Friday, July 22, 2022 – Gérard – The Consolation of the Angel, its positive impact on me | The recent loss of my wife after a long illness against which she fought valiantly has provided me with daily companions of sadness, loneliness, and a lack of zest for life, despite the presence of children, family, and friends.
I have just finished the novel The Consolation of the Angel , in which the heroine, Blanche, nearing physical death, intensely expresses love and joy and recommends living each moment as a gift of life. What is this mysterious connection with her that, from the moment I finished the novel, completely changed my perspective and allowed me to see the time that remains as an opportunity to deepen my awareness and help others? Thank you to Frédéric Lenoir.
Saturday, July 16, 2022 – Thiaseve – Lack | Lack can send us to places where our shadows impose their law.
Without even seeing anything, anger, fear, and hatred become the guides of our choices.
Our vision narrows, becoming smaller and smaller; we look at the world with eyes filled with contempt.
Even the people we love become indistinguishable in our minds.
Vengeance, resentment, jealousy—these incessant movements take hold, but at what cost?
The price is painful, melancholy becomes furious,
others are guilty of our dangerous madness… Introspection may be beneficial,
but for this, inner honesty is the silent key.
Well hidden behind years of accumulated wounds, it is time to confront these concealed truths,
hidden within these masked feelings, which we sometimes even project
in order to rid ourselves of our responsibility. In the moment, soothed, we have the sensation of having won.
Thursday, June 30, 2022 – Giga amoroso – Jun, a journey to self | Not being a literary type, I discovered this immense thinker, philosopher, and visionary researcher, as you say, Frédéric, but above all, a man very close to us, with his flaws and his qualities. In the chapter "The Path" of the journey to self, we perfectly understand the role of our opposites, our contradictions, of the "anima" in the feminine and the "animus" in the masculine, but individuated in our unconscious, which it is useful to understand in order to reach "the wholeness of our being." I recommend your study to all couples who are tearing each other apart and separating without knowing why, when they could continue to love each other while remaining different. Based on his own experience and that of his patients, I found real answers to my own questions about divinity, the numinous, and ancestral religion that we all inherit in our unconscious.
Wednesday, June 8, 2022 – Map – Thank you | Just a huge thank you. I think I've read all your books, but one sentence answered an existential question. I repeat it to myself and share it several times a week, and it gives meaning to my life, which is currently full of upheaval: To exist is a fact, to live is an art.
Thank you for this mantra that encourages me to never give up.
Tuesday, June 7, 2022 – Nadège – The Angel's Consolation | I just had a wonderful time with Blanche, and I would have liked to ask her my own questions about resilience and grief. From birth, are we faced with a process of resilience that continues to shape us? Do we grieve regularly, when we step outside our comfort zone? Is the primary caregiver important in surviving hardships? If they are no longer there, how do we find that inner strength? Blanche was able to answer some of my questions and piqued my curiosity about our capacity to cope. I had a difficult childhood, and two years ago my husband died from a ruptured aneurysm. I found myself alone, managing everything with two young children. What book would you recommend on accepting hardship? It's always a pleasure to read your work. Thank you so much.
Friday, May 6, 2022 – Laetitia Angèle – “The Soul of the World: Compass of My Spiritual Life” | Dear Frédéric, your book “The Soul of the World” has surprised me lately at certain moments in my life. I've decided to use it daily, not by reading it in order like a regular book, but depending on the events in my life, I pick a page “at random.” Several times, I've stumbled upon an answer to my worries, my questions, my negative reactions. I feel as if a benevolent star is communicating with me through your book. You have my gratitude! 🙂
Sunday, April 24, 2022 – Kristal Pierre – My thoughts on novels | Hello A few years ago, while looking for a novel, not one in particular, I was drawn to a title: Crystal Heart . After reading information about the author, as well as the book's summary, I bought two copies, one for myself and the other for a friend. That same day, I read the book in one sitting and found it beautiful, so beautiful that I reread it a second time. A few days ago, I read The Soul of the World in one sitting and was swept away by the beauty of the story. The writing reminded me of a magnificent book I had read a few years earlier. While searching through my books, I found "Crystal Heart" and checked the author's name… It was, of course, the same one 🙂 Today, I'm going to read "Just After the End of the World." Writing that awakens, amazes, and immerses you in the beauty of the sacred. Thank you for these moments of grace. Kristal ❤️
Thursday, March 31, 2022 – Fred – Review of “The Soul of the World” | I greatly enjoyed “The Soul of the World” and “Just After the End of the World.” I am increasingly embracing this philosophy of life and have gained wisdom, which means I no longer have enemies or unbearable moments. Everything is relative, there's no need to stress, what is meant to happen will happen. The important thing is to live these last moments as pleasantly as possible and to share this mindset with those who need it most. Take care of the people around you; the reward is immense. A smile, a handshake, a knowing glance are incredibly valuable.
Friday, March 25, 2022 – Giga amoroso – “Jung, a Journey to Self” | With your latest essay, I am discovering this great visionary who compels us to read you from the very introduction. Although your book was written during the pandemic but before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, you quote his words from 1944: “…but that it is indeed man who constitutes the greatest danger to man. The reason is simple: there is still no effective protection against psychic epidemics; and these epidemics are infinitely more devastating than the worst catastrophes of Nature! The supreme danger that threatens both the individual and entire populations is the psychic danger.”
Sunday, March 20, 2022 – Arlette – Thank you | Thank you, sir, for your humanity and sensitivity. I have just read: OPEN LETTER TO ANIMALS, a
wonderful little book full of tenderness and, above all, a heartfelt cry against all the cruelties inflicted on our animal friends under the pretext, for some, of "traditions" and criminal hunts. Thank you so much, sir. Arlette Biard in Mesland, Loir-et-Cher
Sunday, March 13, 2022 – Anita – Following up on my reading of "Just After the End of the World" | .. To thank you for this initiatory tale, at a time and moment in my life that allows me greater awareness of what is at work on my life's path. As if by chance—but is there really such a thing as chance?—my steps led me to your book as if it were meant to be, a continuation of a fundamental quest to awaken and grow! To become aware of one's ego and its "demands," and to reclaim power over one's emotions in order to experience joy and love, and to open oneself to a liberating path… Your message arrives at a precise moment when I can integrate it and understand it as a gentle gesture and a thank you to life. I greatly appreciate your writing and am very receptive to the words, to the life journeys of the "heroes" (no doubt echoing what I am currently reading about healing tales). Thank you again. Looking forward to seeing and hearing you at a conference, perhaps in our region, so imbued with the energies of nature... anita.stephant[at]gmail.com
Thursday, March 10, 2022 – Moni – Remarks | Hello, I have just finished reading your book "The Spinoza Miracle." I was disappointed by the correspondence from your friend Robert Misrahi, who claims that Spinoza was an atheist and that he spoke of God simply to protect himself, whereas it is always a question of a new vision of God in whom he believes. The word "God" does not belong solely to the Christian religion or other religions. I know what I am talking about, because I was: an atheist until the age of 45 (without any knowledge of God) and a practicing Catholic until the age of 55. Today, I am no longer Catholic, but I still believe in God, and Spinoza enlightened me regarding my rejection of religions (often sectarian, if not always). Fortunately, your response—let's call it "atheism," if you like, since you intend to remain within the biblical definition of God—is helpful. Thank you. Mr. Renault
Saturday, March 4, 2022 – Moni – Recognition | Hello, thank you for your book "The Spinoza Miracle." I'm not an intellectual, but I found only one remedy to understand the meaning of my chaotic life and find inner peace: philosophy. I'm 65 years old, I was a simple administrative secretary with no real ambition. Divorced for over thirty years, I never rebuilt my life because a little voice told me to search—for what? I didn't know. My son's suicide at his father's house in 2012 "awakened" me, as Anthony De Mélo so aptly puts it in his books. I realized I had spent my life waiting for an answer, which I sought in the Catholic religion (I was an atheist until I was 45, like my parents). But in vain! You say that Spinoza is a friend to you; he is also a friend to me, and I will try to read his works even though I know I will only understand a tiny part of them. Thank you. Monique Renault
Thursday, February 24, 2022 – Céline – Thank you for “Jung: A Journey Towards Self” | Congratulations and thank you for your book, “Jung: A Journey Towards Self.” I truly discovered Jung through my exploration of the MBTI, and since then I have been constantly delving into the subject. After reading your book, I now understand why Jung's theories and concepts resonate with me: I share his vision of religion, the importance of considering beings in their entirety, and so many other concepts! I was frustrated when reading Freud's works because I felt that certain aspects of personality or behavior were glossed over or even omitted, and I now understand that I am closer to Jung's thinking than to Freud's. A huge thank you for making Jung's life and concepts accessible. Your book will most certainly be important on my path to individuation.
Sunday, February 20, 2022 – Aurélien – Thank you | Hello, with this message I simply wanted to thank you for your books. I suffer from a chronic illness that makes my daily life very painful, and reading "Wisdom Explained to Those Who Seek It" and "A Short Treatise on Inner Life" has given me a great deal of energy and hope. I look forward to discovering the rest of your work.
I find you to be an excellent teacher (and I'm a qualified math teacher, so I can say that with professional experience 🙂) and you make philosophy accessible to everyone, which is no small feat, especially with a positive message that the world so desperately needs.
I have three young sons (aged 4 to 9), to whom I am beginning to pass on a love of reading. As soon as they are old enough, your books will be among the first I give them. Aurélien
P.S.: I've been thinking about it, there's quite a bit to write about the links between math and philosophy. Perhaps an idea for a future book? 🙂
Friday, February 18, 2022 – Nanou – Soil Extinction | We are facing a massive and immediate problem: soil extinction, meaning that soils are losing their vitality and turning into sand. The SaveSoil movement is a call to action for each of us to urge governments to create policy strategies to revitalize soils. On March 21, we are launching a 100-day global movement to encourage 3.5 billion people to understand the problem, talk about it, and advocate for SaveSoil so that numbers put pressure on our governments. There are interesting achievements from young farmers setting up small farms, and from specialists and scientists who are quantifying and studying…
There is much to be done, but together we can save the soil. Let's make it happen. Thank you #consciousplanet #savesoil

Friday, January 28, 2022 – Roberta – Thank you and thank you again | Hello, I am currently following the 18 Masterclass MentorShow lessons and I can confirm: you are a precious gift. Thank you and thank you again for the opportunity to follow you online because it's not always easy talking to a computer!
Saturday, January 1, 2022 – Quadrifolium – Two Reflections | Thank you, Frédéric, for all the inspiration and insights revealed throughout your pages. What a joy to read a book on Jung in which his spirituality is neither obscured nor mocked. This led me to think that you might be the ideal person to offer us an illuminating biography of Swedenborg, mentioned in the book, and for whom it is almost impossible to find a study without preconceived notions. In *The Power of Joy *, your description of Philia reminded me of the Anam Cara of the Celtic tradition, taken up in his eponymous book by John o'Donohue, the poet and priest who reconnected contemporary Ireland to its Celtic soul. "The one you love, your anam cara, your soul friend, is the truest mirror to reflect your soul." Not translated into French, it would also be a wonderful discovery for French-speaking readers to encounter this much-loved figure in Ireland (…if a publisher were to take an interest in his writings). Thursday, December 30, 2021 – Christophe – Jung, a Journey to Self | Dear Frédéric, I have had the pleasure of following your reflections and posts for many years. You are a source of inspiration for me on the path of self-knowledge and openness to the world. I have just finished reading your latest book: Jung, a Journey to Self. I wanted to sincerely thank you for the quality of your work, which I found captivating. It allowed me to understand many concepts, which resonated with me as self-evident truths. I hope to have the pleasure of speaking with you in person one day. Please continue to awaken our consciousness. I wish you all the best for the new year. Christophe
Thursday, December 30, 2021 – Andrew – Thank you for this wonderful read | Frédéric, I thoroughly enjoyed your new book on Jung, which, for me, was a fantastic introduction to a new, rich, and complex way of thinking. You struck a very good balance between your personal perspective and a documentary-style narrative. Thank you so much!
Sunday, December 26, 2021 – Morgane – Acknowledgments | Hello, thank you for giving us knowledge and helping us understand the world in which we play this fascinating role. Thank you for reading and analyzing so many thinkers and researchers on our behalf. Thank you for so skillfully exercising and honing your ability to organize ideas, illuminate the relationships between them, and synthesize information. Reading your work opens paths and doors, and gives us the feeling of being more connected to the universe and to our own lives. The ego is also very happy to feel more intelligent. What a beautiful incarnation you have chosen and what a beautiful way to fulfill yourself. Wishing you continued success. Morgane
Sunday, December 19, 2021 – Sergio – Message | It's a pleasure to read your message; you help us shape the keys and unlock the doors to the path of truth. Thank you.
Friday, December 17, 2021 – Gélou – Acknowledgments | Dear Frédéric, I would like to thank you for all the books you write. They are a great treasure for all of humanity. I assure you that you have re-enchanted the world I live in with your thoughts of wisdom, beauty, and depth. I am almost 80 years old and I always eagerly await the release of a new book from you. I have read almost all of them over the years, and each time it is a great joy to reflect on what you write. I wish you all the best for the holidays and a happy and fulfilling 2022 filled with spirituality, imagination, travel, and friendship. Take care of yourself, for you are precious to us all and to our beautiful planet, which we must preserve in thought, word, and deed. With warmest regards, Angèle
Saturday, December 11, 2021 – Gérard – Thank you | I just finished reading "A Short Treatise on Inner Life." I enjoyed every chapter, using it as morning reading and as food for thought afterward. I must admit I feel more fulfilled, at peace with myself and life, and happier. Thank you so much!
Thursday, December 9, 2021 – Rizma – Tribute | I'm discovering you today, not that I don't read, far from it, but… the timing wasn't right. I saw you at the Toulouse train station, or rather, I saw the title of your book on Jung, and since Jung is one of my great mentors… I don't usually read authors who write about others, but in this case, I don't know why, the sentence about Jung, your kind face, I thank you for being here and for your work on the place of animals, for your dialogue and sharing with children and their wisdom. In short, it's fantastic!!!
Tuesday, December 7, 2021 – Roberta – A thousand thanks | Hello, if true life is about encounters, then for me you are life's true gift. Until the next conference… online. Merry Christmas
Tuesday, November 30, 2021 – Frédérique – Thank you! | Hello! I just wanted to say "thank you!" Your books are like friends; they help me heal my wounded soul and guide me on my life's path, which I finally want to follow light as a feather. Safe travels!
Sunday, October 10, 2021 – Zara-N – Dialogue with Nature | Dear Frédéric, I live in Western Siberia. I listen to France Culture radio and heard your conversation with Abdennour Bidar, "The Sacralization of Everyday Life," and I'm delighted that philosophers in France are interested in the secrets of nature.
I only read French, and my PDF file in Russian, "Mystical Experience of Communication with Plants, Birds, and Animals," hasn't downloaded. Perhaps it's because of the Russian language. I communicate with nature through images, as I am an empath. Plants, birds, and animals understand me, and I understand them. All my best.
Sunday, September 19, 2021 – Giga amoroso – Our Encounters Through Your Writings | Our Humanist Universe
Beyond what we see, what we touch,
Our soul feels the invisible, what we imagine.
Love before our existence, light and joy,
This happiness, source of longing and ecstasy, that binds us to you.
Saturday, September 4, 2021 – belleroseline[at]yahoo.ca – The Dogma of the Trinity | What if the dogma of the Trinity was simply the understanding, the comprehension we have of God, illustrated by tongues of fire above the heads of the apostles!
Saturday, July 31, 2021 – Karine – THANK YOU | Dear Frédéric, a few years ago, I had the pleasure of hearing and seeing you in PARIS, and the “Spinoza miracle” began! I am immersed in your writings, sometimes attend the Perspectives Encounters , and try to share the reflections inspired by your readings. I had barely finished your book “Vivre” (To Live) when “chance” presented me with “Transmettre ce que nous nous apportons les uns aux autres” (Sharing What We Bring to Each Other). I am passionate about what you offer through your writings, your lectures, and broadcasts. I want to say THANK YOU: for your insightful perspective, and for the connections you forge with people who also fascinate me, such as Catherine Gueguen, Jeanne Siaud-Facchin, Christophe André, Matthieu Ricard, Alexandre Jollien, Boris Cyrulnik… I also remain convinced that it is by encouraging reflection in children, but also in adults, that we can build beautiful relationships. You are a true guide of positivity, objectivity, and thoughtfulness. THANK YOU
Wednesday, July 14, 2021 – Giga amoroso – “Just After the End of the World” Acceptance… | For you Thank you
» A light of love watches
over Time has passed and left its mark,
So many forgotten loves, memories without embrace.
My heart continues to beat
And my soul expands.
My tired, wrinkled body
Wants to surrender without haste.
Autumn carries it towards its destiny,
Winter is at my door, it knocks…
I don't want to let it in!
Not yet by letting myself go.
Deep within our being
The spring of dreams slumbers,
A small flame of love watches over
So that in the mornings we can almost be reborn.
As summer approaches in a rural setting,
It is so sweet to feel life with our desires,
Its scents, its birdsong, it invades us.
The light of its master tenderly penetrates us,
If only for a moment
To suspend time a little,
To contemplate with passion
The seasons unfold.
To enjoy life with emotion,
which enchants it with ecstasy!… »
Monday, July 5, 2021 – Chimed Tshomo | Thank you for reading the book * The Power of Joy *, sincere and vibrant. Reading your words, I sense your deep desire for readers to find joy in it. For me, that's certainly the case. Thank you. Here is a text I would like to share: The Swallow
"A swallow came to rest its wings on her head,
longing to see her take flight.
She soars through the clouds with fervor,
breathing in the air of freedom in the blue sky.
In freefall, she radiates.
A cypress tree reaches out to her
; she nestles beside it.
Its roots encircle her, sap flows in her heart.
A gentle love floods her with joy;
her eyes open to life." Js
May you live happily with your loved ones. Yours sincerely
Sunday, July 4, 2021 – Giga amoroso – Your latest novel “Just After the End of the World” | Dear Frederic, I am currently reading “Just After the End of the World,” which, from the very beginning, carries a powerful message of hope for the children who receive it. This has reminded me of my latest poem, written for my granddaughter's homework, inspired by the music of Ravel's “Bolero.” I am sharing it with you.
"The awakening of a beautiful one.
What is this gentle light that rises
, suddenly illuminating the horizon?
Why does it awaken me this morning?
Does it enchant me with the call of the finch?"
How then, still in my dreams,
on a floating white cloud,
my light, elongated body rise
and be carried away by temptation?
Yes, it is my beautiful cosmic star
that illuminates us through our four seasons.
Soon, higher still, to its zenith,
it warms my heart and my passions.
Happy, out of my beautiful chrysalis,
Surprise, I fly away as a butterfly.
Finally free, I dance with my guide,
And sing with joy in unison.
Saturday, June 19, 2021 – Marie Martine – St. Martin Conference | What a joy to have been able to listen to you once again under these two oak trees. So many messages conveyed, so much love, so many smiles. Your teachings nourish our souls, our daily lives, the shadows, the light. You are genuine on every level, available, and warm. Your latest book is a meditation that is important to reread and reread; I think Jung will also transport us. Thank you for making your knowledge accessible to your readers; it is truly beneficial. Full of gratitude for these physical connections, your travels; the south will resonate with your presence. Sincerely, a long-time reader
Monday, May 31, 2021 – Isabelle – The Paths of the Sacred | Mr. Lenoir, thank you for "The Paths of the Sacred," which I never tire of watching and rewatching. They are of great beauty and richness. To thank you, here is this poem:
" All the suns at dawn still sleep a little numb, nonchalant, they care little for the fire of the day that awaits them, they chase away the shadows of men and wars, all the suns at dawn are like grown-up children who have no use for time. " Poem by Alfio Antico (Italy)

Friday, May 14, 2021 – Ingrid – Thank You | Hello Sir, I wanted to thank you for the DVDs I received following my small contribution. I admit I had forgotten, but you hadn't. I wanted to thank you for all these soothing films, full of serenity and kindness. Thank you.
Saturday, May 8, 2021 – Bernard – Video #21 Spiritual Person | Hello, I watched your video entitled "The Three Fundamental Dimensions of a Spiritual Person" with great interest, and I must admit I remained perplexed by the dimensions mentioned, namely: 1. humor and the capacity for intelligence, 2. the heart and the capacity to love, 3. the body, which must be loved, a healthy mind in a healthy body. Spirituality is about growing in humanity, developing one's dreams, potential, and innate talents. Certainly, we must "take care of our bodies so that our soul wants to stay there," but we must first be fully aware that we are, first and foremost, spiritual beings, whose three fundamental dimensions or "components" are (from my humble point of view): Intelligence, Consciousness, and Emotions and Feelings. These harmonize with the two other states of the human being: Energy and Matter. Best regards
Thursday, April 22, 2021 – Danie – Acknowledgments | Following some health issues, I could no longer read, and it was starting to make me self-conscious… despite numerous attempts, I couldn't concentrate, regardless of the type of writer. Then, when you appeared on television and then on the radio, I couldn't resist reading your work, and since then, I've been reading… even rereading your books, which bring me so much… I so appreciate your accessible and "understandable" philosophical approach, for anyone (like me) who is interested in it. It's truly enriching for oneself and for others… THANK YOU… and please continue to write…
Friday, April 16, 2021 – catherineparisot[at]yahoo.fr – Your appearance on "C' à dire" on April 16 | Hello Mr. Lenoir, I am writing to thank you for your appearance on "C' à dire." Your way of seeing the world, which involves first looking inward in order to see the outside world differently, is completely in harmony with what I have been experiencing since I suffered a burnout five years ago. While I was deprived of my words, consumed by shame and guilt, I found strength in the small beauties that each day offers us. Slowly, I learned to live again, differently. I had to take stock of my life before, to focus on what made me feel good (nature, light, the beauty of each new day…) and set aside what creates anxiety and anger within me. I recounted my journey of introspection and reflection on my life in a book, "Letters for You."
Thank you for your insightful contribution. Sincerely, Catherine
Saturday, April 3, 2021 – Sabine – Thank you for “The Paths of the Sacred” | I just watched your documentary on Arte. Thank you for this wonderful gift and sharing.
Friday, April 2, 2021 – Margot – Your interview on La Grande Table on April 1, 2021 | If I understand you correctly, spirituality is for the bourgeoisie? For people like you who can gaze at the sea from your house in Corsica, contemplate nature from your country home, regenerate themselves thanks to trees and waterfalls, capture the sacred fire of volcanoes, interview Aboriginal people, walk in nature to rediscover inner silence, and travel the world to gather the testimonies of sages, gurus, masters – all human beings, right? I live in Paris, and for a year now, I have been deprived of silence, forests, volcanoes, landscapes. I live surrounded by minerals, concrete, asphalt, noise, crowds… shoulder to shoulder with a community of suffering human beings on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Like the majority of men and women on our planet… Are we excluded from your spirituality, incapable of experiencing the sacred, unable to have an inner life? Are you a sage or a purveyor of illusions?
Saturday, March 13, 2021 – Véronique | I started reading your book about a year ago on my aunt's advice. After several premarital counseling sessions, I had many questions about religion, and she recommended * The Soul of the World* . I devoured it; it really helped me a lot. I'm someone who suffers from frequent panic attacks. They used to come and go, but then they became chronic. My doctor prescribed antidepressants, which I quickly stopped taking because I wasn't myself anymore; I didn't recognize myself. I talked to my aunt about it, and she recommended your book, * A Short Treatise on Inner Life *. I don't know how to describe the feelings I had just reading the beginning. Tears started to stream down my cheeks, but not tears of sadness, but tears of joy, because I had found help in your book, as if you had written it just for me. I found answers, solutions that brought me relief. A huge thank you!
Monday, March 8, 2021 – Giga amoroso – Thank you for all your writings | Intimate thoughts to all dreamers searching for happiness.
Keep hope alive.
Often, the absence of waking dreams
leads us to horrible, senseless nightmares.
Night and day we search for light in the darkness,
for happiness depends in part on hope.
A life lesson from Erri DE LUCA:
" What matters to me is the page that keeps me awake while I write it, not those already written, never reread. "
Sunday, March 7, 2021 – Roberta | I'm listening to the meditation on consolation from your talk, and the emotions are numerous and surprising. You gave us a wonderful gift, a unique Sunday filled with hope, kindness, and intelligence—not superficiality, but useful, concrete, and practical advice to help us move forward in an increasingly unpredictable and chaotic world. What can I say? I adore you! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Friday, February 12, 2021 – Kevin – “The Soul of the World” | Hello Sir! I appreciate the quality of your work after discovering you a few years ago. I particularly enjoyed reading your three philosophical tales. In order of preference, “The Soul of the World” holds first place. As someone who is always eager for discovery and knowledge, you are an essential part of my personal journey! Proof: Wanting to deepen my interest in philosophy, my therapist recommended the “Philo-comics,” for which I discovered your preface! I repeat: YOU ARE AN ESSENTIAL IN YOUR FIELDS OF STUDY. Thank you again!
Thursday, February 11, 2021 – Jacques – A review | Hello, despite my largely insufficient background in many areas, I enjoy reading your work.
This lack of general knowledge is compensated for by the simplicity of your writing. Believe it or not, I feel that, ultimately, I gain a reinforcement of the key ideas that help me maintain my interest in life. Thank you.
Tuesday, February 9, 2021 – Cartecieliste – Forgiveness | Forgiving Liberates.
Forgiveness is a source of freedom, peace, and well-being.
Just as we are called to forgive others,
we are also called to forgive ourselves with the same kindness and open-mindedness.
It is time to let old grudges dissolve.
It is time to sweep the dust from the corners of our conscience.
It is time to restore the flow of joy in our lives.
It is high time to forgive.
Thank you, Frédéric, for your writings (I am on chapter 13 of your "Little Treatise on Inner Life" on non-violence and forgiveness), and I would like to know who wrote the text above, as it advocates non-violence. I myself am very quick-tempered and therefore violent towards myself, and have been for a very long time. Your book is a delight of truth and encourages moderation. Thank you.
Thursday, February 4, 2021 – Yves – “Happiness” | Thank you so much for this philosophical hike! ☺️
Sunday, January 24, 2021 – Françoise | Hello, thank you for this gem (Living in an Unpredictable World) which I savored like a chocolate candy, slowly and deliciously, to extract all its flavors. Very cordially
