In the age of globalization and new individualism, modern man faces unprecedented situations in his history: economic crisis, population explosion, the possibility of rendering the Earth uninhabitable through all kinds of pollution… This upheaval in our lifestyles brings with it new responsibilities, particularly towards future generations. Based on interviews conducted by Frédéric Lenoir in the early 1990s, this prophetic book argues for an ethic that concerns each and every one of us and the way we want to live together.
