PARIS (75): philo-musical show

Philo-musical show
with André Manoukian
The Keys to Wisdom
followed by a signing session
The evening’s schedule:
  • Reception from 7 p.m.
  • The show starts at 8 p.m. and lasts approximately 2 hours.
  • Autograph session

Theme :

Starting from the Thoughts for Myself by the philosopher emperor Marcus Aurelius, Frédéric Lenoir will explain in this evening the major themes of Stoic philosophy that can help us live in these difficult times: everything in our world is interdependent; we can be happy with little; freedom is above all internal; it is the judgments we make about things that most often make us happy or unhappy; we must learn to accompany the permanent movement of life rather than resist it; let us focus our attention on the present moment; concern for individual happiness must always be linked to concern for the common good, etc.

André Manoukian, on the piano, will answer each essential point and will evoke the lives of some great composers (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, the blues, Keith Jarret, etc.).
This unique musical-philosophical show will also feature moments of improvisation and interaction with the audience.

The event is over.
