Are you looking for inspiration to better understand the depths of your own mind and explore the fascinating world of analytical psychology? Look no further! Join us for this exceptional lecture on one of the greatest psychological thinkers of the 20th century.
- Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) , a Swiss physician and pioneer of psychoanalysis, is one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century. He remains relatively unknown in France, despite the profound influence his ideas have had on contemporary culture and his invention of numerous revolutionary concepts, such as synchronicity, the collective unconscious, archetypes, and complexes. He brought about a profound transformation in the aims of psychotherapy: it is no longer limited to the treatment of pathologies, but now aims at increasing the psychological and spiritual development of the individual, and thereby at raising the consciousness of humanity. In this sense, Jung is the father of the personal development movement, which took off in the United States in the 1960s.
- Jung, along with Spinoza, is one of those who most profoundly influenced Frédéric Lenoir and had a decisive impact on his worldview and self-perception. This is why he is committed to making this visionary thought accessible to a wide audience. It bridges psychology and quantum physics, demonstrating how much human beings need meaning and a symbolic or spiritual life to flourish deeply. This conviction led Jung to distance himself from Freud and prompted him to experiment with and develop his "individuation process": an extraordinary inner journey where each of us learns to engage our conscious and unconscious minds in dialogue to become fully ourselves and access a sense of unity and profound joy.
